Hi Guys, I have my Tv connected to Sonos Beam —> two in-ceiling with Amp—> and Sub Mini.Can i add 2x Era 100 to existing setup for better experience as I feel in ceiling is not giving enough surround feel.  Thanks in advance 

Multiple Sonos Ports in separate installations. One or multiple Ports will drop its connection ( was selected in the app, but then drops ). The Ports are all hardwired. Go back into the app select again, it will play for a few minutes and then drop again. This happens across multiple Ports at multiple locations. It is not location specific. Reboots of the switch, and modem have no effect on the behavior.Anyone else seeing similar behavior over a hardwired Ethernet network?

I have purchased a sub gen 3 in the hope to connect to my playbar. The sub finds the network, connects and then drops out. I’ve rebooted my router several times but it will not hold the connection.  I have rebooted all devices, reset an everything and reset the router. Still unable to connect. I’ve attempted from iPad, iPhone and iMac - nothing seems to be working.  I am now losing the will to keep the sub as it seems to be a very expensive device which is collecting dust! Any help would be gratefully appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi FolksNow sure if you can help but I have purchased a Sub Mini and despite doing a factory reset 3 times now, it sets up fine but just will not appear on my app and therefore I can’t link it to my existing Sonos Beam.I am out of ideas. I have unplugged the router and re-connected, factory reset the sub 3 times. It says that the product may not appear on the app and to rectify the issue simply unplug the Sub Mini and plug it in again. I did that a few times. Didn’t work.Surely it should be a very very simple process so why can’t I seem to get it working?Thanks in advanceGav

Hi. I have two five speakers connected in pair stereo. I have  connected a diferent source to every speaker, Tv and a turntable, but I would like to control wich source to listen if both of them are working.

Hi.  Is anyone successfully running Sonos S2 with Mac Ventura OS and connecting to their own music library stored on their Mac book?Given the problems I’m having connecting & as Ventura is relatively new, I wonder if there isn’t yet a fix for this?I love the sound quality of our Sonos but my loyalty is fading fast.Thanks

I have Play 3, sub and playbar in the lounge and the same set up upstairs, except the rears are Play 1. For months the sound in both rooms has been unstable, with songs cutting out for about ten seconds and the sound returning, sometimes stopping completely or the sound stopping in the rears and only coming out of the playbar, only to revert to normal a few seconds later. I use the S2 app. If I use the back button to start a track again it usually plays normally. Wireless has been checked in the house and is working as it should. Any suggested resolutions welcome. Thank you. 

I have my ARC connected to my TV. Is there a way to mute the TV sound, and stream music to my ARC? Essential looking to listen to music and have the TV on with no volume. TIA

When I look at my sono, I Can not turn on the microfon. It doesn’t turn Blue or give any Sound when I pres “the buttom” 

I must be missing something obvious.  i have added all sorts of playlists, etc to “My Sonos,” but “My Sonos” does not appear in the iOS app. It’s on the desktop app, but not iOS. 

HiI recently installed have a Sonos Arc and Sub setup with two one SL surrounds. Is it possible to connect one Sonos play 5 to the system. Will the app allow it to be paired with the arc. If so possible how can it be done?  I recently went to a friends place and he had two sonos sub and two fives as surrounds which gave awesome sound for music. I was hoping to add one 5 to the setup as I cant return my one SL now and so that I could get more sound especially for music.  

I have a surround setup on my TV (Arc, 2 x Ones and Base). I recently bought a Sonos Move.When playing music on YouTube via my TV i would like to ability to add my Sonos Move as its positioned another part of my open plan kitchen and living area.I know i can select each Sonos device and group when playing via my mobile but how can I do that when playing through my TV? BTW: I am aware Move cannot be connected to surround setup.

I recently purchased the Pro-Ject 1 turntable and Sonos Five.Frankly, I am disappointed in how loud the system is…it’s in a rather cavernous room. Would adding a Sonos sub and another Five make it “louder” or do I need to abandon ship and get some standing floor speakers to get the sound I’m looking for?

