Hi, I'm hoping for some advice on upgrading my system. I know some of these questions have been asked before, so I apologise if they seem basic. I've had a search through and read many posts but couldn't find exactly what I am looking for.I currently have two ONEs in the lounge (stereo pair, on Sanus stands) and two Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers in the kitchen (stereo pair).I am looking to buy a Beam Gen 2 for the lounge. I am thinking of bringing the Symfonisk speakers into the lounge and placing them on stands behind the sofa on either side with TV straight ahead and keeping the ONEs where they are at either side of the TV in the far corners. For TV, I would like to use the Beam as main speaker(s) and Symfonisks for Rear Surrounds. I don't think I can add the ONEs as extra speakers for TV in this set up and that's ok if that's the case (but would be nice).For Music, I would like to use the Beam, together with the ONEs (as a stereo pair) and IF POSSIBLE, also the Symfonisks. Hi all I currently have a Playbar and Sub (I assume 1st gen) and small whit Sonos bridge. What are the best speakers to pair with this set up? Playbar is above TV and I have shelves on both sides of tv with plenty of space. Went to Best Buy and they told me I could connect any of the new gen speakers with them. What speakers would I have to source to put on the sides of the tv. I have the sun set up near the couch away from the tv. 

I have an open concept living room with Florida concrete block exterior walls so in-wall speakers and rear surround speakers are not an option. My wife doesn’t want speakers out visible in the middle of the room. I want to create a 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos system surround sound system for my home theater using an Onkyo NR7100 receiver with Sonos speakers. I would like to use the Arc, the sub, and 4 Sonos ceiling speakers to do this? Will this work? It seems like it would. What am I missing? I do t think I need to add a Sonos amp anywhere to make it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

I’m no longer able to connect my line-in feed (a turntable) to most of the speakers in my home. This is suddenly a problem for the past few days after a full year of no issues at all. When I activate the line-in and try selecting any other speakers except the 5 (which is wired to the turntable) and my ceiling kitchen speakers (which are connected to my Sonos Amp), it makes all the sound stop and eventually says it can’t connect to the device. Nothing about my home or set-up has changed so I have no idea why this is happening. Submitted a diagnostic—1125498172. 

i have an issue with adding sonos amp at sonos mobile app after adding sonos ar & one sl, i can’t do that at one application as the owner asked for setting all amp,arc & one sl together at same system, so any help to get off this issue ?

I’ve just recieved the latest syatem update on my Sonos Beam Gen 2 and Sub Mini. what does the update fix/improve please? Will it fix a problem Ive had with my TV switching back to TV speakers from the Beam and needing a power cycle to reconnect.

Brand new Sonos move and I can’t get it to work at all it’s getting very tiresome to use the Sonos system.  I have so many components of my system I am not prepared to lose by upgrading to sonos 2 appthis new speaker won’t downgrade and there for me - $659 I can’t use

Hi All I am a 65 year old Sonos novice and have now joined your community to look for help as I cannot resolve my issue although I have been adding to the sonos system for a number of years now I haven't suffered from many issues. I have recently noticed that when I group two of the main rooms the sound begins to distort on the one’s at times but not all of the time only occasionally 2 one’s in same room will distort or cut out the other room sounds fine, should I group an additional main room (all three main rooms together) all the one’s distort. In each of the three main rooms I have the following 1 Play base + 2 One’s + 1 Sub, an additional room has 2 one’s + 1 Ray which was recently added also further additional 5 rooms each having 1 one.The complete system comprises of the following3 x Sub3 x Play Base1 x Ray15 x One (2 not yet connected?)I have searched the online help but cannot find anything relating to this issue the system has been updated as of this morning and I have reset

I have just purchased a sub gen 1 off ebay for my S1 system. All looks good.I have another Sub already connected to my lounge, this new one is for the kitchen/beam.The S1 app could not see the sub. I had this problem with the beam. So ran S2, factory reset, connected, downgraded to S1. All looking good. I run S1 app on same wifi network as Sonos system. Follow instructions. The S1 app finds Sub. Asks me to press the Sub button, I do this, and S1 thinks while trying to connect. But does not and concludes it cannot find the unit (even though it had it in its sights just moments ago). I’ve been round this loop several times, factory re-setting etc. Always, the S1 can see it and begin the connect sequence, but then loses it. What is the workaround? 

