Yet another pissed off customer. I am trying to send a broken Move [Dead Battery)  conveniently out of warranty by three months even although it’s sat in storage for a year .back to Poland for a 30% discount code on a replacement.I printed out the forms sent to me by Sonos customer service These were a shipping label and 3 waybills. I dropped them off at the designated shop . The owner checked it was all there. Told me the problems she had with UPs Ive now been sent an e mail from the wife with a photo of the box dumped on the porch and asking for an invoice that I know nothing about.im now out the country for another 6 weeks so can’t deal with it ,I’ve tried to open the support page by putting the number they gave and told me to keep ,but it does not recognise it .So what do I do now ?I was looking at updating a few of my older system , but if this is the back up you receive I think I will go elsewhere.   

I have GROUP called Main that includes my:1.TV ARC/L&R Play Ones/Sub in Family Room 2. Play One in KitchenWhen watching TV in Family Room with full TV audio playing I often say “Hey Sonos play on MAIN” while in earshot of the Kitchen Sonos 1. I’m finding that I must say “Hey Sonos switch to TV Mode” for the entire MAIN group to stop playing music and start playing the TV audio; for some reason it defaults to music on the “Play on Main” command. I finally discovered the “Switch to TV Mode” command here on the forum and thanks for that BUT: Is there a way to make my DEFAULT audio to always be TV (vs Music) when I say “Hey Sonos play on Main” when the TV is already playing and I want to include the entire “MAIN” group with that same TV audio? BTW turning the TV off/on again will default to TV audio on MAIN group and incidentally “hey sonos stop” in the kitchen first causes the TV to go on mute with unmuting NOT flowing to TV audio in the group/kitchen; both less than desired intents. 

My TV setup is the Arc, a Sub and a couple of Ones for the back channels. Every now and then I wander into my kitchen which is just far enough away that the sound does not carry well. I’d like to add another One to the system that effectively replicates the TV sound (center channel, specifically, as that’s where the dialogue seems to be most of the time). I can create a Group for this, but every time I turn the TV off and back on, the group breaks. Is there a way to create a permanent group for the TV sound? The Arc is the key component here I think, connected to the TV by eHDMI.

Hi, I have a problem with AirPlay. The system works correctly with the Sonos app but when I want to send something via airplay, the iPhone says it can not and the Mac to change the permissions to "Anyone on the same network". But I already have those permissions like that.What can be the solution?

Up until the weekend my Play:1 was functioning perfectly. It has been powered on for months and used weekly with no issues. On Sunday I unplugged it to take it out into the garden while it was a nice day but the app would not see it. I have power cycled the Play:1 and the router Moved next to the router Hard wired with an Ethernet cable Downloaded the Windows app to try that Reset the device and attempted to setup as new I cannot even join the SONOS wifi when trying to set the device upI can see it on the router, I can ping it’s IP and the MAC matches the MAC on the bottom of the device. I suspect the firmware has failed on the device, can I force this again over the Ethernet with a rescue tool?

Hi guys,Although I have a subscription of Amazon Music service, I don’t seem to be able to integrate it on my sonos app.That makes me feel a bit uncomfortable since I’ve pre-ordered the ERA 300 and I’m hoping to have services that support ATMOS and Spatial audio from Day 1.Also, the question is when will you expand the integration on the sonos app and if I can use airplay (using the amazon music app directly) to stream atmos on Era 300.Thanks in advance,Jose

I have an Amp connected to in-ceiling speakers and a Beam. Everything is currently configured as a home theatre with the Amp wired speakers acting as surrounds. This is all in our living room in the main area of the house. Is there a way to have two setups on that system? One for use as a home theatre, and another for music (that would use the ceiling speakers more fully)?

I’ve just got a Sonos Roam SL - how do I use Alexa with it? Unlike on the Sonos One speaker I can’t see a little microphone?Thanks

Long story short… my Sub was amazing when I first got it in July of 22. However the last month or so the wow factor has gone. I couldn’t feel it or hear it like I could.I called Sonos and spent an hour or so on the phone. They concluded it must be faulty, but they couldn’t detect an issue.I went out got a brand new 2nd Sub, run them as a pair and it’s still underwhelming. The songs I played to show how good the sub is to friends, now sounds ordinary. No way would I want to show this off now.  I’m running an arc, 2x One’s, 2x subs all with latest updates.  any thoughts?

I have a theater room set up with a sonos arc, a sonos sub and four (4) sonos ones,  I use all four (4) sonos ones as surrounds speakers however there are times when I am watching sporting events when I would like to use my four (4) sonos ones as main speakers in my theater room. I have been researching on how to do this for weeks but with no success. Is there any way in which I can set up my sonos ones to have this flexibility?  Thanks,Stephen

I’m just asking if any tech experts or indeed any nontech LG owners can help.I have an LG 2019 tv. Also an apple 4ktv and Sky Q box. I had a Beam gen 1 and now a Beam gen 2.On receiving my Beam2 I decided to add my play 1s as surrounds. This was when the lipsync issue started, with video arriving before the audio. So audio delay settings on Sky, TV and Sonos app were ineffective. I then decided to use only LG native apps, not sky nor Apple TV. Still issue was present. By a process of elimination I found that there was no issue with the LG speakers - apart from the fact that they sounded hideous😳. The audio delay was coming from the TV - HDMI -  Beam route.I tried all the usual things, rebooting, resetting, swapping cables, etc.I then tried to research this through all online resources/forums etc  I could find. I came to 1 conclusion and 1 answer to this: 1, the conclusion, this is not that uncommon, particularly with LG, and not just Sonos. Hello, I am in the market for a turntable, and wanted to output that to a sonos amp.  My question, If I were to get passive speakers powered by the sonos amp, would I be able to output the audio from my turntable, to both the passive speakers and my 4 sonos ones that I have around my house? 

