Sonos app on iphone disconnected when I go to use, but reconnects fine about 10s later

I have used Sonos speakers for years with no problems.  However, in recent months I find that every time I open the app on my iPhone, the sonos app is disconnected from the system so I cannot control it.  Within about 10s it reconnects fine without me having to do anything.  My wife (also using an iphone) doesn’t experience any such problems.  I’ve not knowingly changed any settings and the only app changes would be standard app updates and iOS updates.  Any help much appreciated

Check your phone’s power management, if it is pausing the App in the background it can’t stay connected.
