My One SL is the left speaker in my surround sound system. The other speakers are a beam and One SL. The left rear One SL has be showing updating in the app for days. I have unplugged it and now it will not turn back on. 

Hi there.I may have been a little stupid/naieve.I bought a second-hand pair of Play 1 (S2 compatible) speakers to use on my S1 system.  I downgraded them to S1 and they work very well.I intended to use the pair with my television headphone jack and a connect but the delay in the system puts the lip sync out by several seconds.I would like to return the speakers to S2 in order to resell them.  Is this possible and, if so, how might I do it?Many thanks,Derek P

Please remove unused queues and saved playlist and try again."Long story short, I understand support for local Music Libraries is dwindling, understand the 65,000 limit, understand the S1 SMB1 and subsequent S2 SM2/SM3 support issue... but still I cannot play get library to play on any of my 5 Sonos speakers (Roam/Play:1/Play:3).I have 100GB and over 13K songs on a Synology NAS shared drive, 150GB home wifi and 3 so-called 'wifi discs', so the house is covered. Initially attempted to add my library via an iPhone 13 and S2, as I noticed it dropped off approximately four weeks ago. Several failed attempts later I tried again by downloading a fresh Sonos Controller app (Sonos_71.1) on a MacBook Pro 2020 running Ventura 13.2.1. Settings > Music Library > +, entered the //IP/Music with the creds and waited. After 5 hours of the of the spinning wheel of death, I get the "There is not enough room...' message.Does Sonos not support purchase

Lately, I have been experiencing increasing issues with my Sonos Move. I have a pair of Sonos 5 set up in my living room and a Sonos Move in my kitchen. While the Sonos 5 works perfectly, my Move has been intermittently losing and regaining contact, resulting in the music being interrupted or going completely silent. At times, it also produces a crackling sound. I have attempted to resolve the issue by rebooting it, but it has not helped. Additionally, the wifi connectivity appears to be functioning normally, and there is nothing nearby the Move that could be causing the problem. I am unsure of what to do next.

this weekend, my neighborhood held an annual yard sale.  I bought 2 Play1 speakers and when attempting to register and add speakers to my account / internet, the app asks me to enter the password and shows a partially redacted email address - I assume it is the previous owner because it isn’t mine. Is there a way to remove the previous owner so i can register the speakers?  Is there a phone number I can call to speak with someone to provide documents, etc to add these to my sonos account?  TIA!!Chris

Is a SYMFONISK lamp suitable for outdoors?  I'm talking about a covered deck. 

I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 connected to my Samsung TV via e-ARC. Neither the TV nor the Sonos Beam have Alexa enabled. None the less, when I say “Alexa” (talking to my Amazon Echo) the Beam lowers its volume. This does not happen when I use the TV without the Beam connected (the volume remains constant). Is this a feature of the Beam? Can it be disabled (I would prefer that the volume remain consistent)? Oddly, I do not have this issue with my Sonos Arc (also connected via e-ARC to an LG TV).

Does anyone know why I can’t play my Bandcamp app playlist in Sonos?

I just connected a new mesh router, basically switching network and the Sonos app (S2) finds the device (amp and Sonos one) and after going through the clicking on the back button, the app will say that it couldn't find the device. Not sure how it found it when I started the process but couldn't complete the setup.Any ideas?Thanks   

A song I’ve played for years now all of a sudden says access denied although if played through Spotify on sonos system then plays fine ? I also have to re-authorise Spotify and other devices ( maybe not daily !) but at least twice a week ? Help please

hi there.  we’ve moved into a house with an old Sonos amp powering our kitchen ceiling speakers. we’re running it off S1 along with two rooms of IKEA bookshelf Sonos speakers. if we purchase a new sonos amp will that just plug in and power the ceiling speakers? then if we purchase a Beam 2 bundle with sub, could that work alongside the IKEA bookshelf speakers already in that room  for surround sound? thanks!

What is a simple remote to control the volume of my Sonos Home Theater on my Roku TV without having to use my phone ?

I have 7 in ceiling speakers in my theater room connected to my receiver. When i want to play my streaming music with my SONOS App, i need to turn the receiver on and switch it to the correct output in order to use the App on my phone. What option do i have regarding playing my speakers with my mobile app without having to manually turning on receiver?  

Hello, here is my setup: x1 Beam over Wifix2 One SL over Wifi + Ethernet I want my One SLs to only use Ethernet. Last week, I did put my One SLs over Ethernet and disabled Wi-Fi from both of them with the SONOS app. Since then, the surround sound stopped working (it is not a TV problem, I tested with a few SONOS radio stations).  It’s only the surround that doesn’t work though, because I can still use the controls on them, increasing/decreasing volume etc, it controls the whole setup. On the app they are not displaying any error. Also, sometimes the status light stays green. I read that it means it is muted but increasing the volume from the app itself or from any of the One SL doesn’t change anything. I tried, turning them off and on a few times. I also removed them from the app and did re-set them up. Nothing works, except when I turn the Wifi back on, everything goes back to normal. Didn’t find a similar problem over the internet. What could be the problem? Thank you,Loris.

My system can't be found in app and have difficulty to restore and find system again.  Started with my boost that wouldn't update. (Version 15.1)  Now I've spent a long time getting it up and running again, but that could indicate a too quick update.  I hope for my sake and that of sonos fans that sonos rushes an update that fixes the bug!

Considering the above for a living room.  I understand the trueplay won’t be available for the 3rd party speakers as mains, BUT… will trueplay be available for the subs and the One’s?Thanks.. 

How do I add multiple amps 

I’ve been troubleshooting some issues with my Sonos set-up after the introduction of a new router from my ISP provider. I have a Sonos SL One in a detached garage and one in an attached garage.  Both run wireless.  I do not have them set up as stereo pair.  One shows WM: 0 and the other has WM: 1. I have many other devices connected by Ethernet (amps, Sonos One, etc.) but not these two speakers. I’m confused why one of these would show WM 1 and the other WM 0.  Shouldn’t they be the same?Both have Wifi enabled if that matters. Thank you.

Hello all,The following problem: I bought a refurbished Playbar via the Sonos Store and set it up in the living room with 2 Sonos One (Gen 1) as surrounds. Everything has worked so far. However, as soon as I watch normal TV or a movie in Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1, I clearly hear sound dropouts/ stuttering in both Surround Ones. The Sonos App shows Dolby Digital 2.0 or 5.1. Our current system consists of a Beam and 2 x one sl in the living room, 2 x play 1s in the kitchen. I’ve tried Adding a play 3 with no success, the play 3 resets and adds to the system but disconnects from the WiFi. I’ve tried adding using a Ethernet cable but this hasn’t worked.

I’m moving into a new house in a few months and am finally at a point where I can finish my main room video / audio setup. Here is what I have currently:A 4K compatible TVan all-in-one region free Blu-ray / DVD / HDCD player, hooked up to the TV Via HDMIA second generation play 5 next to the tvA beam paired with the television. Streaming video and the blu ray player play through the tv and the beam (play 5 muted)music - both streaming and the cd player- plays through the paired play:5 and the beam.  when we movie the plan is this:Buy the mini subbuy two one SLs as rear channel surrounds buy a turntable and amp it through the play:5play music in surround (5+1s + beam + sub), playable from streaming, the turntable, and CDPlay TV in surround (same setup as above, minus the play5). so, the question: is there anything I am missing here or anything that won’t work in the new setup?
