I would like to purchase the Sonos Era 300 stands but am concerned about their stability on carpet, given the speaker’s weight. I know Sanus makes a version with carpet spikes but the speaker height is too low for my setup. Does anyone have experience with using the Sonos stands on thick carpet?

I don’t have carpet so no help there.
You can get a variety of add-on speaker stand spikes for very reasonable prices or a carpet base with spikes that the Sonos stand would rest on for a bit more if you find the Sonos stands unstable.

Thanks, Stanley. I also talked to Sonos. The agent I spoke with said he didn’t think it would be a problem on carpet and that I could return it if felt unstable.
