So the Plex integration doesn’t get HD or Hi Res flag in the interface when playing hi res files,When you “cast” from Roon over Sonos and it shows the signal path as being lossless again it doesn’t show the flag…Is there any way to get HD or Hi res flags other than streaming direct from local media library? Thanks

Hi, I have recently renewed my Plusnet account and was sent a new Hub 2 Router which I believe is the same as the BT router.I have tried most of the day to reconfigure my Sonos Beam to the router via Wi-Fi but get as the last stage of the setup after I enter my Wi-Fi password and then get an error that Sonos can connect to the router. I have  changed the settings ad per the support page but no joy. (Eg disabled 5Mhz mode, ensured spa, and the correct channels are enabled.I have then tried the old router and reconfigured the Sid and password to match the new router but get the same issue.  I have tried configuring from iPad and iPhone. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

To start, I have scoured the internet and nothing has worked to resolve this issue. Existing Sonos speakers working through app.Older Connect on hand and on network. Krell integrated receiver. Thiel speakers. Trying to connect Thiel speakers through Krell amp and connect to Sonos. Nothing except a buzzing. Tried multiple inputs etc. Help!!

I’m hoping to use 4 Sonos ceiling speakers (2 front, 2 rear) with one Sonos amp for tv viewing in a 21’ w x 18’ d room.I know many folks normally don’t recommend only using ceiling speakers for tv viewing because it’s odd to have sound coming from a different direction than to tv, but does trueplay and the virtual center channel in a larger room eliminate that problem?

Hi, I have 2.1 system connected to a Denon PMA 30 amplifier that I want to connect to all the Sonos speakers we have, so I’m looking at the Sonos port.However one difficulty is we also have a projector that connects to the amp by Bluetooth when we use it (so not permanently)Is it likely that we’re going to suffer from lots of input shenanigans going this route, or can the Sonos Port switch inputs itself on an amp?

I have just added a pair of Era 300s to my Arc + Sub to replace the Ones I was using.  I have just tried a 7.1.4 test tone via an App on my Apple TV and when testing the up firing speakers both the front (Arc) and rear (Era 300) play at the same time when playing either the front or rear Atmos/ceiling speaker test tone (right or left). These should work independently right? Or do they operate in a .2 configuration rather than a .4 setup?

I am based in the UK and have just had FTTP installed. Part of setting up the Erro router, supplied by my ISP, was to reconnect my Sonos equipment. The Play 5, Play 3, Roam and Arc soundbar  are all connected, over wifi and are working. I have a Sonos sub and 2 Play 1’s that according to then Sonos app are connected over wifi, and in fact are working, as they produce sound.However in the networking listings from the Erro it shows that the Play 5, Play 3, Roam and Arc soundbar have a full wifi signal, (excellent). However the listing for the Sonos sub and Play 1’s are “greyed out”. I am correct in thinking that as the Arc has a full wifi connection and it is “bonded” to the sub and Play 1’s, it causes this issue? Not a major issue for me, just trying to understand the logic behind it all. The sound for the Lounge surround sound system is awesome.

Hello. One of my Sonos play1 speakers is constantly dropping off. The other speakers continue playing but the play1 will drop out then come back for 10 seconds 30 seconds it’s always different and then drop off again. I had this issue a few times over the years and I’ve been able to fix it by resetting the system or just waiting and eventually it would work itself out. Does anyone know any other ways to quickly fix this issue? Wi-Fi router internet provider are all the same. Nothing changed on my end that I know of to cause this problem. I just cannot add any music services, the buttons are greyed out. Error message appears “this feature is not available”.  

Hi,I run the Sonos S2 app on my Macbook (current OS Ventura 13.4, but problem has persisted since Monterey) and it’s connected to a Belkin Thunderbolt dock, which provides network connectivity via ethernet.When I stop work in the evening, I power down and disconnect the dock.The next morning, when I power up the dock and wake up the macbook, the Sonos App goes unresponsive and I have to force quit.Anyone seen this?

Trying to set up my new Sonos beam g2 the unit cant find my wifi 

Hello, Sometimes when I listen to my stereo pair through connect and two ones, sound only plays through one speaker. When i switch to spotify music comes through both speakers!Example - just had a record on, first side of record was fine, flipped it over and sound only played through one side. Switched to spotify and music was in both speakers.

all of a sudden my sonos amp is automatically turning itself down  . i turn it up , and it will just go right back to 15. I submitted a diagnosis # 1231294586. 

Hello All,Components:Amps (3 on ethernet connection)  Move (wifi) One (wifi)I have tried:Disconnect Router 180 seconds Plug in router Add 1 Amp - tested fine Add 2nd AmpResult:Network locks up. Removing 2nd Amp and the network comes back. 

Have an old Philips tv without optical or ARC port is there a way to connect to Beam 2?

My Sonos one was working fine but after I turned it off it will now not turn on and I can’t find it on my system. When I plug it in the red light shows for 5 seconds but then goes off. What do I do? 

Attempting to downgrade my Play 3 to be s1 compatible.  Sonos is “finding” a product that I don't even have…...I only have a Play 3 speaker.

I accidently added 30 tracks to my favourites on Deezer. I can see no way of removing all of them at once, only right clicking, select info, select delete from favourite tracks then confirm deletio9n. That’s four clicks per track so 40 clicks to remove 10 tracks - crazy!If anyone can show me a quicker way I would appreciate it.

Looks the names of my zones have been changed somehow in my sonos profile and it is causing some rooms to play music and one of my rooms I can’t get music to play. I looked at my setup and it looks like the names are different from what was originally set up I need to redo my configuration and start from scratch.  What is the best way to do that?

I’m experiencing audio dropouts, only when grouping rooms together. My setup consists of 8 different “rooms” - most of which are standalone Play Ones, then a room with Playbar, Sub, and two rear Play Ones.  Then another room with Beam Gen 2, Sub, and two rear Play Ones. All of these are connected to SonosNet via Boost. I also have a Sonos Move speaker that is connected via Wi-Fi (since that one won’t connect to SonosNet).   The dropouts started after I introduced two new Play Ones. All speakers work fine individually, but only have dropouts once I start grouping. I had this issue last year, but it stopped once I introduced the Boost to get all speakers on SonosNet (versus being connected to my Eero mesh network directly).  I tried changing the SonosNet channel, but still having dropouts. There is no rhyme or reason to which speakers the dropouts occur. It has been happening on any of them once they are grouped.  I submitted a diagnostic. Can anybody from Sonos review and help me resolv

I can turn it on and off using voice control.  It will not adjust the volume up or down. I have changed the voice assistant and tried Sonos, alexa and Google.  Volume won't work with any of them.
