There is an “update now” button on my S2 Controller on my MacBook but I am having trouble updating it. I have not had issues in the past updating the app on my MacBook. I keep getting an error during the install process that says “Sonos Update Failed. An unexpected error occurred. Please try again”. (Screenshot of Error attached) I have tried it again several times and keep getting the same error. I am running Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1. Anyone know a fix?   

The Sonos app suddenly not working with the iOS lock screen control and volume button anymore, suspect it happen after the Sonos iOS app updates. So far I had tried:Restart the iPhone and make sure the iOS and Sonos App having latest version Reset Sonos app Reset + uninstall + reinstall app Off and on Sonos ERA300 and do the above Research all possible solutions from Google but nothing helps yet :( All of this not working, my app version is 15.6 build 74043110 with iPhone 14 Pro iOS 16.6. Is anyone facing the same issue or this is a known software bug?

Hello everyone,A few months ago Sonos put out an update (I have no idea which one, but I’m sure they do!) which has effectively stopped my personal music library from indexing.I can run the “Update Music Library” as many times as you wish, and I systematically receive the same error message:The music is stored on a NAS - which has no issues.The network is working perfectly well.This is a known issue with Sonos - I have sent logs and talked to their Service Centre.I simply can’t understand why this issue is not being dealt with! They have known about it for months, but no answers?Getting seriously worried that their teams are focusing only on streaming, and abandoning the thousands of clients like myself with libraries  to which we hold dear, and want to be able to use as one of our sources of listening to music!Hope someone out there has some answers - because Sonos certainly doesn’t!!Gerard

With the Roam SL can you stream anything to it?  It’s not limited to just streaming services?   thanks 

Lately, it has happened at certain times of the day when streaming radio on Sonos (TuneIN), I lose the connection. Sometimes I hear signals from another devices in the group. It's almost like it's a bad internet line, but I have fiber with 1GB both ways, so capacity shouldn't be an issue here. Have tried changing to different channels in the app without this helping the problem. I have tried to change radiochannels and to stream from Aplle music, with the same problems. Any ideas what the problem is?

Hello,I've reviewed a lot of other threads but can't find a similar problem. My setup: Old Sony TV (no e-arc)PS5 (primary media device)Sonos Arc + 2x Play 1 as surrounds I recently introduced an HDMI switch with a Toslink extractor to resolve audio syncing. Toslink out to toslink/HDMI adapter to Sonos Arc and HDMI out to TV to bypass TV audio processing entirely.  First oddity: it all works well and I can get Dolby Digital 5.1 and full surround audio on the PS5 interface and any gaming, but when streaming Disney+ or Netflix, there's no sound coming from the rear speakers at all, despite the app showing 5.1 while this content is playing.  Second oddity: a second input device is a GoogleTV and in this configuration it's outputting everything in full Dolby Atmos, which is great! Definitely not complaining, but out of curiosity, how is this happening over toslink? Any help is appreciated!  

So I recently moved from house and had to do the setup over again, and must’ve done something wrong. Before the move, I used to be able to play music one the one SL even the sub mini and the beam 2, now, whenever those are off I’m not able to find the One SL even though the light is on and it’s configured to the internet… What should I try?

Toshiba TV has ½ and Mute cycle. When I hit ½ mute it works, then hit it again and the TV shows Mute 0, but the volume goes back to normal. But I do this cycle for the second time it works as it should and the TV is muted. I have a Ray and Sub.

Has anyone used a single Five as a rear speaker with an Arc / Sun Gen 3 set up. 

Whenever there is a loud sound during a movie (like an explosion) the volume suddenly turns way down and I cannot turn it back up. I have to turn off tv and turn back on to reset it. I have the TV plugged into sonos amp via HDMI and using sonance in wall speakers. Any suggestions?

I listen to radio A or I listened to radio A the day before, I ask SVC for radio B, answer "ok good choice" but Sonos remains on radio A, I ask for radio B again, answer "ok..." and it's radio B finally.Sonos Roam 15.9Thanks

Roam wouldn’t work at hotel using their internet? 

Sonos Arc is connected via HDMI ARC. When my family is asleep and I want to watch quietly I try to switch to Bluetooth headphones/earphones. Seconds later audio switches back to my Sonos, causing me to not be able to use my other audio devices (e.g. AirPods). How do I fix this? My AirPods aren’t compatible with my game systems, so I use to connect via Bluetooth through my TV (Samsung). Any help would be very appreciated.

I bought Roam whilst travelling but having difficulty setting it up with the hotel wifi and my phone. It keeps timing out whilst trying to set up. Any suggestions? 

Hi - is there any way to work around the seemingly arbitrary limit on the number of radio stations I can save to My Sonos? I have reached the limit which is quite annoying.

I’m in Ireland and using a Sonos One. Under Services and Voice==> Music and Content I have Audible. When I click ‘Add a Service’ to add Amazon Music I have 79 options, but ‘Amazon Music’ is not one of those options.Would anybody know how I could make it appear?

I ask Alexa to start a radio and she tells me that she is starting it but nothing happens even though it was working correctly the day before yesterday. Does anyone have an idea?

I am very disappointed with Sonos, because I spent 1700€ for an ARC soundbar and a subwoofer.And now I find myself with a system that works badly, because I have a Connect Amp from 2014. Something I have to control with App1 and something else with App 2.If I don't have my phone I can't adjust the volume of the associated speakers via cable.If I had known that I have to spend another €500 to be able to control the volume with the TV remote control, I would never have bought Sonos!Then I don't understand, you do a promotion to solve your problems but you force me to spend more, why don't you give me a refurbished one with a discount.I spent all this money, thinking of buying the top I find myself in an embarrassing situation, either I spend more money or I sell everything, because it's not manageable like this.has anyone solved differently?

My mobile device tells me music is playing on my Move but no sound comes out. New WiFi was installed four days ago. Move was working well before that, and seems fine now except for total silence! I’ve added it as a new product three or four times and all goes smoothly but still, no sound emerges. I’d be grateful if anyone could offer a new strategy to try.

When I ask “Hey google play abc on Youtube Music” it replies “Sure playing abc on YT music” but then puts on a completely different song. Sometimes it will get the artist or album right, but never the song.

My connect speaker stopped working and I cannot add it back to the system. Has blinking red light and will not clear with a factory reset. Sonos can’t see the connect box anymore WTH happened. My factory reset consists on powering on the connect box while holding the pause/forward button. Amber light comes on briefly, and then straight to flashing red. 

HiI recently had to update my home cinema composed of 1 Arc / 1 Sub Gen3 / 2 one SL. as the update would not go through, I reset all products individually, reboot my router and trued adding back each product to the same Sonos virtual room. The 2 one SL paired correctly with the system and updated correctly as well. I could pair them together as a stereo without problem. The Arc paired correctly and did not require an update. the Sub Gen 3 pairs corrctly with the system, connects to the wifi, but fails to be « added to the system » or to the « sonos account ». Can anyone help out?