Just got this new router from the ISP and my speakers always disconnect or cannot be found. Have to always find and re-start the router to find all speakers. Sonos say’s to name the bands to separate them but ISP says it is not possible with this router. The page that lists routers that are not compatible does not list this router. Has anyone find a solution for this issue with this specific router? Is my only option is to get another router that lets you separate the bands (2.4ghz/ghz)???Set up:1 Beam4 Sonos Play11 Move

My Calm Radio stations stopped playing through the Sonos app this afternoon. They were working a few hours earlier. I thought I would delete and re-add the Calm Radio service in the app to see if this would resolve the issue,  and when I tried to add it again it had disappeared from the list of available services. I am a paid Calm customer and it is working through all other means, including the Calm Radio app and Roon. Does anyone know what's going on? [EDIT: A few minutes after I posted this a Sonos app notice  informed me “Calm Radio is experiencing a full outage” and it now appears as “down” on the Sonos status page. Oddly I am listening to Calm through Roon during this “full outage” and am having no issues playing stations through the Calm app.]

On-line chatted with a Sonos rep to determine if the audio output of my windows 11 can be sent to the Sonos SL One. The speaker does not have a line in. Is there any workaround to be able to accomplish windows 11 audio output to Sonos SL One speaker?Thank you

Hi,I have decided to update my system to s2 and run the compatibility check which reports my Connect cannot be updated. I decided to create a separate system for my PlayBase & Beam but getting response  that they are both incompatible. Please advise

Hello friends, I have a problem with my Sonos Play 1. I tried to factory reset them as described on the official website, but I can't. When the buttons are pressed, the white indicator should flash, then white and orange, and after 10 seconds green. But the green light just doesn't appear or appear at all.Is there any way to reset the sonos play 1 using an app? It is to reset the speakers through the application, and not to reset the application itself.Thanks!

Just bought a Beam Gen 2. Sound quality is incredible but at high volume (> 55%) and bass-heavy tracks there’s a distinct rattle/buzz coming from inside the unit. It’s definitely the Beam itself because it continues if you pick it up. Stops if it’s rotated onto its back. My guess would be that it’s a ribbon cable that connects the touch panel on the top, but I’m not sure if this is a design issue (at which point swapping it out won’t help) or a fault with mine.

Hi!5 of my sonos speakers are set up and working fine on my new router.  However, 2 of my sonos speakers wont connect. I keep getting an message saying product not found.  Ive done a hard reset, connected it via ethernet and even called tech support.  I’m so discouraged. 

Hey Community,I currently have a bunch of alexa speakers all over my house, the sound isn’t great but I love that I can connect speakers and play music throughout my entire house. I want to upgrade, looking at sonos. I’m looking at the ultimate immersive set with Arc (includes Arc, sub gen 3, (2) era 300’s). I’d like to be able to connect additional speakers to that for when I play music, thinking 4 additional ERA 300’s and 2 Move 2’s. Anyone know if I can play music simultaneously on all of those devices?

My Play 1 speaker won’t connect wirelessly to my new BTHub2 router

Just picked up a pair of Era 300s with the Sub Mini for music listening only in my living room.  I got the sub thinking it was just a given that I would need it.  However, I find that I actually get more and better bass performance without the sub from just the stereo pair of the 300s.  I was very surprised at this but after A/B testing with and without the sub, I’m getting better bass without it.  Anyone else have this combo?  I’m thinking I may return the sun to save some cash.

There is an “update now” button on my S2 Controller on my MacBook but I am having trouble updating it. I have not had issues in the past updating the app on my MacBook. I keep getting an error during the install process that says “Sonos Update Failed. An unexpected error occurred. Please try again”. (Screenshot of Error attached) I have tried it again several times and keep getting the same error. I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1. Anyone know a fix?   

The Sonos app suddenly not working with the iOS lock screen control and volume button anymore, suspect it happen after the Sonos iOS app updates. So far I had tried:Restart the iPhone and make sure the iOS and Sonos App having latest version Reset Sonos app Reset + uninstall + reinstall app Off and on Sonos ERA300 and do the above Research all possible solutions from Google but nothing helps yet :( All of this not working, my app version is 15.6 build 74043110 with iPhone 14 Pro iOS 16.6. Is anyone facing the same issue or this is a known software bug?

Hello everyone,A few months ago Sonos put out an update (I have no idea which one, but I’m sure they do!) which has effectively stopped my personal music library from indexing.I can run the “Update Music Library” as many times as you wish, and I systematically receive the same error message:The music is stored on a NAS - which has no issues.The network is working perfectly well.This is a known issue with Sonos - I have sent logs and talked to their Service Centre.I simply can’t understand why this issue is not being dealt with! They have known about it for months, but no answers?Getting seriously worried that their teams are focusing only on streaming, and abandoning the thousands of clients like myself with libraries  to which we hold dear, and want to be able to use as one of our sources of listening to music!Hope someone out there has some answers - because Sonos certainly doesn’t!!Gerard

With the Roam SL can you stream anything to it?  It’s not limited to just streaming services?   thanks
