I have two in-ceiling speakers hooked up to a connect:amp. The connect amp and the beam are both plugged into the router directly. I am able to successfully add the connect:amp as surrounds to the beam setup but I am not able to get any sound out of the surrounds. Any idea?

Hi, am looking to take some of my sonos speakers to another house for the day. Is it possible to disconnect these speakers from my setup, connect them to another wi-fi (they don’t have any Sonos products so will be just my own being used in the alternative location) and then re-connect them to my normal setup when I return home?  If so, is it as simple as taking the speakers and connecting them to the alternative wi-fi and then the same when I get home?

I have my Denon turntable connected to my Marantz SR5015 amp, and just connected my Sonos 5 via AC ports labeled CBL/SAT (per instructions any AC in ports should work) on back of Marantz. Have Phono chosen on input selector on the amp. The Sonos app sees and can play this line in set up, but no sound is coming out. I’ve double checked connections, and the Sonos five definitely does work with other music in. 

I still can’t see RadioPlayer available on Sonos yet it says the issue is resolved?

When I play Dvds The Sound Is Slower that The People On The Screen talking . How Do I Fix This . Im Using A Projector And A Dvd With audio cable To Line In on Sonos  

I have a Sonos ARC which I understand was recently updated to play DTS.  My TV is a Vizio PX75-G1 with ARC, not eARC, where Sonos is connected.  On Blu Ray and 4k Blu Ray discs the Sonos downgrades to stereo no matter what I try (including setting to TV to Auto, PCM, Bitstream, Dolby Digital).  My player is Oppo with audio output set to Auto.  

Hi - all of my other speakers, amps, and subs show up on my registered products list, and all the legacy devices show on the upgrades page except for one speaker, a Sonos 1. This speaker does show up on the S1 app.  How do I register it and also make it eligible for an eventual move to the S2 architecture.Thanks!

Hi, my LG tv has auto updated its WebOS and after moving house I can no longer link the remote to the playbar, the old way of selecting ‘Pioneer’ from the universal remote option on the TV seems to have been removed.the TV model is: 65UN7300PTC and it is running webOS 5.4.3-36 Annoyingly I can link the LG remote to the playbar while the TV is off, but when the TV is switched on the remote seems to switch back to RF and no longer works. does anyone have any idea how to sort this one?  

We just bought a small seasonal 2nd home.  I have a nice Sonos system all hardwired at our main place. I want to do the best I can within Sonos lineup for our new place and 2 Move speakers should work.  I’m not a tech wizard so I have some questions,   Do I need another Sonos Amp to run these as a pair?  I do have Wi-Fi at the new place and want the flexibility to move them around and outside.BIG QUESTION, can I use my main homes Sonos app that already has all my music sources, playlists and channels set up, at the 2nd home?  I would rather not set it all up again.  Any help is much appreciated on either topic.

I currently own a Beam with two One SL's. I wish to connect my vinyl record player to my Sonos set-up  so i was thinking about getting a Sonos port. Now I read that the port does not support the sub or sub mini. Will I be able to connect a sub to my current set-up, and use that together with the port to listen to my vinyls? I do not own a separate sound system other than mentioned Sonos set-up.

I recently bought a Sonos Arc, upgrading from the Beam Gen 2. It’s amazing on Atmos, but non Atmos content just doesn’t have the same power of Atmos content. Like, the sub barely works and the audio is just sort of weak. 

Hi - I just received the Arc and new 300s yesterday.  I installed each of them separately into my sonos system in the same room.  However, in the app, when I try to “add surrounds” to my Arc, the 300s do not appear as an option and instead the only options are my AMPs (which are in different rooms).  Any advice? 

I have just updated the software to 15.8.1 as it requires update to my Sonos Roam and then after the update, all music services disappeared and even my NAS musics are unplayable. Moderator note: We updated this article in October 2023 with new information below.This behavior was due to a Sonos cloud outage at that time that is now resolved. I have 4 Sonos speakers in my home. I have 2 iPhones that belong to 2 different people that have different music apps.  Now I want to hook up to use those 4 speakers. Should each iPhone have its own Sonos account?

I have not been able to update what I think are the last two updates to the Sonos S1 controller on my macbook pro. I click on update now (in the black S1 pane), it does some things and requires my password. I do that and it says: Sonos update failed. An unexpected error occurred, please try again. And that happens every time. (So while the error is unexpected to Sonos, it is very much expected by me). This seems like a longlasting bug (several months). Is there a fix?

Hi,Just a heads up really - I’ve got a mixture of managed and unmanaged switches on my network and they all work fine, but the GS108PEv3 switch messes up the entire network when plugged into a SONOS device. I think the issue is it’s a semi-smart switch that doesn’t support STP, but it probably knows enough about it, so it’s presumably stripping that data from the packets.Avoid!

Hi all, Trying to reconnect both of my Sonos amps and port back online and having connection issues. Before Spectrum came out and replaced the router and modem it work fine.  So the amps are recognized but when I put my new WiFi pw in it says there was a problem and the msg is this. When I called Spectrum they said they flipped it to 2.4 for 1 hr to give me time to connect and it’ll go back then to normal. Still would not connect. Hi,  I'm moving into a new place where the developer and working with an audio company who specialise in Sonos. They are offering to install the Sonos Amp with the Arc soundbar and sonnance wall and ceiling speakers with an LG TV.  I already have a 65 inch Samsung QN800A 8k TV and Samsung HW-N950 soundbar. So my quotation is,  would my current TV and soundbar be compatible with the Sonos Amp and sonnance speakers? ThanksMichael

My SONOS system is ~old:  Play:5; Play:3; SONOS One (Gen 1); SONOS Connect (Gen 1) [connected to Onkyo TX-RZ50 w/Klipsch tower, sub, ceiling, wall speakers; [plus a SONOS Bridge no longer being used].  So I'm pretty "stuck" with using the S1 (Android) Phone App.  I've wished for a physical app to use with this principally for QUICK access as a system "mute" (or "pause") for phone calls, doorbell, someone walks into the room, etc.  Plus, Volume Up/Down control nice, but not required.  I understand IKEA's SYMFONISK remote might be able to do this, though it requires a smart hub.  IKEA sells the SYMFONISK remote in a bundle with their DIRIGERA hub.  Can anyone tell me whether this IKEA SYMFONISK/DIRIGERA combo will control my SONOS S1 products without the necessity of my also needing to buy any SYMFONISK/SONOS speakers?  

I don't know the proper language to tell  Sonos where it is //ETC.

Just purchased a used Play one SL, and got app to add but when I try regeristing by completing my email it states: check you internet settings and try again.I confirm my wifi is on and I'm signed in.Tried factory rest speaker a second time, same results.   See belowModerator Note: Edited picture to hide full email. Dear communityi have an existing Sonos system and I just bought a JBL partybox 310 Bluetooth speaker. Is it possible to add this non Sonos Bluetooth speaker to my existing Sonos system ? Thanks for your advice
