HelloWe have several Sonos products and all work fine with the Sonos 2 (S2) app.  However, we have just moved into a property with Sonos speakers fitted to the ceilings and these are operated by the Sonos S1 app.Whilst we are successfully able to play music to the ceiling speakers from Sonos Radio (via the S1 app), we simply cannot add a Music Service to the S1 app.  We have tried several times but when selecting ‘Add a Service’ from the Services & Voice menu, no other music service appears and all that happens is a spooling wheel (as if the S1 app is looking for a music service).  The only music we can play is from Sonos Radio.We want to add Amazon Music (U.K.) to the S1 app and, if possible, BBC Sounds - but the main source of our music is via Amazon Music. Why is the S1 app not finding any music services.  Are we missing something?Many thanks in advance for any advice offered.  

Random one, when trying to listen to the Defected Radio Show on Mixcloud via the S2 app I always get an error 'Unable to play XYZ - the connection to Mixcloud was lost'. While other shows on the same app, listening the exact same way, work fine.Any idea why this might happen for this particular show?Cheers 👍

one by one my Sonos Play 1 speakers have been dropping off my network and then simply refusing to reconnect.  They are all older models but have always worked flawlessly.   It dawned on me that the problems started when I switched from one mesh network (Plum Pod) to a newer (faster) TP Link Deco system.   in reading through the materials here, I’m a bit confused about a couple of things;Is it possible to get my Sonos speakers all working together on this mesh system?  some things I’m reading make it sound like I need to disable the mesh capabilities, which is not an option as I need it for coverage around my house. Would sacrificing one of the speakers as a hard-wired unit (to create a separate Sonos network fix the problem?  I’ve read that this won’t work if there are multiple wireless routers in a mesh network (which is my configuration) would adding a Boost solve the issue? I just purchased a SONOS MOVE 2 and finished the set up.   I initially was able to group with my ARC and SUB,     I then played music from a streaming service an later listened to a book using blue tooth. I can no longer group the MOVE 2 to the ARC and SUB grouping.   I receive an” Unable to group, try again later.”  I verified that I do not have the MOVE connected to blue tooth and it is still connected to WIFI.what should I try?  

If I use era 100 for rear spakers are they mono or do they still work in stereo

Every other day, some of my speakers disappear from the app. It’s not always the same speakers, and checking with two phones might sometimes show different parts of the Sonos system on each phone. The speakers usually reappear after a while (or after power cycling them). But strangely, even when my phone is not showing any speakers at all (yes, this also does happen), I can always see the whole system in the controller on my Windows PC or my Mac. Apparently, the speakers are connected the whole time, for the following reasons:Windows and Mac controllers can always see and control them. I can ping the “missing” speakers from any device on the network. My access points report uninterrupted connectivity to the speakers with great connection quality. I have many Sonos products including the Move and the Move ring charger.  Just noticed the lights blinking red while sitting in the charger. Tried to plug it in and gives me the orange blinking I'm charging lights.The app says, "battery depleted." Please help!I'm afraid this thing is dead.

I’ve been playing SiriusXM on my Sonos speakers for many years with no problems.  Worked great.  Now just over the past few days I keep getting disconnected from SiriusXM.  Every couple of hours I am told “Unable to play the selected item.”  If I try to browse SiriusXM I am told “Unable to browse music.”  The only way around this I find is to remove my SXM account and then go thru the process of adding my SXM account back in.  A lot of unnecessary work.  Is there a fix to this?   This is in the S2 app version 15.9  Thank you.  - Arnie  

Used to be able to control my systems volume with my iPhone keys - not logging into the app.  Function stopped working and not sure how to fix it.

Hey folks,I've got a Sonos Roam and I'm bumping into an issue. To connect it to Airplay, I have to go through the whole process of resetting the device. I just factory reset my two Sonos 1 speakers. I installed Alexa on one of them, and Sonos voice control on the other. For the one with Sonos voice control, I don’t want it to play Alexa music when the other speaker is doing so - but they always both seem to play the music when Alexa is triggered, even though she is not on the second speaker.When I go into the app and look at that speaker, Alexa is not installed as a voice control, only Sonos is. Yet it still plays. How can I fix this?

I have an Arc, sub gen 2 and a pair era 300’s.  I found an old thread that was advising if you have an arc connected via Ethernet, the sub should not be connected Ethernet because of the 5ghz network the home theater setup creates for itself.  The person in the tread had a gen 3 sub and since I have a gen 2, I was wondering if this is still the case.  FYI, I also have 3 other rooms that are all wireless connections  Thanks

All of a sudden, my Play:5 speaker is refusing to group with my Move speaker and vice versa. This is a new problem - I had all speakers grouped as one less than a week ago 

My Ray sound bar is about one year old. It is connected to my TV. Recently it has been making a high pitched alarm/alert siren sound. The sound is deafening so I unplug it and that is the only way it stops. The sound goes off after close to an hour of using the sound bar, but it never did that before. It just started happening last week. Please advise.

I have a Kurzweil keyboard and would like to send its output into my existing Sonos system. I tried to plug it into the input jack of my Sonos 5, but get delay and poor sound. Any suggestions?

In my living room i have an Sonos Amp with 2 passive speakers. In the kitchen and outdoor i have sonos ones. I consider to by a victrola stream turntable. Is it possible to wireless connect this turntable to the Amp, so that i can play vinyl through the passive speakers? The Amp is in a closed tv cabinet, and putting the turntable nearby is not an option.

I just found a FLAC Music File that refuses to play on my S1 System.Two other songs in the same folder play without issue, but I get a SONOS Error Message of :“Unable to Play…. Is is Encoded at Unsupported Sample Rate of 88200 Hz” I went as far as obtaining a 2nd copy and it too Errors with the same Message.I attempted to use AUDACITY to convert it to 44Hz / 24 Bit…. I exported it with those parameters and I get the same message…. This is a new Error I’ve not encountered in my 1600+ Song Library…..Something is somehow embedded causing this….. or simply I am not converting it properly. Suggestions are most welcome! 

Hi, I have an issue with my Sonos soundbar setup.I have a 2021 Samsung AU8000 TV, Sonos Beam Gen 2 (Sonos HDMI cable) and Apple TV 4K 2022 (connected via HDMI 2.1 cable).I have just upgraded from Apple TV 4K 2017 and I started having a strange sound issue with eARC, Pass-through and Dolby Atmos enabled. The sound is distorted - high pitched and out-of-sync.If I disable any of the mentioned options, it goes back to normal. Also, this applies only to content from ATV, all internal Samsung apps sound fine.I’ve upgraded my ATV HDMI cable (no change), updated Sonos to 15.10, re-adopted my Sonos System and tried myriad different options on the TV or ATV.So in conclusion, the only change was upgrading Apple TV from 2017 to 2022 model and the issue appeared.

There is a significant difference in volume when switching from TV to music on my soundbar, ones, sub 5.1 system. Comfortable listening on the TV becomes way to loud when switching over to music. Have to remember to turn down the volume when switching over. Is there any way to adjust this so the volume is the same for both.

ik have a beam gen 1 and  2 Symfonisk lamp gen 1 for surround.  now i upgrade tot symfonisk gen 2 and is not working? compatibel problem? 

I have updated the software on the SONOS app three times. However, every time I launch it, it still wants to update. And then all the options under “Manage” are greyed out. Help

Does Sonos One accept streams from an Audio Streamer e.g. WiiM Mini or Cambridge Audio?
