Is Teueplay available on the iPhone 14 ProMax?  It says it’s not supported, but I see something’s on here about trueplay working in the iPhone 14.   Couple it be iOS 17?  How long will it take Sonos to update if that’s the case. 

Hello there! 'm in the process of renovating my house (full ren of a single story house, down to studs, full framing accessible, still weeks away from any sheetrock / drywall going up). After weeks of reading and debating (largely with myself), I'm deciding to tap collective knowledge here...I choose Sonos for my simple audio system; I'm planning to have everything run to a network rack in the pantry, somewhat in central position in the house: Room 1: open space kitchen / living / dining: 900SF - new Sonos Amp ; thinking of using an in wall volume control so that I can have different volumes in the kitchen vs. the dining area Room 2: small bedroom / office 145 SF - old Sonos Connect:Amp (but S2 compatible) Room 3: main bedroom 190 SF - old Sonos Connect:Amp (but S2 compatible) Questions I've got: what are you recommendations in terms of in-ceiling speakers for each room? Model? Size? I'm open to spending a bit more for the Room 1 since most time will be spent there - max would be $

Hi: Is it a good idea to upgrade from 15.5 to 15.8.1?I only have a beam2 and sub mini and I like the way it sounds on 15.5.I usually hear that sometimes there are problems with updates: lower sound, updates that don't finish, etc.I usually always upgrade but I don't know if 15.8.1 can improve the "simple" system I have.Thanks. 

Hi, I have a sonos home theatre system using a playbar, sub ans two play:1’s. It has been working fine for several years until last week when the playbar suddenly reports a weak connection to wifi causing the system to drop out.I know the the wifi signal in my lounge is great everywhere and especially where the playar is as the tv, blueray and sky boxes have strong wifi connections. I’m suspicious that the playbar wifi receiver is failing so I have obtained a wifi repeater to make sure the platbar is getting a very strong signal. The playbar seems to prefer to connect to my router’s wifi rather than the repeater’s though. I find the sonos app really poor for configuration as it decides for itself what to connect to not giving the user any control. Any suggestion?

If I purchased Apple Music before I started using the streaming service can I play it on Sonos?

I am contemplating changing my LED TV which is located on a TV cabinet for a projector which would be mounted from the Ceiling.This would mean repositioning my Beam due to no longer using a cabinet which is located on the floor.Can the Beam be mounted on a separate wall to that of the projector and the projector screen and slightly out of view to the seating ? or does it need to be mounted on the same wall as the screen ?

I know it won’t pair Bluetooth but that doesn’t matter to me. But I would like to set up a stereo pair for use in my backyard. A related question: Could I set up a Move 1 and 2 as surrounds with my Beam 2?I understand if it’s possible I’d have to go through set up procedures whenever I change from one to the other, but that’s fine since it won’t be frequent. 

I recently ordered a replacement Outdoor speaker. The replacement only had two wire terminals. Then I checked and the existing had four.  It will not function with just the two but I do not see a product with four wire terminals? 

Back again with my questions….and today it goes like this:  There was a little bird flying pass my ears who mention something bout the Sonos Ray could be used as a surround-speaker and intentionally it could be placed in a vertical position. And that somehow COULD produce the “missing” up-fireing speaker in a Beam G2/Arc config. Of course you need two Ray’s like any other surround-speaker if you wondered.Is this possible?

My system is constantly losing connection with Amazon, despite the fact I was quite happily using it the day before 🤷

Can Sonos Playbar volume be controlled with an Amazon Firestick? I suspect not because the stick is Bluetooth and the Playbar isn’t, but I thought that as the stick controls TV volume and the Playbar is connected to the TV, then there should be a way around it. I’ve also asked on the Amazon forum

In the last two weeks, my app freezes whenever I try to adjust any alarm.I can toggle an alarm off or on, but cannot adjust the alarm, delete and alarm or create a new alarm.Would prefer not to “reboot devices” as we have many installed in hard to reach locations.Happens on multiple iOS devices, so it’s not a phone storage issue.

