My sonos soundbar is since recently having issue’s with heavy bass. Wondering if this can be caused by a software update, don’t think that the woofer is blown up as most of the bass sounds ok. Only when playing certain movies I get a “funky” sound which is most likely the best described as Bass distortion. 

I have 6 Sonos speakers in 4 different rooms as well as 2 units outside that I use to listen to the TV playing in the living room. After turning on the TV, I have to go the Sonos app and click on "Everywhere" in order to activate all the speakers. Each speaker is set to the volume that is best used in that space. For years after my Sonos was installed, I could tell Alexa to change the volume on the Sonos in the room I was in, and as long as the other speakers did not hear the command, they did not change volume. A while ago, after working with Sonos techs on an unrelated problem, I was no longer able to do this. When I tell Alexa to change the volume in one room, it changes all the speakers. If I am washing dishes and want to quickly change volume to hear something, I now have to dry my hands, go find my phone, open the app, get to the right location, and manually change that speaker's individual volume. Hi All...hope there’s some help out there.I have had Sonos Play, moved away for a while, but back now with Era100 and Deezer as my subscribed streaming service. I have Sonos voice control (SVC) activated. SVC recognises and plays, say, The Ink Spots but will not recognise and play Slim Whitman. This is one example, there are many - it will not find Shostakovich Romance The Gadfly or Opus 97a - none of these trigger a response through Deezer, even though I have manually found the music I wanted through these keywords in the app search, and played them. What gives with this? I have a perfectly well rounded English voice, with no regional accent and am speaking clearly and close enough. I can elicit a response for Goldfrapp, Orbital, The Ink Spots etc, but not, it seems, the more rarely requested? Any thoughts?The American rejection voice is also becoming a little tedious I have to say, with today’s AI it would be nice to have a Kate Blanchett telling me to find what I want in the Sonos A

I got rid of my Gen 1 Play 5 to resolve an issue with SMB1, and once I upgraded to S2 I started getting this error.  About ready to walk away from the whole thing.  Please help me get back to a system that worked beautifully for years until last summer. 1 - Gen 2 Play 53 - Play 1’sconnecting to a QNAP NAS.  Never saw this error until I updated to S2.  I dont have any playlists on Sonos, only within Youtube music and locally on my computer within Apple Music.

I have two somance speakers connected to a Sonos AMP. The AMP is also connected to my TV. Occasionally, the volume drops where I don’t hear anything until I raise volume to 85+. It happens using th television or jus streaming music.  I have several other systems and this only happens in one room.  Any thoughts?

HiHas anyone use two Sonos Move speaker as a stereo system?  Or seen a review of such system they can share with me?  I have a Move and am thinking about buying another one to use with it as stereo, before they are discontinued.many thanks

Beyond thrilled to receive the new Sonos Arc. True played my room and I have loudness on as well connected to LG B8 using Tidal and Spotify. Most of the sound range is phenomenal, aside from the bass. At even half volume the woofers are extremely muddy and sound terrible. Not sure if this is because I have under two hours of use but I wasn’t expecting to have to break-in the speaker. I own set of speakers next to it in the same room (KEF LS50W) and the difference is night and day. There have also been posts on Reddit regarding this issue. It is interesting given no reviewers have mentioned this issue but more than a few recipients have. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Turning loudness off helps but it is disappointing for such a highly anticipated product. 

How do you connect to the Move 2 via line-in or by ethernet within Windows 11? I know others are using the Move 2 as their desktop/mobile speaker. The point is to get better audio quality as opposed to Bluetooth. As far as I know, there is no “Airplay” equivalent - the Sonos 2 app for Windows is complete garbage (don’t know what the hell the vision they had but it wasn’t the right direction).

Does the Move 2 support Dolby Atmos?  Can a pair of Move 2s be used as surround sound rear speaks with the Arc?

Using the S2 controller on a Windows 11 PC I can connect to Sonos Radio, Amazon Music, Spotify, and TuneIn, but not iHeartRadio, Plex, Pandora, or AccuRadio.  The ones I can’t connect to tell me “Unable to browse music” and attempts to reauthorize tell me to check the network connection.  The controller on another Windows 11 computer and all the mobile devices on the house’s LAN access all these services fine.  It’s just the one PC, which worked until recently.  I reinstalled the controller on the PC, rebooted the router and power cycled all the Sonos devices in the house and checked for software updates all to no success.  I’d welcome any ideas!