So I’ve had a Sonos One for years, but have recently moved to a new house and with that comes a new router. Now obviously I want to change the wi-fi network on my Sonos One, but I’m stuck in a catch-22 here: Sonos tells me it can’t find wifi I press “Add Network” or whatever it’s called in the app App can’t find Sonos because it’s not on the network (duh) I also can’t access any of the settings in the app because the Sonos doesn’t have wifi access. I’ve done a factory reset but to no avail. So no way to fix this from my end I think. Any help? 

Hi, I’m wanting to create a few party playlists that will include both Spotify tracks and tracks that I have on my Mac. However when I add the tracks to the Your Library section of Spotify and try to play them, they are greyed out.I have tried playing through Spotify and selecting my Sonos Room and get “track can’t be played at this time” and also tried playing through Sonos App and selecting Your Library, then the playlist - but any tracks that are computer based are greyed out.My question is, if I were to upgrade to the new Gen 2 Connect Amp would this issue be solved?Thanks!

I have a Samsung UE37D6530 TV and have just connected a Beam 2 via HDMI ARC.However, I can only get Stereo PCM 2.0The TV sound options are greyed out (other than PCM)Anytime+ (HDMI CEC) is on.Is there a way I can get something better than stereo PCM?Am I missing something, or is it just that the TV is a bit too old? 

I have a Sonos Arc and Play 1 connected to S2. I also have a Play 5 Gen 1 connected to S1. Both are connected to the same network When I connect to S2, it keeps suggesting that I connect connect the Play5 or open S1. This simply prevents me from listening to the Arc. How can I prevent this message from showing and thus blocking my listening. Disconnecting the Play 5 does work, but is not really practical.Sonos report number 1415913151 Moderator edit: combined posts

There was a power cut where I live a few days ago and after that the Arc sounds much worse. It's quieter and in busy scenes the sound feels very compressed, very lifeless.I've unplugged and redone Trueplay but no improvement. Any ideas? Are the speakers damaged? Will a reset help?

Hi there, could someone please tell me if there are any diagrams available for explaining to my electrician how to wire a series of sonos amps to in ceiling speakers. He was talking about wiring them in series and I dont believe that that is the correct method. Also I have plans to put a speaker in an ensuite and adjacent walk in wardroom. My plan was to use 2 individual steroe speakers wired back to one amp ie as one zone. should I run 2 wires for left and right from the amp to each speaker?Thanks.

On all iPhones and iPads in household, we have been getting error message “unable to play…connection to Spotify was lost.” All reboots reinstalls etc etc not working. Other music/podcast sources working fine.Various searches show it is a frequent issue…what is Spotify doing about it? So frustrating!Filled the house with expensive Sonos speakers that won’t play music. Kinda want to go back to CDs.

We’ve moved office, one of our speakers connects fine - serial ************* but I’m struggling to get the other speaker working - serial ***************. Both speakers are Play:1I’ve tried a factory reset on the speaker, then made it discoverable by pressing the play/pause and volume button simultaneously. This didn’t work as my phone couldn’t find the device. I also tried forgetting the wifi network and resetting it up. Unfortunately, only the speaker that already connected fine was discoverable and could connect to the wifi. When I tried to add the other device, it still wasn’t discoverable. Not really sure what to do next, would be great if someone knew what to do? Moderator edit: removed serial numbers

Hello fellow Sonos enthusiasts,I’ve recently bought the Sonos Sub Mini and I’m heavily impressed by the sheer bass from such a small unit at that pricelevel. I have a par sonos one SL speaker currently used in other rooms of my apartment, but im thinking of adding them to my TV to get a surround 5.1 system to further elevate the experience. However my budget is currently low and behind my sofa there’s a windowsill i can use to place the speakers on (see image).  So what are you guys thoughts on having them facing the wall and making the sound bounce i feel like it would be kind of worthless but I have zero to none knowledge about speaker placements so i kindly ask for you input., Total setup:Sonos Beam Gen 2Sonos Sub MiniSonos One Sonos One SL Kind regards,

I am thinking of installing ONE at A business.I have been down to the customer and tested with a sonos on their network but I am unable to connect to it.They have a network with many wireless routers. I have understood that it does not work with Wifi and must go wired.After resetting the device, it appears in the App but won't connect online, I'm on wifi myself with the Sonos app.My question is:To connect sonos in a typical company network, is there something I have to do to IT, open some ports or such? I feel there is a block on the network somewhere. When I connect a PC with a cable, this works fine.
