So i have several Sonos setups. I have a surround one SL pair, one play5 and a Beam plus One SL surround combined for tv. My iPad will let me airplay to all three setups but when i select any of the three setups on my iPhone (airplay sees them just fine) i get an Airplay passcode request.please don’t tell me to reboot or re setup the sonos devices because this was done multiple times and is annoying to do. it works perfectly fine on iPad but on iPhone it asks for passwords. I have no password requirement setup in AppleTV or on Airplay.Everything is setup on the same (and only) WiFi network available. And as said it all works fine on iPad why is airplay asking for passcode on iPad?

Hi Guys i have an open kitchen/living. The right of my era 300 (rear) is kinda in a corner while my left is open with only a wall at the back cause it basically in the midde of the room. It sounds the sound on the right (rear) is more dominant. Is there a solution to this ?

Hi All, My Sonos system previously had (2) amps and (1) one SL speaker and everything was working fine, (all items were hooked up wirelessly).  I did recently change my wireless provider but I reconnected all the devices with no issues.I added an additional one SL speaker to the system (total of 2 one SL speakers) and everything was working fine until one of my amps disappeared from the system shortly after adding the speaker. When I tried to factory reset the amp that disappeared, it keeps failing to connect to the network even through all the other Sonos devices are connected to the same network with no issues. I keep getting a message during set up that says “the connection to your Sonos Amp was lost.  Move your mobile device closer and make sure Sonos Amp is powered on.”  The amp and router are only about 5’ away from each other and the amp is obviously on during set up (my cell phone is also next to the amp during set up).  I tired to hard wire the amp with an ethernet cable but s

Hi everyone,I have a studio space with high ceilings, 10x7m size. I’m wanting to play immersive sound for yoga etc, and on other occasions use a projector for presentations, movies etc. The layout (using my current speakers) could be 4 x Era300 in each ceiling corner, working as mono and grouped, and I could use beam soundbar for the projector. Ideally I’d use my soundbar, sub and rear Era300s as a surround setup for movies, and then all speakers working as monos for immersive sound when playing music. If I set up the surround as above for movies, will the extra Era300s in the ‘front left and front right’ positions try to play along with the movie (but out of sync) if they’re grouped so I can use them all together for immersive music?Or is the only way to have the sub/beam for movies and grouped mono Era300 x 4 for music? Seems unfortunate to sacrifice the rear surrounds during movies and likewise sacrifice the sub and beam for music playback! Or is there a way…Sorry if that’s hard to

Seems pretty simple but I’m not finding the answer.I have a Sonos Amp(firmware current), I have 4 external speakers connected to it and work just fine. I want to add the an outdoor sub. I have a OSD Forza 10 10" Outdoor Subwoofer with 300W of Power and High-Impact Molded Enclosure, IP66-rated Weather-Resistant. I;m pretty certain the SONOS AMP doesn’t power a sub, I will need an external amp, so I purchased a Nobsound G2 PRO Hi-Fi 300W Subwoofer Power Amplifier Mono Channel Class D SUB Audio Amp. I used an RCA Y cable from the SONOS Amp to the Nobsound, but no Sub output. Any suggestions other than buying an $800 sonos sub? I want this one, it is outdoor and works great off my Onkyo stereo. Sad this is so complicated with Sonos.

I have nine sonos 2nd gen devices and they never work properly as a net. Most of the time some stutter or do not play. I’m sick and tired of having to reset my router to try and fix this for a few minutes before they fail again.There’s no point in having great sound quality that doesn’t play..

I recently purchased a new Amp and wired speakers and ethernet wired to my network hub in the house.  My TV as well as other electronics are also attached to this network hub.  My TV is nowhere near this new AMP, so an HDMI connection is not practical. Occasionally it would be nice to broadcast the sound from the TV to speakers in other rooms.  Since everything is network connected (ethernet), is there a way to get TV sound from these speakers? thx 

Since updating to iOS 17, both my move, and my roam speakers pulsate the sound, and do not act properly. How do I correct this problem?

How can I add the music stored on my iPhone to my Play5 sonos?  I have pandora and Apple Music but want to select from library stores in my phone. 

We have a set of Sonos AMP in a house and experience that one of the units is disconnecting the local network. It is all cabeled (LAN).What can the reason be and is there anything I con do to make it more stable ?

I have a Beam Gen 2 connected to a Roku TCL TV. The Beam blocks the IR sensor of the TV. I followed the instructions for “Remote Control Setup”, but the TV only responds to the volume up / down / mute commands from the remote. The TV does not respond to play / pause / menu toggles.What do I need to do for the Beam to pass through these other commands?I’m hoping for a solution other than “raise the TV”, which is what I’ll do if nothing else works. We just built our dream house and I pre-wired two in wall speakers in our great room with an amp in the basement utility room.  I successfully set up the Beam and Sub combo in our great room and they work fine over wifi, but when I tried adding the amp as a rear surround the app kept failing with the error message “Surrounds couldn't be added. Choose an unused Sonos Amp in Settings > System to finish setup.”After multiple attempts i found several discussions saying the amp had to be physically near by the beam for surround (news to me) so i brought it up into the great room to test and sure enough it came right up and the app paired it as a rear surround.  I took it back downstairs and sure enough it fell back off with ?+? for the rear surrounds.  I found some more discussions that said to wire the beam and amp to ethernet if i needed to have greater distance.  I did have an ethernet available by the beam so plugged it in to test and plugged in the amp and sure enough they popped ri

Can I pair a Sonos Move with a Sonos Move 2 to create a stero pair? If so how do you do it?

I have a custom service to connect to a remote subsonic server, per the instructions on subsonic’s websiteThe remote server moved and I need to update the address in the Sonos service. I can’t for the life of me find a way to edit the service, other than deleting it and recreating. Seems absurd there wouldn’t be a way to edit settings, is this hidden somewhere?

HiI’ve successfully setup the Sonos App (latest) to my iPad, but when trying to setup on my iPhone and am consistently told to make sure that the phone is connected to the network, which it is. I’ve rebooted everything with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. 

Please can anyone help. I keep getting a Sonos update failure, after putting in the correct password and having checked the System setting app management for Sonos is on? I really do not want to have to go through the whole uninstall/reinstall unless i have to!Thanks.

How can I use two Era 100 speakers in two separate rooms (kitchen and family room) together but without stereo pairing ?

Most of the questions I see posted are about where to mount the wall mounts. What I would like to know now that I have the speakers level horizontally is there a way to adjust them vertically? In other words they appear to sag where the front is lower than the rear? By the way the Dolby Atmos is absolutely mind blowing!

I’m in the US and own a sonos move. I’ve been trying to enable Alexa on the app, but it isn’t even offered as an option. No google assistants either. The only thing that shows is the Sonos voice assistant.Any ideas would be appreciated 

Are the Trueplay settings preserved for each speaker if the Sonos app is reinstalled on Android?