We had a power interruption, following which my router rebooted normally. I was able to do all normal connections to the internet from laptops, phones, etc. However, when I tried to play a radio station on my Sonos system (this was several hours after the power outage) “unable to add to queue”. I then tried playing a track from my Music Library. Again, “unable to add to queue”. I rebooted the router and verified that my wifi was functioning normally. The above problems persisted on Sonos. All lights on speakers were white (normal). I unplugged the speakers, waited 15 seconds, plugged them back in. After the lights on the speakers turned white, I tried again. No success. Note that I tried both from the Sonos app on my phone and from the app on my laptop. After a few minutes, I was finally able to get Sonos to play a track from my Music Library. After that, I was able to get the radio station to play. So, the advice to reboot the Sonos speakers is relevant. It’s unfortunate that the erro

Where can I download the invoice for my Sonos Move 2 purchase?

My Eras 100 is working well, also as direct windows bluetooth device. Hovewer it makes a very loud connect / disconnect sound whenever its gaining or losing connection and we are disturbed by this in the entire house. It seems to happen randomly but is probably as I move the laptop around in the house. It would be nice to be able to disable this acknowledge sound and just rely on the blue/white light.

Mesh network with three nodes, I can control my system from the PC app but in the last week my phone app has quit finding my speakers.Reset routers, forgot the network in the Sonos app and rejoined it, worked for a day or so then after leaving the house wifi and returning it’s lost again.

Hello all, I have an Arc connected via eARC to a LG TV, an Apple TV and have added 2 Sonos Ones as surround speakers. What I’ve noticed is that DD5.1 content (streamed) is extremely vibrant and makes fantastic use of the surround speakers, whereas Atmos content (streamed) does not by comparison, the surround speakers seem to only output musical effects, but don’t seem to be part of the soundstage. Am I missing a setting, or is this expected?Thanks,Ian

J'ai téléchargé l'application Sonos et fait le nécessaire pour la connexion de la barre de son. L'application me propose une mise à jour, celle-ci s'effectue mais à la fin j'ai un message d'erreur 1001 m'indiquant un défaut de réseau. J'ai testé sur 3 réseau wifi différents et en Ethernet, le défaut est le même. J'ai également redémarré mon routeur et la Beam, même chose, impossible de finaliser la mise à jour de la barre de son. Quelqu'un aurait une solution, s'il vous plaît ? Merci d'avance !

Dear Sonos,First of all let me share some brief.I’m implementing Sonos system, Sonos port = 5 unit and Sonos AMP = 1 unit. Site network is using all managed switch mixed brand Aruba, HP and Zyxel. Using subnet /23 for 508 IP address. Using default vlan, just vlan 1 only, no trunk port uplink just access port. 2 rooms are install Sonos with different managed switch. All switch have no STP classic only have RSTP and MSTP If 1st room 5 Sonos port are connected with wired to managed switch and config RSTP seems working fine while another switch STP is disabled.My problem is.If turn on the 2nd room 1 Sonos AMP connected to managed switch with RSTP configured then whole network latency quite unstable and all Sonos seems unstable as well. I’ve adjust bridge priority that 1st room switch is root and 2nd room is bridge following STP concept but not help. Did IGMP snooping enabled not help.My Questions is.As mentioned above I did RSTP configure only 2 managed switch that all Sonos connected, In

First off let me say I’ve personally installed 4 or 5 Arc+Sub Gen 3 systems so I know what it should sound like and am aware what performance to expect from the sub. I’m Just not getting it on my system.My typical configuration is Arc + Connect: Amp (surrounds) + SubVery low output from the sub. Doesn’t matter the source (TV eARC, Airplay, or native music in Sonos app)To even hear it the slightest it had to be turned up to at least +8I’ve factory reset everything (Arc, Amp, & Sub) to no avail. So I tried an experiment. I removed the sub and amp from the Arc and made the Connect: Amp it’s own room. I connected the sub to it and WOW! You can feel the bass. It’s the way it should sound. So I go back in and create my surround setup again by connecting the sub back to the Arc and making the Connect: Amp the surrounds. Sub back to its old ways. Very low output. So the sub clearly works. It’s not placement, it’s not poor Wi-Fi. It works correctly with other Sonos products, just not with t

Hi - I am flying internationally later this week and want to take my One SL speaker. The airline states no product with a lithium battery over the following dimensions can be taken - 100 Watt hours or 2g lithium. Does anyone know the specs for the One SL battery? Thanks

I am planning to set up a 5.1 surround system for my TV. I have a Beam 2nd Gen a Play 3, a Play 5 2nd Gen and Connect Amp. For the rear speakers should I use my Connect Amp and a couple of speakers or buy a second hand Play 3  and have 2 Play 3s as my rear speakers ?

Is it possible to use the subwoofer output from a connect:amp as the “Sub” in a HT setup with the Beam?  I have my connect:amp connected to an active 3rd party sub but when I “add Sub” to the beam it isn't discovered. Thanks
