I am currently planning to use SONOS for all my music and TV-needs. I have a room that is 4x4m where I plan to have as a “base” for both TV and Vinyl/music listening. The setup I want to go for is Arc+Sub+2 Era100 in the TV room. Can I use one of the Era100s to connect the Vinyl Player to the SONOS network of speakers? And then in the room next to the TV room I want to have 2 Era100s in one zone, and 2 in another zone. Can I still send the vinyl from the Era100 to all the other speaker zones?

I have dumb speakers i use via an integrated (Marantz) amp. I just bought a Sonos Connect, hoping I could use that to make the dumb speakers part of my Sonos set up, but can’t get them working to stream music as I’d hopedI’ve connected the Connect via RCA cable to the amp. And the Connect is being recognized via my Sonos app. (It’s powered up and named). My other Sonos speakers are working.Not sure where I’m going wrong with the wiring of Connect to amp. Or did I misunderstand what hardware I needed to get my dumb speakers integrated to my Sonos set up??!! Thanks for any advice or ideas

Hello,I have been using Sonos devices in vairous rooms of my house : Arc + Sub + 2 One in the living room, a pair of One in 3 other rooms…The device that is monitoring the use of my solar panels turns off the sockets in the rooms where nobody is. Hence my Sonos system is most of the time incomplete (with disconnected speakers).In this situation, the Sonos App struggles and takes a while before letting me play music and then does not run smoothly…Would you please consider this use case and make it work better ?Thanks.

Looks like the previous thread got closed - but the problem is still here  I have 3 Roams and 2 of them went bad before 2 years - the 3rd is still ok but not quite a year old yet.Sonos needs to step up on this - all I want is for them to replace the batteries or send me new ones & instructions how to replace. My 1st call to support ended in the tech telling me they would either send new batteries or replace the untis - they did neither. I have been a loyal Bose user for 30 years and made the switch to Sonos slowly 2 years ago & started buying new Sonos speakers - I am wondering if I made the correct choice - clearly Sonos is not supporting the Roam product.

Hi,I disabled the Touch Controls and Led light for a Sonos IKEA bookshelf in the app. During a reset, the speaker disappeared from the app. Now I can neither control it through the app nor can I perform a factory reset. It’s completely lost.How can I get it back?

When watching Netflix dolby atmos it isn't showing just saying dolby digital 5.1

I’ve never had an issue connecting my iPhone to the sonos airplay - all of a sudden it’s stated saying ‘unable to connect’ I’ve removed the app, reconnected the app, tried literally everything - I don’t know how to connect the two

I have a number of Sonos devices, Play5 Gen2, Play 1s, Roam and have seen various issues with connectivity across all of these.Currently when trying to play from Apple Music on my iPad via AirPlay to the Play5, as the song is playing there is no sound, then after around 3-4 minutes of leaving it alone playing the sound randomly starts to come out of the Play5. Sound drops in and out, sometimes corrupts and crackles etc.The Sonos Roam has intermittent connectivity issues over Bluetooth.The Play1s have issues where they drop in and out, when paired with other devices, one speaker will drop out whilst the other works and vice versa. All devices are up to date, they sit on desks or on a kitchen counter top.Why are Sonos devices so frustrating and fit for purpose? Hi all,I currently have two ONEs in the lounge (stereo pair, on Sanus stands) and two Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers in the kitchen (stereo pair).I am looking to buy a Beam Gen 2 for the lounge. I am thinking of bringing the Symfonisk speakers into the lounge and placing them on stands behind the sofa on either side with TV straight ahead and keeping the ONEs where they are at either side of the TV in the far corners. For TV, I would like to use the Beam as main speaker(s) and Symfonisks for Rear Surrounds. I don't think I can also add the ONEs as extra speakers for TV in this set up?For Music, I would like to use the Beam, together with the ONEs (as a stereo pair) and IF POSSIBLE, also the Symfonisks. Would the latter best be achieved by changing the setting to Full Audio (not ambient)? Also, assuming I can do all of that, am I going to notice a big improvement when playing music to all these speakers, compared to what I'm used to, ie, playing on just the ONEs as a stereo pair? One of my outdoor Sonos Architectural speakers cracks all of the time.  Both speakers are hard wired to the amp with the suggested gauge.  Both wires are approximately 100 feet.  I’ve had the system for about 1 year.   I’ve uninstalled and installed the app, may consider trying new cables  Has anyone experienced the same issue and what did you to to fix the issue? 

Hi there,I'm planning to purchase a Sonos amp and replace my AVR. I already own a Sonos One and I really fell in love with the app, the simplicity and the lack of cable clutter. However, I want to keep my passive speakers. I have a specific use case that I can't find an answer to, and I'm hoping you can help me out.  Here's the setup I'm interested in: Amp + 2 passive speakers + 2 Sonos One as rear speakers for TV and music (Streaming + turntable) I only have the opportunity to watch TV and listen to my vinyl records a few days a week max. due to young children. I understand that Sonos devices are designed to be powered on continuously. However, I'd like to pull the plug amp and only switch it on when needed.Is it possible to use the Sonos One speakers independently when the amp is powered off, even though they are configured as rear speakers? I want to use them for Spotify, Internet Radio, and voice control. It would be great if I could use them in stereo mode. Thanks in advance.

