I predominantly listen to music on Sonos and have an existing 2x Sonos One (Gen2). 

Considering that Sonos Sub Mini and Era300 are priced similar. 

Should I rather add the Sonos Sub Mini to my existing setup or get Era 300. It is for my small to mid sized lounge. 

Which should give me the best music experience?

The Sub Mini.  Only a Sub can be bonded to a stereo pair to make a single room.  The 300 would have to be grouped, and in a group, the lowest capability of the group determines the source, and since the Ones are only stereo, you'd lose the Atmos capabilities of the 300, making it just another speaker (one which muddies the stereo image of the current stereo pair).
