I noticed the Sonos Port isn’t listed in the product menu, and the price has been reduced on the site. Is this product being discontinued, or upgraded?

Sonos hasn’t announced anything about the Port being upgraded or discontinued. And the Port has not been discounted on the website.

It’s still for sale on the main Sonos website. And it would be a very odd choice to stop selling it, there really isn’t anything else like it in the Sonos lineup. I’m inclined to believe any ‘missing’ issue is a mistake, rather than a ‘message’ indicating it is going away.

I hope so as I was just about to purchase one as an upgrade from my older Gen 1 Connect, thought it odd as it wasn’t listed alongside the AMP. Naturally enough the sale price appears to have ended, now it’s back up to the full price again, must have been a special for this weekend.
You may want to try waiting a bit more, to see if there are any Black Friday deals coming up. No guaranties on that, but would two weeks wait hurt?
