I just don’t get it.If I want to play something on multiple speakers I simply select what other Sonus devices I want, when I’m playing something.  For the TV, I have to add my Sonus roam SL every time manually, so I thought, I know, I will create a group with my Arc, left and right speakers and sub woofer plus the Sonus SL, which is easy to do.  Now I have no idea how to actually use that group, as I still have to add the SL every time I turn on my TV.  Also, the volume control on my TV remote only changes the volume on the main set with the Arc, the SL stays at whatever volume was set in the Sonus app, which is a bit tedious. What am I missing here?I use Google assistant and also Sonus voice control.  I also have a 300 in the master bathroom with a beam in the bedroom next door, so I created a group, but there is no way to use it that I can find.I must be missing the something here, can anybody explain.

Considering a pair of Era 100s with a sub mini for stereo in my living room.  Just wondering who has done this and their opinions.  Does the sub mini help much?  Would the Sub be a better fit?  I like my bass but definitely prefer tight to overly punchy and especially muddy.  I am going to try out an old pair of Play 1s I have to get a general feel for what to expect so mainly wondering about the impact of Sub vs Sub mini.Thanks.

In the past week sonos has stopped playing AAC files from my Apple Music library anyone know why? This is happening at both houses so I know it isn’t a router issue. That said, I have restarted both routers to no avail. because they always they always start you off with the old did you restart ….

I currently use Play 1s as my surrounds with the arc and sub gen 3. I live in a condo and have an open concept floor plan with the dining room to the left of the sofa. I heard that the era 300s rely on bouncing sounds off the walls. Would it be better to stick with what I have now or would the era 300 still be an upgrade? This is a picture of the room

(500) Sorry, we are unable to set up your SoundCloud account at this time. Ive tried adding SoundCloud from IOS and Windows and get the same message:(500) Sorry, we are unable to set up your SoundCloud account at this time. Any Ideas?  All my music is on soundcloud, This kind of makes my Sonos useless right now.

Hi there, I have a pair of Focal 714v that I used with my old amp to watch movies but my amp fail. I bought a new Sonos  amp. I saw that you can make a surround sound system with the Arc and 2 Era 300 or 2 front channels with the Amp and 2 Era 300 for the surround. But the Sonos Arc with the Era 300 can use Atmos to create an spatial sound. My question is, can I add a Era as a center or have both my speaker and a Arc at the same time to have the Atmos sound. Any other suggestions is welcome! Thanks you

New ARC owner here. Installed today (by the retailers installation service). It’s connected to the TV and that seems to be working. I have the Sonos app on my iPhone13 and have run through the setup (many times) and it fails to register. The app recognises the ARC, is connected (in “About My System”) and it is added to my “Family Room” but shows as “Not Registered”. I’ve reset the router, have both the ARC and the iPhone on the 2.4GHz side of the wifi. The ARC shows up as a connected device in the router admin. I’ve tried it with an ethernet cable. I’ve reset the app several times, done the factory reset on the ARC several times. Nothing I do seems to be able to get me past the register stage. My account on the Sonos website shows no registered products in my System.  It feels like there’s nothing working at the other end for the app to communicate with.  Any ideas?  Thanks.    Chris.

Hi All, I switched to Sonos Voice Control (SVC) several months ago and loved the fact that it was more accurate than Alexa because it had a narrower list of things to do.  However, more recently, I’ve started to notice that there is an error with the way that it works with Apple Music. I have never used SVC with any other music service.  What seems to be happening is this: I say “Hey Sonos - play Out of Touch by Hall and Oats”  SVC correctly interprets my request and finds the correct song from somewhere (i’ll come back to this point).  The song is not played.  To the user it seems like the voice command didn’t work. I check the app and it shows the correct song, but it is not playing.   I click “Play” and I get the message “This item is no longer available.”  If I search for Out of Touch by Hall and Oats manually on the app, the album version which Sonos found earlier is not displayed, and I am instead shown a different version.  For example, whereas SVC found and tried to play “The V

I am using a Soundbar + Sub + 02 Sonos 01's as Surround. Any suggestions how I can add 02 Sonos 5's as Speaker Fronts to this setup? What do you guys think.

Hellou, I have an older Phillips TV and even that there is an HDMI Arc on the TV, there is no audio playing from my Beam, so my question is following. When I use Xiaomi Mi TV box and connect it to a HDMI splitter to split the signal to two, one for the TV and one for Sonos Beam. Will it work? Will it recognize also the Dolby Atmos? Thank youKarol

I have a brand new Samsung TV just bought August’23. When turned on all sound goes through the Sonos amp. I goto the tv system settings and choose the sound output to be the tv speakers and it will switch over for 2-3 seconds and then go back the HDMI ARC. That all sounds and work great, but I should be able to limit the sound to only the tv speakers and play music through the amp via my SONOS app. This is an outdoor set up, and I would like to be able to have the kids watch TV while we’re listening to music on our outdoor speakers. The HDMI ARC connection is intended for sports or movies, not everything on the TV!Please Help!!!