My sonos one alarm keeps glitching, it’s set to just the standard chime and when it plays it just intermittently cuts out whilst playing the alarm? I’ve turned the speaker on and off multiple times but it’s only been doing this very recently. No other issues with any functions at all.

Hi,  My Sonos Roam does not respond to my Alexa commands when I request a specific podcast. I had this issue previously so set a fixed IP for the Roam.If I speak to my Alexa devices and ask them to play on my Sonos speakers (Symfonisk and Roam) it does this no problem, so I suspect there is an issue with Sonos/Alexa integration NOT the network...  

So Ive been having issues where my sound cuts in and out on  my 300s when paired with my arc and sub in stereo mode.   It was recommended to me by someone who works at best buy to buy a sonos boost and that should fix the connectivity issue.  I later read online that if you plug in a speaker to the router itll do the same.  So Im wondering whats going to work the best.

I used to use Tidal and it worked fine. I switched to another streaming service for a while but left Tidal in the Sonos list of services. Yesterday I resubscribed to Tidal and it worked fine. Today it will not stream to Sonos. I have removed Tidal from the list and tried to re-add it but get an error message "something went wrong". Having read some other answers  I have checked my Tidal login details and changed the password but cannot add Tidal to the list of services. Any suggestions please? All other streaming is working. This applies to both phone and tablet (both Android).

Hi all, I have the Sonos 2.1 amp and want to add a sub woofer to the Bose 251 outdoor environmental speakers.The Bose speakers are not wireless and on the back of the amp there is a single rca plug labeled sub. So do I need a passive or powered sub to connect to this amp? 🤔 Also any suggestions for an outdoor sub would be awesome!ThanksPhil

Hello!  we are planning to install 4 speakers ( 2 stereo pairs ) to  private gym. There is going to be between 100 to 200 users and is possible to use system by their own sonos app without registering and if they wanna play all music from Spotify or Apple Music is this possible? 

I have a simple home theatre setup consisting of a Beam Gen 2 and a pair of Symfonisk speakers which I’m happy with for TV and music streaming. Now I’m thinking of adding a pair of Era 100s connected to a turntable to replace my old analog HiFi setup.My question is how will the Era 100s interface with the existing setup? I’m planning to position the Era 100s as a traditional stereo pair in front of the listening position and was wondering if the turntable input to the Eras could also play through the Beam and the Symfonisk speakers simultaneously?Also, would the Era 100s be able to ‘join’ the existing home theatre setup not as surrounds (I’d still use the Symfonisk pair for surround sound), but as front left and right speakers either side of the Beam?Finally, when streaming music, can the Beam, Symfonisk and Era 100s work together simultaneously?Thanks in advance for any answers

Hi there,I posted about a month ago that my Roam was losing contact with my Sonos system and finally it wouldn’t connect at all. I was given a few things to try, like resetting, recharging etc. All I get from it when I try to recharge it is the orange light. When it was sitting on the wireless recharger there wasn’t any light that came on. So I used the original cable with a wall charger and I got the orange light. The button on the Roam doesn’t do anything. Right from day one that button seemed really shallow. Almost flush with the body of the speaker. And when I first got it I felt like I was pressing the button too much. But I think I used it for about a year and I kept it on the wireless charger in my bedroom. In the summertime I’d put it in the top of my backpack and take it outside. I’m in a wheelchair and the backpack is on the back of my chair. I’d take it outside on my patio and I usually wander around my big yard, picking weeds or working on the garden. Or I’d just sit back a

Hi just out of the blue my sonos five keeps jumping , it was perfectly working before . It’s Wi-Fi connection my set up has states it’s excellent . I have tried adjusting the audio delay options but still doesn’t work . 

I have an Era 100 speaker with a turntable connected via line in.  I group the era 100 with a Play1 and the records play through both speakers as expected (and sounds great).  Shortly after one side of the record ends, the 2 speakers become ungrouped.  This happens every time.   So, when I go to flip the record, I also have to re-group the 2 speakers again.  It is quite annoying :(