REPOST of a previous thread, but after all it was not resolved.Hi, I have an issue with my Sonos soundbar setup.I have a 2021 Samsung AU8000 TV, Sonos Beam Gen 2 (Sonos HDMI cable) and Apple TV 4K 2022 (connected via HDMI 2.1 cable).I have just upgraded from Apple TV 4K 2017 and I started having a strange sound issue with eARC, Pass-through and Dolby Atmos enabled. The sound is distorted - high pitched and out-of-sync.If I disable any of the mentioned options, it goes back to normal. Also, this applies only to content from ATV, all internal Samsung apps sound fine.I’ve upgraded my ATV HDMI cable (no change), updated Sonos to 15.10, re-adopted my Sonos System and tried myriad different options on the TV or ATV.So in conclusion, the only change was upgrading Apple TV from 2017 to 2022 model and the issue appeared. Additional findings:Tried resetting via @GuitarSuperstar method. It now sometimes works fine (multi-channel PCM), other times switches back to Stereo PCM, other times glitches

Hi all,I have a question. We are constructing a new house which has a medium/large kitchen area. I want a stereo setup in this kitchen. The speakers will have to be placed close to the ceiling (cannot do in-ceiling), the ceiling is quite high at 3,30m.I’m considering a pair of ERA 100’s (mounted at around 3,20m height) combined with a Sub Gen3. However, I cannot find any info online about this setup. Is this not a suitable setup? Or will it work? Or what other setup would you advise?Thanks in advance. Job 

The Sonos app seems to become more unstable by each update. Almost weekly I need to uninstall the app and reinstall. I cannot connect to my existing system as it cannot find any speakers.For example today it could not find my Arc so I setup a new install, waiting for the green light, it found the Arc, connected, connected to my network (2.4 ghz) and then I selected DONE. I go back to look at System and it is still greyed out. Nothing there. I have checked and restarted both my phone and modem 3 times. I repeated setup 3 times and the same process of finding and adding the Arc occurred by then System greyed out and cannot select it.  My setup:Samsung S23 UltraSonos Arc with Sonos Sub Mini2 x Sonos Move2’s set up as a stereo pair I tried Sonos support and they don’t have a clue -- rarely can they fix anything from my experience. I am at the end of my rope having to reinstall and run setup so many times (i think I am at around 15 times now) and I have had to do the same on the Move2’s 6 t

Hi - I am considering purchasing the ARC soundbar to set up surround sound for my TV.  I already have in-wall wired rear speakers as well as in-wall wired third party subwoofer.   I had a couple of questions on set up:1. I think I can set up the rear speakers using a Sonos AMP that will connect to the ARC, but then how do I connect the third party subwoofer - do I connect it through that the Sonos AMP that the rear speakers are connected to or does it somehow connect to the ARC?I’ve read elsewhere on these blogs that if I use the TV remote to control the sound of the TV, that the ARC volume changes but the rear and subwoofer volumes need to controlled separately on my Sonos App.  Is that true? Is there a workaround for that? For the subwoofer, if the setup in #1 doesn’t work for the TV, would this set up work for music at least? 

I want to connect a Sonos 5 to a legacy hifi amp which has a turntable and cd player connected to it. The cd player has an optical connection, not RCA. The speaker wire terminals on the amp are spring loaded not RCA. Is there a way of connecting this to the 5's 3.5mm input? 

Today's issue: Have a beam and 2 Ones, connected beam to router via ethernet and HDMI to arc HMDI on TV. Things tend to work BUT I have 2 issues that keep happening. 1) TV box (android box from Bell) keeps resetting and/or picture and sound stop for a second or two before coming back on OR TV box resets and produces a solid green screen and sometimes a nice bright magenta colour. 2) when listening to music via sonos app all of a sudden the sound will stop playing music and TV will start all on its own. Had Bell technican (I am in Toronto) here this am to trouble shoot new router with direct fiber connecting 1GB service and still having the issue.

I have recently bought an ARC and have it connected to an LG TV.This works fine, but when looking at the instructions to switch on Speech Enhancement. I do not get the box at the bottom of the screen to then select the Speech Enhancement option. The app is on IOS, which is 17.1.1 and the Sonos App and the Arc and sub are both at the latest versions.I can see what is playing on a PLAY 1 and open the similar box to what is being suggested here:https://support.sonos.com/en-ie/article/make-dialogue-easier-to-hear-with-speech-enhancement?language=enAny help would be appreciated.Thanks. 

I was using my sonos roam by bluetooth to play an audio from youtube video and all of the sudden it’s broken. It let out a loud sound and i can’t even turn off the device. I tried pressing and holding the power button for sometime and it’s still not getting off. The device shows a blue light but it is not blinking like when it was when we want to connect through bluetooth. This happened around 1 hour of using it. I had this speaker for around 3-4 weeks already. How to fix it?  Moderator edit: combined posts

How can I connect my play 1 speakers  to a play 5 ? It's not compatible or what ?

Hi,I’m currently having this issue in which my lg hu70lab projector can no longer play sound to the era 300 using bluetooth even when connected, which has worked before. Both devices are able to connect and play sound to other devices such as my phone, earbuds, and other speakers. I’ve also factory reset both the projector and era 300 with no fix. From the little I’ve gathered from other forums; the only reason left can be the new 15.10 sonos system update messing with some bluetooth connections. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
