hello all can they be used as left and right channel?

I have older play 1, 3, and 5 using s1 app.  Replacing play 5 with a new 5.  Can I put the new speaker on S2 and run separate systems?  Older speakers won’t work with s2.

HiBefore I buy, if I connect to the line in on one of a link pair of Era 100s will sound be outputted on  both speakers?also could I also stream the same audio for that line in to other speakers on the same network? many thanks 

I have Sonos and it is on its own network yet guests are now accessing my system from the guest network. If they are on Wi-Fi they can access my Sonos system. This is new and something I can’t figure out how to fix.  any help is appreciated. I have a netgear orbi system.

Dear Support,I bought my Sonos Roam a few days ago, and it has been a huge disappointment.So far, I have only used it at home on wifi, but it regularly drops the connection after 1-2 hours, which can only be solved by rebooting and reconnecting. Tried the factory reset but the error persists.In addition, I have a Beam on LAN and a Symfonisk light on WI-Fi, they work relatively flawlessly.Any tips to troubleshoot the problem? Thanks,David

I have a pretty common and simple system with a Beam (Gen2) and an LG OLED C2. Connected using the supplied HDMI Cable, “eARC Support” is enabled, and “Digital Sound Output” is set to “Pass Through” in WebOS.Unfortunately, I’m experiencing a lip sync delay of about 200ms where to audio plays before the video in movies/tv shows with Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 audio streams. Dolby Atmos (over DD+) seems to be okay, however. I’m using the internal TV Apps for streaming. It doesn’t matter which ones I use (Netflix, YouTube, Plex) I always get the same delay.When I disable eArc the delay seems to be gone but I lose Atmos support on the Xbox Series X.What I don’t want to do is manually set the delay using the Sonos App (which by the way +5 wouldn’t be enough) every time I watch a DD or DD+ movie or disable/enable eARC every time I use the Xbox. I was under the impression delay issues would be solved by some sort of lip sync correction layer in the HDMI signal spec of HDMI-e

Hi there, I have a Sonos Amp and Outdoor speaker setup. The Amp is in a lift space, and not that accessible. Everything works great through the Sonos app.I would like the option to play music through line in, without hardwiring to the Amp. I've seen a wireless transmitter (the type used for Subs/ surrounds) and wondered whether this would work?One receiver plugged into the Amp and the transmitter plugged into an iPad, for example?Any support or other ideas would be appreciated.The real desire is to play videos from YouTube through the Sonos speakers with no lag.Thanks,David.

I have OMADA network (tp-link) , I have 3 productsthose one who connect with 2.4G always keep disconnect from SONOS app. I always have to reconnect via router app. to let them show again in SONOS app.They never disconnect from network. ANYONE plese help me to solve this?

Hi maybe its me bur i have set up my roam on the home wifi - its listed on my sonos account etc  just been camping tried to connect to it nothing clicked on airplay from my phone does not see the device came home back on wifi and its appearing as a device but only on wifinot really a roam if you can not take it out and about..so what am i doing wrong - ive gone through the set process…

initially i bought 7.1.2 Sonos system and now i am upgrading to 7.1.4 (era 300) , should i sale Sonos one rear speakers or there is a probability that in future will be able to use them with 7.1.4.?

Just purchased 2 sonos 100 speakers with combo Ethernet adaptors. They are still defaulting to wifi and when I look at the line in settings they are greyed out. How do I change from WiFi to Ethernet? 

Roam is part of a System with our Sonos One SL speakers. We took Roam on vacation and, even though my phone (where my music is) was connected to the rental's WiFi, the Sonos App kept looking for the entire System. I could see the Roam but because the App couldn't connect to the One speakers, the Roam wouldn't play.How do I disconnect the Roam from the System before our next (rapidly approaching) vacation?

Hi, We have approx. 20 sonos ports installed at one of our site. facing issue with the sonos ports gets unconnected as you can see in the attached picture.all sonos are wired. some of the other areas also sometimes behaves same like shows not connected.Please advise.Here is diagnostic number 1399916880.

If you’re using an AMP in dual mono mode, is the left/right balance adjustment still enabled so that if you wanted one of your mono channels/zones to be louder than the other one, you could actually accomplish that using the balance slider?

I have just mastered how to play my own music playlist from my mobile android phone via bluetooth to my Sonas move. How do I get the songs to Crossfade ? I can see how to do it on the sonas app on my laptop , but this doesnt seem to transfer over to the mobile appThanks 

My Move recently quit playing music on Amazon via Alexa. When I ask Alexa to play a song title it states unable to access Amazon Music or something to that effect. Alexa will reply with weather, questions, etc just not music. The Amazon and Sonos app are up to date and the Sonos skill is active in the Alexa app. Can anyone please provide me with an answer. I’m adding a pair of Era 300’s as rear surrounds (to a Sonos Arc + Sub). Our couch is against the back wall (has to be that way given the room). There are also window wells on the back wall (on either side of the couch). The wells are approximately 10 inches deep, 30 inches wide, and 23 inches tall. From a room aesthetics point of view it would be ideal to use them (as opposed to drilling/mounting on the rear wall).How “bad” would it be to set the Era 300’s in those wells (roughly centered)? See attached picture.FWIW, I have them installed there now and to me it sounds good (i.e., sound is directional/immersive). Just wondering if I’m potentially trading off much better sound given this placement.

When I select “Add music services”, I get the spinning wheel but no list of music services ever appears.  This is using the mobile app on either an iPad with iPadOS 16.6 or an iPhone with iOS 16.5.  Sonos app is version 11.9, S1.

Good morning all. Last night I installed the first 2 of what I expect to be many Sonos components in our new place, a beam and sub. I've been browsing the forums and I am happy to see such an active group. I'm sure there will be many questions across time I will have for you all. I installed and set up the components and connected to my pandora account with no issues other than ones discussed here already.  The room sounds great. I installed the app on my wife's phone and it immediately found the system and hooked up using my login credentials. Here's the question. She has her own pandora account and will want that running when I'm not around.  Is the fix to this as simple as reinstalling the ap and having her create her own Sonos login to be able to set her own credentials to log into her pandora account or am I over thinking this?We will be quickly adding a couple of amps with outdoor speakers, another sound bar on a second TV and speakers in a rec room along with satellites for the

I currently have an Arc, (2) Sub Gen3’s, and (2) Era 300’s as rear channels.  My question is, can I add 2 more Era 300’s as front channels…(front/left and front right)?
