I recently ordered my brand new RT81+ turntable from Fluance but I still haven’t the slightest clue as to how I will be able to connect it to my Sonos Era 100 via line-in. Yes, it comes with a built-in preamp and RCA cables, but how would I be able to connect those to my Sonos even with a USB-C adapter? I am very confused, do I need to buy an additional aux cable or not, please help me understand!

Hi,I am super happy with my new Era 100 set. Have now paired with a Sub and awesome sound experience!One concern though: When connecting my PC through bluetooth, after several days, the connection is dropped by sonos and I cannot reconnect.Rebooting the PC does not help.Rebooting the ERA100s helps, again for a few days. I consider this a workaround.Does anyone have a solution for this?Thanks in advance.

All speakers cut out after about 1-5 minutes if playing simultaneously with sub and beam. I have three Sonos ones, a beam, a sub and one of the ikea speakers. I can play them all with no issues in any combination. However, if played with the beam and sub, the music cuts out. Ive tried every combo and it only happens with the beam and sub (and anything playing the same music at the same time). The beam and sub are typically connected to the TV but this issue only occurs while streaming music. The sub has an ethernet connection and the beam an HDMI. Everything else is wifi.  When the speakers cut out, first the sub and the beam stop first after about 1-5 minutes, then any other speakers that are also playing with usually cut out with a 30 sec to minute delay.  Any help would be most appreciated because the system sounds so much better with the sub (but it always cuts out)!

I've owned this unit roughly 18 - 24 months (one of a pair). I turned it on today after sitting unused for 2-3 weeks.When I first plug the charging cable in I get a rapid blinking red light followed by solid orange light that remains lit. Sonos S2 said the 'battery was depleted'. Is this a battery issue?Should I get the replacement kit or is it now just a $400 hunk of junk?Thanks for any advice.

I changed my wifi password this morning, and went through each of my devices to ensure they were updated with the new password. My Sonos Move is proving to be the only device giving me any sort of headache.I went through the process of changing the network password on the Sonos app. My speaker made the chiming noise, my app prompted me to enter the new password, I ensured the password was correct, but every time I get to the last step, I get an error saying “There was a problem connecting your Sonos Move to [insert wifi name]”. When I click on ‘More Information’, I am being instructed to change my router settings. This is the same router my speaker has been on for a year, and I haven’t changed any settings. The only thing that has changed is my wifi password.What am I doing wrong?  

in the "manage" menu of the Sonos application, I can't access the music library settings or update the music library, these suggestions appear in grey. 

I have the sonos era 300 and when i do the trueplay in my room, after is done i turn off and on the trueplay and the sound don´t make any difference, i tried with my other wifi in my house, in other places of my home and still the same, my best friend has one era 300 too and in his case makes a HUGE difference when is turned on and off in music, when his speaker in on 20 of volume it gets very very loud and in my case the sound is very low in the same percentage of volume, his phone is an galaxy fold 5 and mine is an iphone 11 pro max. Please i need help!

Hello, I received two play1 and play5 gen1 speakers from a friend and I am trying to listen to music but they do not support AirDrop and my question is whether I need to buy an additional device

Sonos randomly thinks someone has asked it a question and provides a useless (and loud) answer to the non-question.  It doesn’t happen often but it’s often unnerving if it does. It has nothing to do with the TV being on, as has been given as “the” answer on questions from other users.  It doesn’t ususally happen then. It sometimes happens when no one is in the room where Sonos lives. I am told to turn voice control off, and I may do that, but isn’t this a bug in SONOS software that they should fix?

Everything seems to have latency lately. To the extreme of suddenly losing contact with the system (while it’s playing from our  library or  internet stream). when we start playing something, it takes about 5 seconds for the song to appear (although playing seems to be immediate); grouping also takes a while to show, and sometimes the volume won’t respond and other times it seems to change in its own. I would say this sonos, but of course they don’t have a conduit for that, so I yell into the void. oh and turn off the damn pop-ups on the support section, you’re not making any friends. 

Yesterday my system was working but this morning Apple Music had disappeared as a music service in the system. Only Line-In and TuneIn are listed. If I go to settings → Services&Voice → Add Service, all I see in the list is Last.fm and TuneIn. What is going on? Internet is working fine.

I got my Move 2 today and was sad to see they changed the charging base a bit.  I had bought an extra Move 1 charger to keep in another room to lug it around between rooms without moving the charging base as well.  I’m curious if the Move 2 will charge properly using the Move 1 base?  I’d just try it but afraid it may hurt something in my new Move 2.  I’d really hate to now fork out extra money on yet another extra charger and try to offload this one lol.  

Hi all, I’ve just purchased a Hisense 65U8HAU TV which supports Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. I am pairing this with my Beam Gen 2.  When playing audio from the TV to the sound bar, my app says Dolby Digital Plus 5.1, rather than Dolby Atmos.  I have done some googling and all of the advice online refers me to the TV’s sound settings, which are completely different on the Australian model compared to the USA model. The sound settings I can adjust say that the audio enhancement is Dolby Atmos. The sound bar is connected through the ARC, and the TV is up to date.When accessing Netflix and Disney+, it also says the maximum audio quality is 5.1.Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello my Sonos Move (1st gen.) stopped showing up on in my Airplay menu on my apple decices.The Sonos app is also no longer able to connect to it.All of the buttons are unresponsive as well…I tried switching it in to bluethoot but it doesn’t react when I press the button.I tried powering it down but this also doesn’t work even if I hold the power button for a long time.It seems to be turned on becaus it is on the charger and the light indicators are on.

Hi, I've a modern Samsung frame TV and currently the audio goes through two Sonos era 100s. Occasionally there is a lip sync delay. Can this be rectified? Would a wired connection rather than a Bluetooth connection solve the problem?

hieach and every time there’s a system (HW) update it takes forever to installI tracked the issue down to… some Sonos speakers registered in my account are in a different house (my country house) and the updater keeps searching for *all* of my speakersI believe this behaviour started with OS2 This can only be fixed by Sonos, right? :-/

Frequently unable to connect Sonus Playbar to network.  Says “unable to connect to Sonus network”.  It seems to connect when it wants and when going through the reconnect or find devices it finds the Playbar but gives the above message.  Tried simultaneously hitting the play and + or - and still getting above message.  Tried unplugging and closing Sonos app and opening - nothing!

I bought a Sonos Roam and the first  spotify album I played on it was fine. But after I’d linked Sonos to Spotify my phone started seemingly getting out of sync with the speaker. What happens is this: Start album on spotify The current time of the first track gets out of sync with the speaker, so it displays the wrong playing time in both the app and in iOS UI. Next track plays ok but the current song is still set to the first track with the current time being the end of that track At the end of the second track the music stops altogether, despite there being more tracks queued to play I’ve tried killing both apps but the issue persists. I’ve only just got this speaker and it has never worked correctly for more than an hour so I’m not very happy. I performed diagnostics after the issue occurred. My home network uses boosters and is very fast vodafone 5Ghz, I just clocked it at 300Mbps.Diagnostic number: 1167079518

I have a few Sonos products and over 100gb of music on my phone (Google pixel 7) but I can't play my music through my system anymore.Can someone please advise me on what I need to do to play music off my phone through my system?

For the love of God please can someone help. For so many months now I’m in despair with the 6 Sonos speakers I have in this house!Everytime I try and play an album from my Amazon prime account (which was always working perfectly for 3 years) now isn’t!! It either doesn’t play the artist at all or plays 1 track or so and then plays something completely random. What is that about?!! I’m seriously tearing my hair out!! Please help someone. Thank you
