PCM Stero via blu ray player

Hello, when playing a blu ray via my LG blu ray player I only get PCM stero. Doesn't matter what settings on my Samsung CU8000 TV or on the blu ray player itself. I've swapped out the HDMI cable just in case and no change. The blu ray is connected via HDMI 3 on my TV.

The Bean Gen 2 is connected to the TV via the eArc HDMI port.

Any thoughts or advice please ?

Set the TV to these settings:

HDMI-eARC Mode: Auto

Digital Output Audio Format: Pass-Through

Set the Blu-ray player to these settings:

Digital Output: Auto (for Dolby-encoded discs), PCM (for DTS-encoded discs)

DRC: Off

Thank you for your reply. I made the changes to the TV settings as you described and when watching a DVD yesterday it showed Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0 which is in line with the format of the DVD (it was an old one). I will continue to monitor.
