I recently upgraded my router with spectrum to their smart router 6e.Since the router change i keep losing connection to my speakers it will not show up in my app when i click on system.Seems like i have to reboot my router unplug all my speakers to get them all back. But i dont want to keep doing this.I have read some forums that people are having trouble with the new spectrum router and the sonos system.If this is true can you recommend a router that works best with Sonos 

I have got a Beam and Play:1 in my living room. Have got other Sonos speakers in other room but no speaker with line in. Want to get a turntable and looking into alternatives.Sonos Port have got an autoplay alternative, and if I understand it correctly, should automatically be able to play the turntable sound to a Sonos group when the turntable starts to play.Era 100 has got a line in possibility and is quite cheaper than Port. However, as I already have other speakers in my living room the Era 100 will never be used to play anything. Will it be able to autoplay the music like the Port or it will play on it self and I then need to group it with living room-group?

Hi there, I am thinking of buying a pair of oneSL’s to use as surround sound for my TV. I already have a Beam and wondering if the pair of one SL’s will work with the Beam or connect to the Beam etc to act as surround sound?If anyone else has any help or suggestions if something else works better. I am a Noob

This is really getting to me know it’s been on going for months,  Whenever I play the 2 paired up kitchen speakers there’s a delay when using the volume and also when changing tracks, it only happened on my kitchen speakers.if I play my kitchen speakers with the playbar and use the volume the playbar works fine but there’s still a delay with the kitchen speakers. It makes no difference if I hardwire my connect which is the only one pretty near the router for sonosnet or I just use WiFi I have a play one upstairs which is the farthest from the router but that is perfect, it’s just the ones in the kitchen that this happens on. ive reset everything many times, unplugged, etc but stil a slow response on those speakers. They also relatively near the router too. So frustrating, Sonos problem or router problem god knows. I was convinced it was a poor quality Ethernet cable so I’ve just bought a better one but it’s made no difference at all 🤦🏼

Hello forum. New SONOS user here. Also new to HDMI ARC. Sorry if dumb question.I have: TV (w/HDMI ARC), Xbox, non-SONOS passive speakers.Can I buy a Sonos AMP, connect it to TV HDMI ARC, connect Xbox to TV HDMI (different input), connect speakers to Sonos Amp, and still get sound out from the Xbox to the passive (non TV) speakers? Not sure how HDMI ARC works. Thanks...

I have two Bluetooth audio transmitters which I use to transm an analog hifi system to my Sonos Era300 stereo pair. They are the generic M6 and RT-B6 transmitters. Everything used to work just fine until recently when any audio from them stopped being output by the Sonos speakers.These days the devices still connect just fine, the connection tone plays and the blue LED lights steadily and in the app it shows the device as being connected, there's just no sound at all.The Era300s still output audio from my mobile phones just fine when connected via BT. Also the audio from the transmitters comes through just fine when I connect them to other non-Sonos speakers. It seems to be an issue just between the audio transmitters and the Sonos speakers only.Has anyone else had this issue recently? Any fixes known for it?

Does anyone know if the popping sound with the base of the Sonos one will be solved? I read all the community messages but there is no solution. A replace seems not to fix the issue since I also had that and you guys too. Indeed, true play seems to increase it but still without it I have the issue when played base heavy songs. This is a nightmare because the sound of Sonos is amazing but they seem not to be able to fix this..

I am fairly new to using Sonos and streaming services. I have found a streaming service, Presto Music, that is not listed on the Sonos list of streaming services that I can access and add. Can I add a streaming service not listed? If so. how do I do it?Thank you.

i have 2 amp which are each connected to 4 in-ceiling speakers in 2 different rooms and I love having music as I move from room to room.  I would also like to enjoy the same music on a separate floor, without installing ‘in ceiling’ speakers.  Is there a way to do this?

Hi Another bizarre, confusing issue with Sonos Arc connectivity to Alexa.Arc stopped responding to voice commands, even though set up correctly, skills enabled in Alexa app etc. I think it’s a conflict between the Arc and my Kindle Fire HD. Ie, the voice command is only heard thru the Kindle, not the Arc. If I disable the skill on the Alexa app on the Kindle, it reiterates that status, disabled etc. (Ie thru the Kindle)If the Kindle is off, no sound thru either Arc or Kindle and no response to voice command.What’s weird:1. This has only occurred in last few days. Kindle has been on and in same room as Arc for months, without this glitch?2. When I checked Alexa app on Kindle, it initially didn’t recognise any devices anyway. Now it does.3. Alexa app was running happily on iPhone alongside Arc. Suggests that it’s only conflicting with the Kindle?4. I’ve noticed the Alexa app lists the Arc (“living room”) and TV (“living room TV”. Is that right? I’ve tried disabling and re enabling but no

The s2 app is * (s1 never had any issues at all) , we all know that, constant updates that break more stuff than they fix, more and more ridiculous is becomes, today i open it up and now i have to click my way through fullscreen adds in order to update so i can experince the ‘this can’t be played’ ‘there was an error playing that song’ ‘there is currrently a problem playing that song’  ‘ we are having problems playing this and that’...but the latest update made sure that the animations is changed so that they don’t look like the animations did when they were updated in the update before that update. Hey all, Recently purchased my first piece of Sonos kit (ERA 300) and absolutely loving the sound quality but i am having one issue that I am hoping the community can help with. When I play music from my Spotify iPhone app to the ERA 300 via Wi-Fi (good quality internet connection) it connects quickly however sometimes when I pause the music for 10 minutes or more the connection between Spotify and the speaker drops. Meaning I have to re connect my phone to the speaker device again. Does anyone know how I keep the connection active after pausing the music for a period of time or is there some default auto disconnect setting I may not be aware of ? I did read somewhere that my wi-fi could be automatically switching channels and causing the issue but im not sure... Any help would be appreciated.

Hey all, had a quick look at this topic, but didn't find a super clear answer yet, apologies if I've missed it. All I own is the Sonos Arc, worked great for streaming music, however I've recently upgraded my internet package and with that everything is on 5ghz. Trying to connect the arc to WiFi for streaming I got an error stating it can't connect to 5g only 2.4? Is there no fix for this? Thanks in advance

I recognise I may not even be asking the right question … I have SONOS Play 1 speakers wired in to my home network. Due to the track limit on the SONOS Player app I want to use JRiver on a Windows PC as my media centre (data is on a NAS).For JRiver to play to the SONOS speakers apparently the PC needs to recognise them (or one of them) as audio devices. It can see them as devices on the home network ok, but not as audio devices. Can this be done with just the hardware i already have? To be clear, I don’t need them as the computer speakers - but do want JRiver on the PC to be able to play to them.

I’ve been after a soundbar for a long time. Playbar would have been perfect but tech has moved on and with BF there are a few really attractive deals for the Arc.The TV is in a recess area that is 155cm / 61 inches wide, the Arc is 114cm / 45 inches wide. This gives the Arc 20cm / 8 inches either side. Would the side firing speakers reverberate off the side walls detorting the sound? Or is it possible to turn them off completely.please excuse the condition, currently preparing for carpets and skirting etc  

Hello All,i bought a new tv (hisense 58 a7gq, see specs below), a beam gen 2 , 2 era 100 and a sub mini.the problem is the sound when I use the Apple TV 4K : it’s really bad.the same movie played with the TV gives a beautiful sound (but a quite less Sharp image though)is there a way to fix this issue ?  Does it have something to do with the settings ?
