My phone was able to detect the Play3 but when the Sonos Play 3 was supposed to play an audio code, there was no sound. I tried pressing on the volume up button but there was still no sound. Alternatively, I followed the app prompts and pressed on the play/pause button, but nothing happened either. How do I fix this?My account has no system either since I have not been able to connect to any of my sonos products.

Hi, since late last week, I’m using a Pixel 8 Pro (Android 14).The S2 app connects like a charm and the Sonos widget is behaving just fine when connected tot my WiFi network.But whenever I go outside (or switch to mobile network) and re-enter my WiFi connection, the widget keeps saying: “Not connected to Sonos. Tap here”.  When I tap, the S2 app opens and the widget re-activates.On my OnePlus 7 Pro phone, the Sonos widget immediately notices re-entering WiFi connection and activates back again within seconds.This clearly has something to do with Pixel 8 Pro and/or background services not being allowed, in order to let the widget re-connect.I already excluded the S2 app from the Android battery management, but I’m afraid this doesn’t help. I see no further or in-depth settings that may help to keep the widget polling on reconnecting.Any advise is more than welcome!

Hello If i use timed playback on my ERA100 the green light comes on for a few second's at the end of playback.Wouldn’t be an issue but it’s in the bedroom and wakes you up as your trying to nod off. Cant see a setting that stops this?

Hi, Was thinking about buying the Ultimate Immersive Set with Arc as I’m amazed with it’s sound, but my room configuration would mean that my left wall would much further away that the right wall, like 4m to the left from the rear left speaker and 80cm-1m for my right speaker.Would this cause a major drama in atmos effects etc?I’m assuming it’d be a major problem, but is Sonos smart enough to cope? Oh, and also the ceiling is 3.5 meters high. 

Hi all,I’ve been using an S1 Amp for a decade, it’s still going strong, but I’ve recently moved and have a lot more space where I live - having multiple speakers is now something I’m keen to do.But: my new place is large, and I have a vague memory that the speakers might need to talk via their own wifi network with each other, rather than using my home’s wifi network. If this is the case, I suspect I’m going to have a problem because brick walls and wifi aren’t good friends - I’ve had to put in multiple access points, but if S1 speakers don’t use the existing network, I might be out of luck with this plan.For what it’s worth: the room where the Amp is has an S1 Bridge with an ethernet connection to the rest of the network, but adding more Bridges in other rooms isn’t an option.So: do S1 speakers need to talk to each other directly (via their own mesh wifi), or can they communicate entirely through an existing wifi network?

Having trouble decidingSo I went to Best Buy to test the Beam gen 2 (with sub mini) and Sonos Arc (with sub gen 3). I test both with/without the sub. The Arc I could see why people say it’s better for movies. When I played the demo - Arc had the volume distributed a lot wider. Movie effects like water splashing felt widerHowever, the beam felt a lot punchier (probably because the sound is more direct). The Beam felt more in your face. For the same volume it felt like it was louder. The sound felt a lot clearer for the same volume compared to the arc. I have a 650 sq ft apartment with 12 feet between front and back wall, and a long hallway (30 feet) on my left side and a wall basically directly to my right. Would the arc be better for if I eventually upgrade my TV? Hi. I have just purchased a Synology 224+ NAS and copied my approx 18,000 song Music library across from an old PC that is on it’s way out. All is running fine with Sonos accessing music from the NAS and the Sonos S2 index process completes in a timely manner. The only issue I have is that my approx 30 “Imported Playlists” list is duplicated within Sonos as per the photo “snippet” below.Not a major but does anyone have any clues where the “Imported Playlists” table is built from. iTunes now points at my NAS music share and the playlists only appear once within iTunes as shown below. Ross.

I have just added a second Era:100 to my setup, and have configured the new speaker as a stereo pair in the kitchen with an existing Era:100 in the same room.When I play music from another room (vinyl or cd via a Sonos Port attached to a vintage amplifier) the stereo pair work fine, but when I play BBC Sounds in the kitchen, only one speaker (the original, not the newcomer) plays the stream.I have tried going into the EQ settings in the Sonos app and shifting the balance to the right; this confirms there is no stream to that speaker. The same thing happens when I try Sonos Radio.Both BBC Sounds and Sonos Radio were installed as services before I added the second Era to the setup.Libby was also part of the original set up, and this plays to both speakers. I have rebooted each Era, and have also reauthorised, and removed and then re-added the faulty services, but all to no avail (I also removed and re-created the stereo pair several times during the process of trying to get BBC Sounds to

I used to be able to play music i have stored on my phone and suddenly "this device" option has completly disapered as an option under any tab on the app. I updated by phone and the app, i check permissions, all the file locrion stored on my phone are under music, nothing has changed from when i could play from my phone to now when i cant. This is very frusting as there are some songs i have that arent availiable on streaming services.  How do i fix it?  

