I currently have surround sound with a Sonos Arc, a Sonos One and Sonos one SL. Is it possible to add a Sonos Era into the mix? If not, is it worth it to swap the two Sonos one's out for the Era? Any advice appreciated.

I have Pandora and spotify set up on sonos. By default when I open up a room Pandora is the default. How do I switch to spotify as my music source for a room? When I choose spotify there is no "play" button. My only choice is "spotify" and "shuffle" and when  I choose spotify it plays on my phone which is where I'm using the app. Assume I need to use "shuffle" as 'm trying out the free version of spotify?

I have had a Sonos set up since April 2017.  I have a pair of Sonos Ones in the kitchen set up as Stereo pair and a TV Soundbar plus Bass unit in the living room.  I have another Sonos one in a room my wife uses as a Studio.  To avoid overload on the house Wi-Fi network I have a separate Sonos Boost plugged into the router.  All of the units are at least five years old.All of this has all worked perfectly until recently when we have started to get ‘drop outs’ on the set up in the living room when playing music or internet radio.  The sound will continue in the kitchen and Studio but drop out for a few seconds in the living room before coming back in again.  Any ideas on what could be the cause?I have done some searching on a possible cause but the suggested answer is poor wi-fi and that I should move a offending unit closer to the source.  I struggle to accept this as for five years everything has worked perfectly and it has only recently started to misbehave.  In any event, the Boost

 Hi, I wanted to know if someone can confirm me that using Airplay from the TIDAL app, the right quality, like Atmos is achieved. In the Tidal app it shows in each track, the correct quality, whether Atmos, 360, flac, etc. In the SONOS App it doesn't say anything in the audio input in “About my System” info.Tidal App playing Atmos track:Airplay setting Tidal App:on Sonos App:I was using the amazon product fireTV with Tidal for Dolby Atmos, but I got this iPad (5th gen) and I was looking at that in the Tidal app during some test.On the sound, I could say the experience is almost identical, I'm not an expert to give a professional opinion. Thanks! Moderator edit: removed identifying information from last picture

Idle Auto Disconnect is turned off and yet ERA 300 speaker shutoff and I have to unplug from the outlet and plug back in for it to reconnect.

I how two Sonos 1s (2nd generation) and the sub mini in my home office.  I am looking to connect a stand alone CD player to this setup.  Which Sonos products (current or discontinued) would accomplish this?

Helloi have a NAD streamer  (bluos DAC C658) and am contemplating getting Era speakers for around our house. Can I use this DAC to stream music to different Era 300 and 100 speakers (in different rooms) over my WIFI? Anything I need to keep in mind for the setup or when using this combination? Thanks!

I have a vintage JVC amp in the following configuration: Audio Technica AT-LP3 turntable JVC AX-1 amplifier Marantz CD-63 cd player  Wharfedale Diamond 220 speakersThis set up is in one room, along with a Sonos Port. A Sonos Era:100 is located in another room, at the other end of the house.I don’t have a manual for the amplifier, but do have a vague recollection concerning a difference between Tape-1 and Tape-2 (an image shows the amp’s connections) -- I have read some posts here and elsewhere that recommend using the tape out/record sockets to connect a vintage amplier to a Sonos Port.So far, I have had mixed results integrating the Port and the Era with this set-up.When the Era in the kitchen is playing Radio 4 via the BBC Sounds app, I can send the signal to the Port and the signal plays in both rooms.However, sending audio the other way is proving to be a bit trickier.After much fiddling/tapping on the app and experimenting with RCA connections between ampliflier and Port, I have s

I have a Beam gen 2 and 2x SL one with a sub mini as a surround home theatre set up. Just purchased 2x era 300 for a complete surround experience. BUT, I can not seem to connect the era 300 correctly. Can someone please help? Moderator edit: changed all “arc” to “era”

Hi, I recently bought a brand new Sonos Move from Japan and I live in New Zealand.  I’m having trouble doing the initial setup via the Sonos mobile app.Launched Sonos app, and discovers the Sonos Move speaker. I tap “Add” App tells me to press the infinity button that’s playing the chime. App connects to Sonos Move successfully. App asks to connect to wifi and I enter my wifi password carefully and verify that it’s correct. Click Connect. App stalls on “Connecting Sonos Move to <my wifi>” for 2 minutes. App says “There was a problem setting up your Sonos Move.  Let’s try something else”.  Tap Continue. App says “Go to iOS Accessory Setup to connect your Sonos Move to your WiFi”.  Tap “Go to Accessory Setup”. After 30 seconds, app says “There was a problem during setup.  Restart your mobile device or use a different one and try again”.I’ve factory reset the device several times and am getting no further.  Some advice would be appreciated.  Thanks. 

