My Sony Bravia TV has been using it for more than a year and using the Sonos beam speaker and just happen to stop and switch automatic to TV speaker. Any help is appreciated.

I would perhaps first simply try powering off both the TV and Speaker for a couple of minutes, ensure the HDMI cable between them is correctly seated and then power them on again and just see if that resolves the issue.