Can I use 2 sonos one sl, or 2 sonos move as my main tv speakers without any other product?Thank you

why can’t I listen to two speakers move in bluetooth mode at the same time?iphone usage as audio broadcasting system

Hello, I tried many times to add the Soundcloud account with no success. After the message 'Soundcloud is now set up on Sonos' and the invitation to go back to the Sonos app, the latter actually informs me that there is a 'connection error - there was a problem adding the soundcloud account'. For info, I was able to add the Spotify account. The discussion in other threads did not help unfortunately.

The spouse uninstalled and installed the Sonos and during that process the upgrade to S2 happened and I did not want that to happen.  GRRRRR   As my play 5 is not compatiable.  So, I’ve moved on from that situation/frustration and have decided to continue to use S2 instead of S1 after resetting most of my speaker/sub/boost (which is a lot) and trying to downgrade back to S1.  This is where the frustration turns to Sonos!  This should not be that difficult.  On the to problem:In my effort to rebuild my Sonos environments/rooms in S2 there are two speakers that were working just the day before the spouse unknowingly updated everything to S2 that will not connect to my S2.  The reason they are not connecting is because they will not reset…. I follow the steps as I did with the numerous other speakers; however, these two will not turn to flashing green - I still tried to add them anyway and S2 does pick them up and goes through the step to add them only to have a hard stop at the speaker s

Using a different method to store / play my CD collection. How do I remove my PORT.I see no remove option although it's not connected, and I get a warning of this.

Could someone kindly help please?I currently have the following LG Oled tv connected to Sonos Arc via Earc Sonos ArcSonos Gen 3 subpair of Era 300s configured as surrounds. The Era 300s in this configuration don’t utilise the main speaker. How can I add a CD player and what hardware is required to play stereo to the Era 300s so the centre speaker is used and retain the system as a surround set up for blu rays. Or is it not possible Thank you

I’m very disappointed with the Era 300 as surround setup. I’ve just upgraded my theatre from Arc+Sub+2 Ones to 2 Era 300s and it’s underperforming due to central driver not firing in Era 300s. I’m going back to 2 Ones as surrounds as they provided a much better sound experience.  I bought both Era 300s at a local distributor’s store. I can easily return the speaker bought today, but I also want to return the one I bought several months ago, as I had bought it with the intention to upgrade my surrounds and now I found out they do not work as expected when paired together.

Hi, I would like to know the impact of having 2 pairs of surrounding in front of my arc, see image below:The circles are the in-celling surrounding, the house was pre-wired for a 5.1 sound and since I got 2 sets of speakers,  I decided to connected all 4 speakers to the amp , but I'm curious if the 2 sets in front of the ARC could cause any degradation to sound

This has been another major issue for us with little to no official remedy from Sonos.Homekit requires this back end update for certain accessories and is in current IOS (non-beta) software. Sonos’ only suggestion is resetting all speakers and re-adding (major timesink) which we’ve done twice, only to have the issue return. Any help from the team or ETA on a fix?

Hi i plan to acquire an arc, a sub and 2 era300 for my new home cinema system. i d like to check with you guys if a wired connection is required . I watched a youtube video and the guy said at least one of the speaker needs to be be wiredly connected .  Is it true ? Ideally i d like to use only wifi to reduce uggly cables . thanks for your inputs . pat

F****** app icon is constantly jumping up and down on my Mac. It takes like three separate interruptions just to get the f***er to install the update. I don’t even know what the updates do and they don’t seem to do anything at all but break s***. Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

We are remolding a house we will move into and we just finished our outdoor pool and looking at getting the Sonance 8.1 outdoor system and then also have Sonos bluetooth speakers in various rooms inside.  I would like to have all this on the same Sonos App where I can control it all together, or use different music in different areas.  And then I’ll combine the app to Google home to control it with voice.  I have searched for hours for this answer.  Hoping someone can help me out so I buy the right products!  Thank you in advance!

Hello all,Bought a new NAS (Synology). Unfortunately cannot my older sonos system /connect:AMP (using the S1 controller) won't add the path with my music. On my new sonos system (using the new controller) it does work. I did change the nas to smbv1 and i also checked the NTLMv1-autentication box. Tried to make a different folder/user account to use with my old system, but this also failed… does anyone here have any advice?Cheers