Hi All,I have an old Yamaha amplifier (20 years) 5.1 with home cinema sound (1 subwoofer + 5 speakers), connected to my TV via cable.I’d like to keep my amplifier but put a Sonos home theater (ultimate immersive set with arc) instead of my subwoofer+speakers.How can I do that?With cables connectd to my amplifier? Which ones?Do I have to skip my Yamaha amplifier and thus connect the Sonos home theater directly to my TV? Bluetooth or cables?I’m a dummies in that area… any support will be welcome ;-)David

Which components do I need to connect the Move 2 to the turntable from Sonos ? 

I have (2) ERA300’s and a mini sub in one zone then separately (1) ERA100 in a second zone.Whenever I have music playing and zones grouped, it only plays ONE speaker from ONE of the zones. If I ungroup, it will play music from one ERA300 then the ERA100 in the other zone will be playing (1 speaker per zone). I’ve been able to play around with it and have both ERA300’s play music from the first zone (separately). The sub has never operated yet even though it is tied to them in the zone. All of the speakers are within 30’ of my WiFi router. Has anyone had this issue where it only plays from one speaker when it is part of a zone? Secondarily, has anyone ever had it only play from one speaker when all zones are grouped together?w

I have Sonos Beam and One S2. Both worked fine yesterday and for over 3 years I had no issues. But today it all changed. Both were grouped. My network is run on Deco mesh system.Beam disappeared from the app but it is still working, despite the fact I don’t see it in the app. One is showing in the app but not working. Can’t turn it off and no sound coming though.I tried adding Beam back to the app but getting an error “There was a problem connecting your Beam to network”. I tried several times but nothing works. The best result I had it said it was connected, but right after it reverts back and offers to connect it again. The only way to make it work like it was before is to connect Beam with router through enternet cable. After that both Beam and One show in the app and can be grouped.Can anybody help me to figure out how to fix this issue. I prefer Wi-Fi connection.

my Sonos speaker is raising the volume to the max on its own without me, prompting it. It starts making this……Dot, dot,dot etc sound and then the volume goes to the top!! Very annoying. Anyone know what’s going on with the speaker?

Is there any way to use a port with no line-in? I thought I could hook one up to my studio monitors, so for example I could stream audio from my phone and hear it through the studio monitors. But it seems that with no line level input, the Sonos app does not offer it as a device.

I have beam 1. I had it hooked up to a Samsung smart tv.  The tv went went out and I purchased a Sony  43”smart tv. I had Best Buy install the new tv. Best Buy tech’s  tried to hook up the beam 1 to the Sony tv via hdmi. It would stay on for 10-15 seconds then cut off. They spent about 30minutes trying.  No luck.  Any suggestions. Will the beam 1 work w it’s the new Sony tv or just beam 2.  I would appreciate your help since I spent a lot of money on the beam speaker

I own 2 play5 spleakers 1st gen and just sold them. I want to discontinue from my account. 

I keep having problems with my sonos app. At least 3 or 4 times a month it will not connect to my speakers. I am using play 1 and play 3 speakers.  The app says unable to connect to sonos. If you go through the trouble shooting it tells you to turn off router and and speakers and start again with set up. But this means resetting all Wi-Fi passwords on other devices as well. It is not just one phone not working with sonos but two phones and two iPads. Surely you shouldn’t have to keep resetting speakers and router 2 to 3 times a month. The sonos app is the only one on my phone or iPads that doesn’t work properly. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Already have 2 Sonos subs (Think Gen2) hooked up in two separate rooms, can I add a 3rd Sonos sub to the system (ideally new Gen 3 sub)?  Want to do another another room with Arc and Sub, but can’t find anything that says this is possible or not possible.  Want to avoid the amp and 3rd party sub if possible.  Thanks

Hello, I have two Sonos Play:1s in the same room and paired for left and right play. I control them using the S2 iPhone app. Other details:Version: 14.20.1 (build 70436090)Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-2.0Series ID: A101Since changing wifi router they will play a few songs for roughly ten/fifteen minutes and then stop. When the music stops, the entire network no longer has internet connectivity. All wireless and wired products stay connected to the network but can no longer access the internet. To resolve I have to restart my router. Does anybody have any solutions? The behaviour means I have stopped using my Sonos system which is really frustrating. Thank you in advance!

When I start the mobil app - the Roam shows up and installs as expected.  I have powered off and repowered and it does not show up in system.  I have tried multiple factory resets.  I have rebooted my Starlink router and my Unifi Ubiquity Mesh points.  and i’ve rebooted my phone.  none of it works.
