Sonos Five; Analog/Digital Output

Does the Sonos Five speaker play analog output when music is streamed to it over wifi? (i.e. Victrola wifi turntable, Apple/Youtube Music, etc). Is it converted to analog when it is received by the Five speaker or is it converted at the source?

I guess in other words, can analog audio be played over wifi streaming devices?

Networks transport audio digitally. The Five decodes the digital stream, converts it to analog, then sends it to the speaker drivers.

Thank you @ratty. That’s what I was assuming but wanted to confirm.