I have a touch tunes jukebox and I have it hooked into a Sonos Port. When Sonos detects that music is playing on the Touch Tunes, it switches over. But I have an odd quirk that it won't switch back to my Sonos radio when it's done playing the song. Is there any way to achieve this?

Most of the time when I try to use Napster on my Sonos Roam with the Sonos 2 app I get the message “unable to browse music”. Other music sources work fine. Sometimes after trying to connect to Napster three times if finally connects. Is there a way to fix this?

Sonos beam will not work at all on occasions. When it does work I cannot control the volume. What can I do?

How does Sonos plan to solve the issue of accessing lock screen controls and device hardware button on iOS? Removing that functionality with release 15.6 on July 25, 2023 is a significant impact on the user experience. Our phones are the primary way we control the product so is there a solution other than having to unlock the phone every time we want to control the volume, change a track or turn the system off? Please clarify your plans or provide alternate solutions. Note: I do not use voice controls with my products, so that is not an alternative. Thanks. 

I am building a surround environment with sonos beam gen2 and two sonos one sl.In this environment, the volume of the rear speakers is low when the beam is connected to the TV, is it possible to increase the volume of the rear speakers only?

I’ve done the searching and I’m pretty sure I know the answer is no… but I thought I would check incase something has changed. Setup - Sonos Arc, Sub Mini & Amp. The Arc & Mini are in an area with no ethernet. The Amp is connected to some in-ceiling speakers and the cable runs back to a rack room in our basement. The Amp is in the rack room so it has access to wireless & ethernet but is not in direct wireless range of the Arc Is there anyway to get the surround sound setting working in this setup without re-wiring the house. 

Can I use my Sonos speakers to be used instead of the TV speakers and /or to not use themat all with the TV?  IE:  Can I set them up to be chosen as the go to speakers or not?

I have paired to Moves.  It sounds great and is exactly the right solution for my office.My only issue is that I can only the touch controls on the right speaker function.  The touch controls on the left speaker don’t do anything.I’d prefer that the touch controls worked on both Move speakers, but at a minimum, I would like switch the touch control from the right to left speaker.

Hi! Is it possible to use one Era 100 or 300 speaker as a single TV speaker in this way?Or is one of the sound bars the ONLY simple option?

I have a Sonos Arc in my living room and I would like to add one additional speaker in my kitchen to play the same sound as my TV.  Mainly to listen to the TV while I’m cooking dinner.  I can see the TV from part of my kitchen and currently have to crank up my Arc to be able to hear it clearly.  I don’t need anything fancy so I am thinking a Sonos One?

The Sonos arc rubber base has started to lose its stick holding it on after owning it about 2 ½ years and is dropping down on one side. Will Sonos help me with this as it’s really very disappointing as on the wall mount it now looks terrible.

I currently have a 3rd party receiver that I use for my surround sound system.  If i connect a digital cable from my reveiver optical out to the  Ray's digital in for sound will that connect with my Play 1 speakers for the sound?

There is no access to routers or AP’s in this retirement community and my 94 year old mom would really just like to listen to a little music on her Play One.I do not know what to say to the IT people who are well-intentioned and helpful, in order to get them to help this process.Any advice would be very much appreciated.Thanks, David

Hi there, When tapping into my "My Likes" YTM playlist in the S2 app on Android, I get a message "Unable to browse music."This is a large playlist, and another large playlist in my library has the same problem. From Google searching, I've seen reports from about 2 years ago of the same issue, though it appears that it was resolved back then.I've reinstalled the S2 app, and removed and re-added my YTM account. My sense is that this is caused by the 999 song limit in the YTM API.This playlist worked fine up until very recently, and its been well over 999 songs for a long time. I'll guess that either something has changed on the YTM API side, or the approach Sonos is using to workaround that limit (perhaps fetching only 999 songs from large playlists) is no longer working.I expect a response from Sonos might be that it's a YTM problem, and to contact them, but I do hope that Sonos engineers can take a close look at the Sonos side just to be sure.Thanks for great products, Greg

Hi,I have an existing Project turntable (with built-in phono preamp), an integrated stereo amp, a Sonos port, and external speakers and I’m after thoughts on the best way to connect them up.I could connect the TT (using the built-in phono preamp) to the port, then connect the port to an input (CD?) on the stereo amporConnect the TT (bypassing the built-in phono preamp) to the phono input on the stereo amp, and connect the Port (CD?) to another input on that ampWould either approach produce the same sound quality, or would the DAC in the port provide a better outcome perhaps?Would one approach be better from a user experience perspective e.g. connecting the TT to the Port and using autoplay for line-in, etc thanks in advance 😊

Hello, I installed a Beam 2 and Sub Mini in my family room last week. Had a few issues with the Beam and decided to take it back to Costco for exchange. I did a factory reset on the old beam before boxing it up to go back. When I set up the new Beam, what do I do with the Sub Mini in the ap? Should I remove it from the ap before setting up the new Beam and then re do the sub setup? Thanks
