Is there anyway to stop this? If you switch off automatic updates sonos starts slowly removing app functionality. First I noticed they stop you re-tuning true-play unless you update, now ive noticed they prevent me re-indexing my locally stored library. What is the point in having a pretend automatic updates option that cripples the apps functionality thereby forcing you to update regardless?

Either your Sonos hardware is automatically updating, or your Sonos app is. You need to turn off automatic updates both from Sonos, and from your app store.
