Hey! Man, I really could use some help here. I’m struggling to get any output from my Sonos Sub. Here’s the room setup:Thorens TD160 Music Hall pa15.3 phono pre-amp (line-in to play:5)(2) Play:5 gen 1 in stereo with Sonos Sub (one is direct connect to Wi-Fi and acts as the main controller for the rest of the house)line in source level set at 10This is at my folks house and it’s just temporary until I move next year sometime, but I cannot for the life of me get much of any bass coming out of the sub when I use line-in from the above set up. I set the “sub audio” to +15 and it’s still hardly working.  When I stream music the sub is knocking and it sounds great. I’ve used the turntable upstairs with a receiver, old speakers and a sub which sounds good and has plenty of bass. So, I don’t think it’s the cartridge although it’s not a great one. I’m pretty new to the turntable game so it definitely could be the pre-amp? But I’m thinking it’s something with my Sonos system.  Anyone have any ad

I have a new Beam (Gen 2) and two Play:1 speakers. All have been upgraded to the S2 platform.The Play:1 speakers work fine individually, in a stereo pair, and when grouped with the Beam.But, when I configure the Play:1 speakers as surrounds for the Beam, no sound comes from one of the Play:1’s. (Left Rear). The Beam and Play:1 Right Rear work. The light is solid white on top of all speakers. When adding the surrounds, both Play:1’s play the test tone.The problem occurs for all audio sources: TV input (optical + HDMI), Pandora, Music Library, Sonos Radio.I have removed the Play:1 surrounds three times and re-added them - after testing they work independently. Still the left rear Play:1 does not have sound. (all speakers show solid white)I have removed the Play:1 surrounds and renamed their rooms and re-added them - after testing they work independently. I have a new set of era 300s I would like to wall mount them. They would be mounted in a finished poll barn the walls are 16’ tall 34 wide I didn’t want to mount them low how high can I go and do I turn them up side down Also has insulated cathedral ceiling that goes from 16’ up to 26’thanks

I've tried everything so maybe somebody can confirm that what I'm doing isn't possible. (I find it hard to believe that such an expensive system wouldn't give a user more options)I've been completely disappointed with my Playbar plus 2 play threes. My $150 Yamaha sound bar had better ability to select/create separation effects for different stuff that I'm watching. For instance, I like to watch sports. With my old sound bar I could press a button and it gives the stadium affect. Love it! Also could select different simulations in stereo separation. I'm not looking for super quality 5.1 separations, I'm just looking to see if I can simulate different things and left/right delays when I'm watching.i've tried every setting I know but can't seem to create that stadium affect. It's just a super dull experience.Yes I've changed distances etc.i'm hoping for a Sonos professional to just tell me if I'm missing something or will just continue to be disappointed.Maybe going back to my old (much c

Is it a known issue that One SL has problems connecting to hidden SSID?

The Sonos app is on my phone. Once I leave my WiFi area and come back the same speaker is always missing from the app - my Arc. If I start up music on other speakers, the Arc will play as well, but it is not seen by the app. I have to unplug it and then sometimes it will be seen again. If not seen, I search for products and then it is found and can be controlled. 

I want to add a stand alone speaker to my zoned system. Can I add either of these speakers to my other zones which are amp to ceiling speakers? Secondly which is better? thanks.

My old Mac died.  I redirected and found everything in Sonos from the new Mac EXCEPT that I now have three Recently Added folders.    There’s only one showing in Apple Music.    I can’t see any way to find where these are from to delete the two I don’t want.Any ideas?  

I have just bought 2 A80k Sony TVs (XR-65A80K and XR55A80K). Both are set up in identical fashion with Apple TV input to HDMI 1 and an optical cable to the Playbase/beam. The Apple TV remote and the Sony remote both change volume when the Sonos is not connected, and when the Sonos is connected, the volume indicator shows as going up or down with the remotes, but no change in volume on the Sonos. We do not use the TVs for channels. We only watch content through the Apple TV.It is as though the volume settings on the tv are not being recognised by the Sonos equipment. Very frustrating to see the volume indicator moving, but no change in volume. The Sonos app changes the volume fine. The Apple Remote is no longer recognised by the Sonos, and the Sony remote is Bluetooth. So the question is does anyone have an idea how to make this work. I have tried resetting the remote (input/down for 5 secs), tried resetting the TV and setting up from scratch, and tried setting up the Sonos from scratch

has anyone found a workaround for playing my own MP3s from my Android device since Sonos very unfairly removed this feature? I knew I should have gone Bose :-(

For the past 3+ months, I have been unable to add Telmore as a music service.I keep receiving this error:“FejlBeklager, vi oplever i øjeblikket problemer med adgangen til servicen.”Which translates to: "Error. Sorry, we are currently experiencing problems with access to the service." I have attempted to update the Sonos App and even uninstalled/reinstalled it, but it dod not solve the issue.What should I do?" 

