I’ve seen a number of posts related to this but am not sure they address my situation. I have a pretty straightforward system with three Connect :Amps ( 3 zones). All hardwired. 6 years old. About two months ago, sound started cutting out/ in when playing music but not tv through line in. Any suggestions? Thanks 

Hi All, Due to heat from fireplace I am forced to place Arc 10cm from the ceiling. I can tilt the arc forward. Will it be ok?  Br Rasmus  

I have a sonos connect that keeps disconnecting from the sonos app and our network. I go in and factory reset it, reconnect it to our sonos account, play music on our hard wired speakers for maybe a minute or two and all or a sudden the sonos connect can not be found and the music stops. Any suggestions for how to fix? I did send a diagnostic ticket to sonos 1066180950. 

I have bought  New speakers and Updated to S2. One of the speakers is now deemed in compatibleand it blocks updates. Also I can’t disconnect it since my original app now immediately transfer me to S2

I had the Era100 and the Move grouped and now I don’t have that option. Did something change?

My new Roam doesn’t make any sound. The app says it’s connected, and when I play a song, the small gif of playing music (in the app) indicates music is playing (it actually is if I add another speaker) but on its own, the roam is silent. The lights are on, it has 25% charge, but it just doesn’t play. It’s on the same network as all my other speakers. Any ideas please? Thanks 

Do grills come in wood-like colors for these speakers or only in white?

Hi. I’m moving. At my current tv location I have a beam bonded with two ones and a sub. At my new location it had wired passive speakers as ceiling rears and wiring for front speakers. I’ve bought a Sonos amp and trying to determine the best combo. Can I blend my current Sonos setup with the passive speakers using the amp? If so, any recommended setups? 

My system has 2 play3, 2 Play1 and a PlaybarI have set the 2 Play 3 as stereo speakers and the Play 1’s as surround.When watching a movie I am getting no sound from the Play 3’s but the Playbar and Play 1’s are fine.Playing music the stereo plays fine through the Play 3’sI guess this is correct, but how can I add the Play 3’s to the home cinema system so that the sound that play 3’s give out sound from the film?

I’m running Sonos S1 speakers from my MacBook Pro with Qfinder Pro Nas which needs SMB1. QNAP upgraded so that SMB1 is not default. Anyone know how I can change to SMB1?  Any advice gladly received.RegardsIan j

Is there a way for my Sonos iOS app to send notification alerts when the Roam or Move battery is at 50%, 25%, 10% or even just ‘low battery’?

Hi Folks👋 Orginal Sonos stands for Era 100/300: Are they simmilar,only different is shape of attachment of base to speaker.So in reality i can purcase what so ever stand(100 or 300) and i could just change the top depending on if i got the 100’s or the 300’s….you follow me?For example in my case,i got the 100’s on stands. I will purcase the 300’s but if i purcase the stamds i can just remove the top part from the 300-stand over to my allready mounted 100’s?Then my next question will be: If they match as in Q1⬆️,why does not Sonos offering this item? Need to buy the complete kit with the stands.Or does the “Sonos wall-mount” fit on a stand as well(problem solved?). 

Hi. I am running my music library on a USB drive connected to my router fixed to SMB1. This is to overcome the acknowledged issue with SMB2 and SMB3 that has impacted some users with USB or NAS drives. In my case, the library failed to index when I was using the default SMB2 protocol.I’d rather not use SMB1 any longer than I have to.We’ve just had another software update to 15.7.1 with ‘bug fixes’ in the release notes, so I have no way of knowing if the issue has been resolved yet.Is there any update on this issue? It’s been a long time since SMB support was uplifted and this issue arrived.Thanks.

Had a brief power outage and now 1 of my play ones which were set in stereo mode will not connect, unpaired them tried factory reset, play 1 is now just sat with constant white/orange flashing light ?? I have unplugged everything and reset router, can not get past orange/white light ? 

Sonos is asking me to reauthorise Spotify over and over again even after reauthorising. Any ideas??

Sonos move is not bluetooth pairing . Blue light is flashing but sonos device is not detecteble in any of my device. Kindly assist

I'm using ATV with YTTV and the Sonos app says sound is in DD 5.1 when watching NFL in multiview. In reading other forums, YTTV is only stereo in multiview, and it's clear this is the case when putting my ear to the surrounds. When switching to an individual game rather than Multiview, 5.1 kicks in.So why does the Sonos app say it's 5.1 when the multiview broadcast is stereo? This makes me doubt Sonos' software recognition.

 I know I’m not the first to have this problem but would be grateful for any suggestions in this forum on how it might possibly be fixed. Lost all my playlists due to being advised that I needed to factory reset components as the only way to switch them to a new wifi network (not moving house, just upgrading TV services which for some reason needs a new network). Two Playbars not reset as I can’t unplug them (wiring considerations) so my question is, if I was able to disconnect the new router and reinstal the old network, might I be able to retrieve the playlists via the devices which weren’t reset? Very annoyed to lose 5+ years of carefully curated playlists….

We use our Sonos Playbar on a shelf in an entertainment stand with a LG OLED TV on top using its support stand. We have always used the Playbar in the “horizontal” position and use the universal remote to control volume.  Recently suddenly the remote stopped working. But when I move the Playbar into the “vertical” position within the furniture unit (i.e. with the word Sonos showing as if it were to be wall mounted) it works just fine. This leads me to believe that one of the IR receivers is working fine and the other does not for some reason. Any easy way to trouble shoot or fix this?

I have the Sonos Beam Gen 1 and an Apple TV 4K. I connected my Apple TV remote to the soundbar and it was working fine and then it just stopped working. I was able to reconnect the Apple TV remote with the Sonos app but now when I want to lower the volume the volume gets louder. Both the volume up and down increase the volume and I don’t know how to fix it. If anyone has had this problem can you please let me know how to fix it! TIA :)

Hi,I’ve a sonos port connected to my amp, this last while I’ve noticed the level on my left speaker keeps dropping of when i switch it on. if i change the line-out level from variable to fixed and then back it’s ok. Anybody know why and is there a way to avoid this happening.thanks for any help provided.

Planning a new home and figuring out how to spec out my dining room and kitchen area. It’s a relatively open area, and I’m thinking to have ear level sounds for a more immersive music experience for dinner/with guests, whereas a more background music/space filling function for the kitchen area. Based on this I’m thinking of two play 5’s in the corners in green, and two sonance in ceiling speakers in blue. Would this be recommended or does anyone have any better suggestions? Would appreciate any advice, first time sonos builder!  

Is it possible to connect 1 Move2 with 1 Era100 (the new Internal-External Kit), to do a stereo pair?

Hi,Just bought a sonos arc and paired with an old LG UH770V.  Connected via the HDMI arc port and getting sound from the arc.  However nothing I do gets anything better than Dolby 5.1.  No films on netflix play in anything other than 5.1 (I have the premium subscription.)  The Tv has no dolby atmos settings but does have a Dolby digital plus setting (or auto).  On my laptop, Netflix offers spatial audio so must be something in my TV/soundbar set up preventing this.   Any ideas?  Thanks

Is there a way to remote disconnect a specific speaker or music service in order to turn off an alarm while I’m traveling (ie not home on the network)? I’m trying to figure out how to spare my poor neighbors in Brooklyn from the alarm currently going off in the apartment. I’ve truly had it with this system…
