I have installed the Sonos S2 app and connected my Amp, that works fine. But then I try to connect my Play 5, and I’m told I need to use the S1 app.
So I download the S1 app, and run factory reset on the Play 5. The app (S1) now detects the Play 5, but tells me both systems (Play 5 and Amp) can be controlled by the S2 app, but it needs an update..
Next I open the S2 app, and try to add the Play 5, and I’m told the Play 5 can only be controlled by the S1 app.
This seems like a “catch 22” situation. I need to update the Play 5 to connect to one of the apps, but I can’t connect before I’ve updated it.
Any advice?