My Sonos Roam charging port started melting and now wont charge. It’s less than a year old. It could have caused a fire in my house. Please can a replacement Sonos Roam be arranged? 

Sonos sound drops out when routing various music services via a Sonos Connect device (S1)My Sonos system is version S1 and comprises: Controller, Connect, and Play 5.Connections: Play 5 is a wired connection to Virgin Media router. Connect has a wireless connection to my home network and has a wired connection to my audio amplifier. My network has a Virgin Media Wi Fi Pod to improve network performance.What I know …..I previously had difficulties accessing the Sonos Controller in our main living area and this has been resolved by adding a Virgin Media Wi Fi Pod to strengthen the network signal (now showing 28 Mbps download speed).However, the audio feed through the Sonos Connect device is falling out at regular intervals (it’s off more than it’s on). I have a Sonos amp I want to connect to 6 Sonos sonance architectural speakers. Can I simply use one speaker per room for whole home background music? I understand 2 per room is typical however we have other Sonos products for intense listening experiences. This is simply for background music. Many model homes simply use one per room… I also understand the single zone situation. Since the sonos sonance have 2 woofers then a single sonance can provide stereo sound to the room. Has anyone done this and are you happy with it?

Only while watching TV (Roku player plugged into an LG, Beam connected via HDMI cable) my Sonos Beam sound will drop entirely out and go to low volume. When I turn it “back up” it is crackling and fuzzy, then will suddenly and unexpectedly pop back in but, because I turned it up, it is blasting me with high volume. This only happens during TV watching, never during any music playing.

Out of the blue, my S2 system no longer connects to My Cloud, where all my digital music files are stored. The drive itself is fine and functions independently. When I select My Cloud Home I get an error message telling me the My Cloud account needs to be reauthorized. When I click ‘reauthorize’ it brings up a new screen telling me my account cannot be found. Interestingly, when I go the the list of a-z Music Services listed in the system menu My Cloud Home is not there. I’ve got used to the seemingly endless full outages with  my cloud services on sonos but according to the website, everything is online. 

Years ago, I purchased a sonos setup that included a playbar, 2 Play:3 speakers, and a Sub. I believe the purchase was made around 2014/15. I know I have outdated speakers, but they still sound fantastic, and they work great. Until today. I can no longer get any audio out of the of the speaks. The S1 app says all 4 components need an update, and takes me to the new sonos app to do so. When I download the new sonos app, it says my speakers are not compatable and cannot be updated in the new app. I’m now stuck with speakers that don’t work, needing an update with no way to update them. Anyone know how to resolve this? Is there a way to resolve this?Any help would be appreciated. I have zero desire spending thousands of dollars upgrading to a new sonos system just so it can talk to a the new app. 

Hello.Currently, we have a Sony receiver that our TV, Apple TV and turntable all run through. They exit through a pair of speakers. Each speaker has 2 banana connectors that come out of the back of the receiver. We were gifted a Era 300 (just one) and would like to use that to replace our speakers. My question is “Is this possible?” and if so, “What do we need to make it work?”. I do not have much experience here so perhaps this is a really easy issue to solve. I appreciate any guidance someone can offer!Thanks in advance.

We’ve got a Beam gen 1 and two Era 100s set up in surround right now. We’ve also got an Audio Technica turntable that could connect to one of the Eras through bluetooth or the line-in, but they are disabled in surround sound mode. The only option seems to be setting up the Eras as a stereo pair *every time* we want to play the turntable and then grouping them back with the beam *every time* we want to watch the TV. It’s such a lot of bother to do this every time, and if we want Trueplay calibration we have to set it up like new *every time*. It’s this or buy a massively expensive Port unit.Is this really the reality? Am I missing something? Can Sonos not streamline the switch to some degree? At least remember the Trueplay calibrations for each setting? 

I cannot control volume or mute on Sonos system with Apple TV or Sony TV remote.  Connection to Playbar is optical out from TVNeed to know optimal TV sound settings.TV is Sony Bravia XR-50X90J 

Is it better to use the Tidal App or the Sonos app for the best music quality? 

My Move (model S17) connects to my Ion Bluetooth turntable no problem but then the sound doesn’t come out of the speaker. Any ideas what the issue is and how to fix it?(this is a recent issue and has been working fine for years. The Move has received all system updates).

I have two SL1’s and two Ray’s hardwired via ethernet and three SL1’s using WIFI.Randomly ALL of the speakers disconnect then reconnect.I’ve done the recommended router reboot and unplug/plug in of all network attached devices.Problem has only recently started occurring. All Sonos components are running the latest patches/upgrade and the App is latest (per Apple App Store).Sonos OS = S2Version = 15.9Build = 75146030Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated. 

I do not see a way to play Pandora Podcast on my Sonos 1 APP. it there a way to play Pandora podcast ? I’m having issues with the new “TuneIn” on Sonos1  Thanks
