I have an Android phone. I stream Spotify to my Sonos speaker. Works wellRecently I subscribed to apple music because of their handling of classical music. Their is no connection button on the Apple app to connect between my phone and Sonos. Any idea how to do this?

After connecting the sub woofer mini it says “not assigned”

I’m used to using streaming music to bluetooth speakers. You go out of range and the music stops - I get it.Today I was using the Sonos App to stream tunes to my pair of Sonos One’s. I had to go out and I figured that the music would stop and the speakers would go into standby as I would be out of range. But no, I came back home and the speakers were still playing music… huh?Explain to me like I’m 5 please.Thanks!

Hello, hoping someone can help me as customer support is offline in Australia at the mo. I have a few Sonos speakers dotted around the house, all of them, bar one, are happily working on S2. My Play 5 Gen 1 can’t connect to it, so has been sitting like a brick for a while.I understand there is no workaround for this, so decided to buy a turntable that I could plug directly into the Play 5 via the 3.5mm aux. I *thought* I’d be able to just download the S1 app and connect solely to the Play 5 for the purpose of playing records, but when plugging it in, it just flashes white.I have tried resetting (holding the |> button while unplugging/re-plugging), and have tried connecting via ethernet to my router, and resetting again, but nothing - the lights on either end (router/speaker) don’t even register it.How can I get my Play 5 working independently of the rest of the system? I was hoping it would be easy…Thank you! 

I have a large home.  I’d like to setup my game room and outdoor tv on separate Sonos systems from the main system in my living room.  Also, have these all on at the same time (football season parties with multiple games on).is this possible?  Or do I need to put them on different Wi-Fi networks?  I can install routers to create multiple networks.thanks!

I am looking for the best way to hook up my  Fluance RT85 TurntableSony UBP-X800M2 (Blu Ray player that will be used for CDs)A Future Tape deckTo a Sonos port which will allow me to play those devices over my Arc/dual sub/duel Era 300 speaker system.Is there a preamp that will allow an HDMI input form the Blu Ray player?Any notable receivers that play nicely with the Port?  Any advice would be appreciated The goal is to play vinyl, CD and Tapes over my Sonos theater system.   No need to stream or do anything else.  Just play old fashion media through my room without buying standalone speakers Thanks

Hi, I have been trying to set up Alexa on my Sonos Roam (since Google Assistant could never discover my device, which is a whole separate issue), to play Spotify but whenever I tell Alexa to play Spotify, it says I have to enable the skill in the Alexa app, which I have already done.Spotify is set up in the Alexa app as well as default music service, and in the Sonos Mobile App as music service, both are set up with the same Spotify Premium account. No matter what I do, Alexa can’t find the spotify skill for some reason. I say “Alexa, Play Spotify” and it says “To do that, enable the skill for the Sonos Roam in your Alexa App, then ask me to discover devices.” The Sonos Skill is enabled, and there are no devices to be discovered when I ask it to. I’m so very lost, do I need to contact Amazon since this is an issue with Alexa? Or can this be solved here?

Hey everyone. I have 3x Play3 and a sonos Amp. 2 of the Play 3s are grouped together downstairs to play in the kitchen and dining room. However, they are dropping out randomly. Sometimes the kitchen oneSometimes the dining room.I've tried moving speakers, I've tried restarting routers with everything off and switching them on afterward. I've tried seeing if there are any updates. No joy. This is playing BBC sounds or Spotify btw. Internet speed of around 40mbpsCan anyone help me ?

Hi folks….Airplay…..well i’m just try to figure how to ask the right question here. I’ll try my best. The TV’s i got are more or less 10-14yo. They are all Plastma and they got HDMI ARC-connection.Before i got the Arcana HDfury,i had my home cinema streaming movies over Airplay(yes i got a Apple tv 4K for all my TV’s). When i start choose soundsource from the side menu i turn on my Beam and turn off speakers in TV. Then press play….everything seems to be working ok….If i watch Youtube,and there is a commercial,the Beam disconnected and only TV-speakers work. Then you need to go to sidemenu again…..choose the Beam and turn off TV speaker. Is there a way to fix this? Or i just buy a new TV with eARCor another eARC-extractor like an OREI or another Arcana(or a cheeper one….any suggestions?) 

Hi I’ve wired 4 Sonos in ceiling speakers back to my amp. These are brand new wires and no option to replace as buried in the house. I. Sound quality is poor. ‘Fuzzy’ and hollow and can’t take loud volumes. Are there settings on the amp that can address this? Could it be poor connections at the speakers or the amps?Any ideas? Thank you. 

Hi, I have a slight but annoying audio delay. The lips of onscreen actors/news anchors is faster than the audio. Also, when pausing a show and then resuming the episode a short time later, the audio does not resume sometimes up to 10 seconds. I use Bluetooth for my (two) Sonos one SL’s, an arc and amp. In Sonos app settings, delay playback is off. I have high speed internet in the house. Router is next to the arc. All the speakers are contained in the family room. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. 

