Had Sonos since 2015. Great product. We used to play Spotify a lot. No issues until few weeks ago. No matter the category after few songs adverts appear, especially Metallica, and - nothing - system goes on pause. Have cleared cache, rebooted router, no difference. Yes we've always had adverts, including "listen to these and get 30 min advert free", which has disappeared. Don't have this issue if we play music via Sonos Radio. It's only started since Metallica appeared.

Sonos doesn’t insert advertisements in other company’s streams. I know TuneIn does, but if you’re listening to a Spotify stream of Metallica, then you should be contacting Spotify to express your concern about these advertisements.