This topic is older and might not have the most up to date information. Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. The sound keeps cutting out intermittently on my Sonos 1 speakers. It’s happening in two different rooms.  I have a strong wifi connection 

If I’m playing music on more than one speaker and want to change which speakers, when I click the icon that shows all of the available speakers on our system, uncheck the ones I no longer want it streaming to, then click Done, nothing changes.   The same group of speakers continue to play.    If I do it over and over, maybe uncheck one, click Done a handful of times, eventually it might be removed.   Or try unchecking another, Done, uncheck again, Done, uncheck the same one again, Done, eventually that might be removed too.   But I can never just uncheck a group of them, click Done, and have only the remaining checked speaker(s) be the ones remaining.Anyone else have this problem, and if so, anything that can be done or just a bug in the app?I did try uninstalling the app then reinstalling and logging in again, keeps recurring.     I’m using the most recent version, updated 9/14/23 as of the date of this post.

Is there a way to set the assistants volume (Alexa) at an independent base level that doesn’t change with the arcs volume.  The assistants volume is always too high or too low.

I have two Five’s and the Victrola Stream Carbon. My internet as of late has been slower and I’ve got three kids streaming massive amounts of data all the time haha so I feel like the sound quality of my setup has diminished lately. Even though I have each component plugged into the back of our router. Is there a way to hardwire each speaker to the turntable so everything isn’t reliant on our internet? TIA. 

I have sonos connect (ist version)hard wired and use the latest app 15.8.1  and  sonos  os2.   Music will play, then all of a sudden it will stop for about 5-10 seconds, then start to play again.  this process can go on all day. I’ve unplugged connect and my router. waited about 30 secs and restarted my router then in about 2 minutes later plugged connect back on.  This will help for about half the day, then the music drops again and process of dropping music continues.  any solutions is greatly appreciated   thx!

Hi ~ I've had a Sonos 5 and use it daily since 2021. Recently it disconnected, which frequently happens, but this time the prompt says the Sonos is unregistered/unused and must be factory reset. 1) I don't know how to reset this device 2) Will resetting delete my many playlists? Grrrr... Also getting a msg the product can't reconnect to our Wi-Fi. Nothing has changed with router, Wi-Fi, etc in our home. Super frustrated. Have unplugged/replugged the Sonos, the router, the coffeemaker HA! Still silence. I miss my music terribly! Thank you!

Hello, we added a Beam 2 and a Sub Mini to our system this week. Have had the Amp about a year and love it. Last night when watching a movie on Prime there was a loud scene with folks yelling in a court room and suddenly the Beams volume dropped to around half what it was and then returned to where it was. Was 1-2 seconds so I didn’t have time to look at the App. I can’t find any settings or issues in the app. Do I need to exchange the Beam for a new one or anything I can do to be sure it is ok and not a bad unit?

Working on my outdoor set up. I have optical connection. Running a long distance from outside TV. I want to put a Sonos amp outside, but don’t know how to adapt Sonos amp to optical connection coming in. 

I have the playbar, two rear speakers and a sub woofer in two different rooms using the S2 app. All products are showing on the app and connected to the system. However, dining room and bedroom are grouped together for some reason ( they were not until today) and I cannot separate them. Please advise on how to separate them so that the sound from the dining room is not playing through the bedroom speakers. 

I like to listen to entire albums, and if I enjoy them,  I want to save the artist and album name in some directory so that I can recall them when I’m choosing something to play at a later time. No need to create a playlist. Napster does this perfectly but it has so many connection issues that it has become close to worthless. Is there another service that meets these requirements?

my Sonos one speaker fades in and out when listening to TV since I stopped My cable TV. I still have Fios internet and the speed is much faster now. Sonos sound bar and rear surround speakers seem fine.