I have an alarm set in the Sonos App to play Apple Music to a pair of Sonos Ones in my Bedroom.  It just played a default alarm this morning rather than music.When I checked the app there was no linked Apple Music in the App, nor was there an option to add any music services.   I deleted the app on my IPhone, reinstalled same result no Apple Music service and not available to add. 

I’m listening to the 1989 (Taylor’s Version) album that came out today and something is wrong with the mix, but only on my Sonos system (Arc+sub+2 300s). I’m using Apple Music. During the chorus, when she sings “Wildest Dreams uh uh huh,” the “uh uh huh” part raises the volume of the soundbar and is jarring. I thought this could just be the mix, but I played the same track using the same source through my Airpod pro 2nd gen and the same jarring volume bump doesn’t occur.Why is this happening? It’s difficult to listen to, and also gives me pause that Sonos isn’t properly interpreting the mix.If you want to hear what I’m hearing, go to around 1:04 on Wildest Dreams (TV) on an Atmos Sonos.  

This is beyond a joke, trying to choose music this morning and a huge advert pops up in the Sonos app. Again!Firstly, I never opted into advertising. Why would I want a part of my hi-fi system to show me adverts?Secondly, I found the setting months ago in the app preferences to “allow pop-up message” and turned this off. To reiterate, I never turned it on in the first place.So why am I still getting adverts? The setting is still off, I checked.For anyone reading this who doesn’t mind advertising, that’s fine. Totally your choice. But Sonos is losing my trust again (which was never fully restored after the upgrade debacle). It’s my phone, it’s my hi-fi system and I should not be forced to see unwanted adverts.I assume there is no personal data processing involved as, having already opted out, that would be a breach of UK (and EU) privacy laws.Anyway, how can I make sure that the right people at Sonos see this and fix it permanently? 

hi all, we have sonos ecosystem currently and looking to add some more.  i’m looking to setup a beam and 2 era 100s in our living room  as a home theater setting, but id also like to add one or two of our One speakers to the beam and eras for music only around the house.  Is this possible?  do i need to create separate “rooms”  for music and for home theater? or some other way to set this up?   ideally i’d like the whole house to be able to play music as a room, but then toggle (or automatically switch) the home theater speakers for TV viewing.  I cant find anything in the forums about setting up multiples with the same speakers.

My modem died yesterday. I got a new modem and try to get everything all set up. My play bar wasn’t showing up in the settings, but was still playing. As I want to be able to control it independently, I tried multiple things, including, unfortunately, (as per comments, here by administrators), factory resets. I cannot get the Playbar to connect to the Wi-Fi. I’ve spent hours on the phone with both my Wi-Fi service provider as well as Sonos. I can get it working just fine with an ethernet cable. Unfortunately the TV is not located in proximity to my modem.Is the Wi-Fi dead in this playbar?Thoughts? Thoughts? Any help in getting my player? Bar connected to the Wi-Fi would be greatly appreciated. I’ve spent countless hours and torn out many hairs trying to get this resolved.

I have a s3and S5 gen1 I think and my bridge is suddenly showing no power 😭. What can I do to get my system up and running as bridge are now not available.

I currently have a surround sonos set up (playbase, sub, 2 sonos one speakers). Can i replace one of my current sonos one speakers with an era 300 without any issues?

Just applied recent Sonos App update on up-to-date mac (Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)), and right at the end the Mac popped up an error that the upgrade was blocked by apple Security and Privacy setting.When I clicked on it, it just went away.  App seems to function, but leaves a mystery of what went wrong, and raises the spectre of potential future problems from a partial update….

Does anyone know if I need to use the new app for the Move 2?  We have some older Sonos speakers upstairs that we’d want to pair with this, but they won’t work on the v2 of the app.

I have a Sonos Connect that keeps dropping off my system.  The rest of the speakers keep playing music.  It’ll drop anywhere between a few seconds to until the next song comes on.  If I pause the song and play again, it comes back.  When it’s out, the Connect doesn’t show up in the app (iPhone).I’ve tried power cycling the Connect and that seems to work for a day and then it’ll start again.It’s not a “reset your wifi router” issue because it is hardwired with ethernet.  There is no IP addressing issue.  Anyone have an idea?

Hello,Our Sonos system consist of 2 Boosts, 5 Connect Amp compatible with S2, 1 Amp and 1 Arc.  The Connect Amps are distributed in the home while the Arc and Amp are in the living room connected to our television.  Boosts are needed to extend the Sonos network.I recently realized that a part of our home internet network was not working.  Some ethernet connections needed to be worked on.  I had to make changes in the wiring and the connections.I suspect that part of my problems were created when adding a TP-Link Deco mesh system on my home network to have a better signal in all our home that is not ethernet wired entirely.So I played around with all the wires and cables of our internet and Sonos networks.  When reconnecting everything, my Amp was not recognized anymore on my Sonos network and my Arc’s button were not responsive anymore.  I don’t know if the 2 problems are caused by the same problem.So I tried very hard to have my Amp recognize by the network.  I also tried resetting it
