I have just attached my new Sonos arc to my Sony A1e and the only audio input I see on the arc is Stereo pcm. I have tried testing films from both an Apple TV plugged into the Sony tv and the Netflix app on the Sony tv but I get the same result . I know the Sony only has ARC, not eARC, but I would have expected to at least get Dolby digital into the Arc. Any ideas what connections or settings I can try?

Set the TV to these settings (if available):
Digital Audio Out: Auto 1
Dolby Digital Plus Output: Dolby Digital Plus
Pass Through Mode: Auto
And set the Apple TV to this audio setting:
Change Format: OFF
If this setting doesn’t work, set Change Format to ON and set the Audio Format to Dolby Digital 5.1.
