With the new Sonos era 300 coming into play, they're stating that it will get a maximum of 7.1.4 surround sound. Hearing that, does that mean you can't hook up a second sub when pairing it with the era 300 as rear speakers to achieve 7.2.4 surround sound?

Hello all,I have a Sonos system with multiple speakers that was originally set in the UK.I have now moved to Spain and tried to control again my speakers through Alexa but it’s been impossible to do so: Alexa sees I have Sonos speakers, suggest to me that I should enable them but then I get the message “You are not elegible to enable this skill due to geographical restrictions.”Would someone be able to help?

Hello there, I would like to submit a bug report. On the S1 desktop app, when I select my Spotify “library”, then “titles” and hit “play”, an error occurs every time. I can’t run my latest Spotify library picks, nor on shuffle mode, to say it otherwise… Hope someone will find a way to make it work, maybe by loading a part of the library in the queue-list for example ?

My Arc fell and one of the little side grilles got cracked and popped off.. is it possible to find a replacement part? It looks like it can just be popped in. 

I some problems to start the speaker. I plug it and I have a small red light at the bottom and it seems like the devise don’t charge, I use different way to charge it but I have a 10W plug with de usb C cable of the Roam.  Do you have any recommandation how I can know if it's the battery or the starting button the problem? Thanks

Hello!  Disclaimer - this is not my area of expertise, but I’m trying to figure out what piece of equipment is required to set up my parents’ old record player to play through our Sonos system.  I’d like to be able to gift it to my husband for his upcoming birthday!  Every time we start to dig in and research to figure it out we both get frustrated. We have an old Playbar as our main speaker (plus a play:1, two One SLs, and a Roam).  We currently have it set up running through a recording interface (I think - it says M Audio M Track on it) + guitar amp (Orange Crush 20RT) + my husband’s laptop (I’m not sure how he’s managing it on there).  The quality is really poor that way - almost unbearable to listen to.  It sounds like it’s skipping constantly. Ideally, the record player would not be directly connected to the playbar because there isn’t really any space for it nearby.  That isn’t a deal breaker, just a reasonably high priority. I’m not sure if we need a preamp, a Sonos Port, somet

I am thinking about replacing my 2 One SL surround speakers with 2 Era 300 wall mounts. I have an Arc, Sub (gen3) and the 2 One SL surrounds currently.However the 2 One SLs are mounted 1 foot under the ceiling and angled down behind my seating to point at my seat, which may be too close for the Atmos of the Era 300 to work correctly.   Any suggestions on how much space from the ceiling I should have?    I am planning to use the wall mounts sold as accessories.  

I have a wireless network with a Netgear rbr50 and 1 satellite. Also have a Sonos Boost connected to the RBR50 via Ethernet. There are 2 Play 1s in one room and 2 Symfonisks in another. The Sonos app shows all players connected to Boost (WM0).When I check connected devices in the Netgear app it shows the Symfonisks and Boost as wired connections, but the Play 1s show as connected wirelessly, albeit with no signal.I have tried rebooting the Play 1s but nothing changed.Does anyone have any thoughts and should I be concerned?  

I have a new Samsung QN75Q80B TV and a Sonos Arc sound bar. The sound bar is connected via eARC. In order to get the Sonos sound bar to play, it must be the only HDMI port in use at the time the TV is turned on. I can then connect my Spectrum cable box to any of the remaining HDMI ports and Sonos will remain as my sound output. All is well with TV and/or cable functionality.  However, if I turn off the TV and later turn back on with everything connected, I will not be able to select Sonos as my sound output, it keeps reverting back to TV speakers and will not allow me to select Sonos.  This situation will remain constant until I disconnect the Spectrum cable box HDMI cable and re-initialize the Sonos as the selected sound output. The Sonos sound bar begins emitting sound as norm.  Then, I can reconnect the Spectrum cable box HDMI and everything is back to norm.  I shouldn't have to be disconnecting and reconnecting the Spectrum HDMI cable each time I turn off/turn on the TV.

My current setup:TV Area:Beam (gen1) connected to AppleTV and wireless HD projector Sonos sub2x play:1s setup in surround sound Living area:2x HomePods in stereo pair 2x bookshelf AudioEngine A2s connected to an old Airport Express i generally use Airplay2 to stream across both areas. I’m thinking of getting a vinyl player, so of course I’d like one that works with my set up. First question, if I buy a turntable and plug it to a Sonos Port, does that enable it to stream across the whole airplay2 network or only the Sonos speakers? Second question, same for the Victrola Sonos-certified turntables, would they only work via Sonos speakers or once I hit play to the line in on the Sonos app I can expand it via airplay2 to the rest? Third, following up on question 1; any reason to buy a Port instead of an Era 100/300/Five? They all seem to have a line in and similar functionality and the Port isn’t cheap… Any repercussions re: stereo or whatever if it’s one bookshelf speaker?

Hi there, I would like to buy a Beam gen.2, I already own two Sonos Ones.My main question is:Having an Apple TV connected to a video projector at the end of the room, can I install the Beam front  (where the projector screen is mounted) and make everything work with AirPlay without any hdmi or optical cable between Apple TV and Sonos Beam? For music listening, Is it possible to have an era 300 and 2x ones (which I already have) for surround or should I get a Beam to go with my 2x ones for surround?

I have tried resetting multiple times, reinstalling all my apps and also a factory reset on my Sonos move.  I verified it is connected to the same network as my phone and while I know there is a connection between my phone and the sonos device it still will not install google voice it goes through the steps and when it looks for the device it says not found.

I have a gen 1 beam with two play 1’s as surrounds in one room, two play 1’s as stereo pair in another room and a roam.The beam is wired and therefore the “master” speaker.For the past few weeks I’ve been facing issues with this setup that I’ve previously never seen whereby I will regularly open the app and my “Kitchen” setup of two play 1’s is not visible.Sometimes it was visible on my iPad app but not on my android phone and sometimes not on either. Similarly the roam would “disappear”.Most of the time the speakers would be visible in “my system” but the room was not visible.Having been through numerous speaker resets I thought I had solved the problem when I turned off the Wi-Fi on the beam because it was Ethernet cabled. Of course I lost the surround speakers but the kitchen speakers seemed more stable. This weekend I set the Wi-Fi back on the beam, got my surround back and then…Sonos update day and all my problems are back.“Kitchen” speakers have disappeared. Tried unplugging and

Anyone having issues with explicit music randomly playing? This has happened to us 5 times now a few of which with kids and family over. When I say explicit I don't mean just any music with some explicit language. I mean meth, cocaine, murder, f*#king h03s, mentioned in the first 15 seconds of the song… Unacceptable for this to happen multiple times with no explanation from Sonos.

I currently have the 5.1 surround setup with the arch, 2 One SL’s, and the gen 3 sub.I want to get more depth out of it and have been thinking of adding two 5’s to replace the One SL’s I currently have. With the new Era 300’s I have more options.what would be the best fit for the surround setup, adding 2 5’s or 2 Era 300’s?

Can anyone advise on the best location for the boost to be sited.  Does it benefit from being a certain distance from the router and other electrical components?

Having just read all about the new Sonos Era 100 I am unsure if I add one to my existing system, will I be able to stream a bluetooth device throughout the whole house? Any ideas?

Hi,Quick question about ceiling speakers please. I can see the dimensions online for width and depth but can’t see anything relating to the maximum thickness of plasterboard / wood that they can fit on. Looking at the pictures it secures with clamps so just wondering how wide these go if anyone knows? Would it fit on a double layer of plasterboard for example? Also with one pair I assume I just run one cable back to each side of the amp, rather then daisy chain?ThanksSteve

Hello, I have been using three Sonos speakers for years and they still work perfectly, BUT they are not compatible with Airplay.   If I buy one newer Sonos speaker that is Airplay compatible, will that effectively make the whole system Airplay compatible?   

Hello- We have Sonos Play Sound Bars that we use at home in out bedroom and living room along with Ones in the bedroom and Threes in the living room.We also have 2 Moves that I will use to take into the backyard to play music throughout our yard along with th house Sonos speakers.We have an older RV that I would like to add a Sonos Beam or Ray ( due to the smaller size) that I can use our Moves with.  My problem is that we won’t have WiFi except as a HotSpot from mt Verizon phone. First- is there a soundbar that I can use as a BlueTooth and add the two Moves  to it - OR if that won’t work… How would I use my 2 Moves with a Soundbar  oe aomwthing that is hooked up to our TV and add the Moves?Thanks in Advance!
