I have an older model Sonos that will not connect in my new apartment. I am trying to do it wirelessly as I do t have a plug for wired. The system is not finding my Sonos. The speaker will not flash green only white or orange. I have tried to reset and reboot but nothing is working. 

Hi All. It’s a relief that Sonos has identified the bug that’s causing the bass distortion in Sonos Arc. Thank you @Ryan S for working with the Sonos Communty to identify the problem quickly. Having said this, I believe that Sonos still needs more work to make the Arc sound as it was advertised. Currently, multiple people on Reddit including myself are reporting the highs being too high which sort of feels “harsh”. This improve the speech clarity and brings out details in the movies, but the warmth in speech is lost because the voices sound thin and metallic (for eg. actors I know having heavy voices don’t sound heavy). I was expecting the mid-range to be a lot better considering the Arc has 8 woofers.  I have tried TruPlaying twice without success (Turning TruPlay off produces muffled sound). Adjusting the treble also did not help much. Loudness turned on and off does not make a big difference either. May be, this is how the Arc is tuned?!  Anyone else feels that Arc is over-empha

Bought new amp to connect tv to the good speakers that are already in place. The amp plays Apple Music etc through the speakers but the TV will not play the sound through the speakers. I have tried both HDMI ARC and tried optical output the the adapter.

Hi there,after the latest Sonoma update 14.1.1. streaming to sonos works without wifi enabled for me… but another issue remains:I am straming a youtube video… From the sound menue I have selected the sonos speaker I want to stream the sound to. Video starts, it takes 1-2 seconds before the sound can be heared… OK… Now I am pausing the stream to fiulfill another task… coming back to the youtube stream and starting it again: the video runs but for the sound I have to wait 15 seconds to come back….NOT Acceptable.. any hints?

Hi all, i have a ZP90 with an external DAC and i want to check whether the ZP90 can output 24bit audio via the digital output or do i need to upgrade to a Port? my whole system is S1 so would prefer not to have to create two systems but would love to try UHD audio.  

Every now and then my beam gen2 and sub mini disappear off my system would creating a Sonos wired  system help and is it easy to do

Hi all,On Friday I ordered the Sonos Arc but quickly called the store to cancel my order when I found out that DTS-HD was not supported, however on doing more research it appears there are ways to get DTS-HD content playing via PCM. It's shame, as the Sonos Arc is almost perfect for my needs except for this one key omission. What I want to know is - how would I go about getting the DTS-HD support via PCM? Does anyone here have a Sony TV, Panasonic Player and Sonos Arc who has achieved this? If possible, I'd like to still get the Arc if I can make it work for my setup. I have until Monday to decide on the order, so I hope there is an option.I'm not too bothered about DTS:X, most of my 4K discs have Atmos support. It's just my 1080p Blu-ray collection that is 90% DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1.Seen a few posts on this already, but they are all related to LG TVs.Thank you in advanced for your help,- Alex

I have a sonos arc. I also have a KEF KC62 sub (wired) and would like to pair them. Any help how can I bridge the two together? I know there is a device to make the KEF KC62 wireless, then i can bridge the two so i can control from the sonos app. please list the item(s) i would need and how ? thanks

Ok, I’m getting crazy. I have approximately 12 Sonos speakers, that decided to create a bunch of different Sonos Systems. I have 4 systems total on my network.  I tried to unplug everything (modem, router, etc.) and replug in order, but it’s still not working. Is there a way to fusion those different networks in a single one?  If now, what else can I do? One of the really frustrating thing is that some of my pairs are now on seperate network. 

I have an amp and two sonos in ceiling rear speakers setup for my tv. The tv is connected to the amp with HDMI. I just purchased a Beam Gen2. How do I add this to my current setup? Do I plug the tv into the Beam? Or keep it connected to the amp?

I have an amp connected to my tv to work speakers in ceiling.  I purchased the beam 2nd generation and the sub mini.  I don’t know what to connect to what?  Says to connect Beam to HDMI Arc on TV but the amp is connected to it. ...now what?

Originally, after working for a couple years, suddenly my Roam couldn’t connect to any stations.  If I grouped it with other players, it worked fine.  Ungrouped and it can’t connect on its own.  So, I rebooted it (turned off by pressing power button for 5 seconds removed from charger).  That didn’t work.  So I figured I’d remove it and add the device back in.  I did a Reset to factory settings.  Then as I added the Roam back to my system, it made it thru all the steps (WiFi included) except the final one of Linking device to my account.  That’s where it fails now, every time.  When I login to Sonos.com, I see the Roam device (by serial number) in the list of my devices.  I now wonder if there’s a bug where it can’t link to my account because it’s already there.  Frustrating.  Anyone else been thru this?

HelloWe have several Sonos products and all work fine with the Sonos 2 (S2) app.  However, we have just moved into a property with Sonos speakers fitted to the ceilings and these are operated by the Sonos S1 app.Whilst we are successfully able to play music to the ceiling speakers from Sonos Radio (via the S1 app), we simply cannot add a Music Service to the S1 app.  We have tried several times but when selecting ‘Add a Service’ from the Services & Voice menu, no other music service appears and all that happens is a spooling wheel (as if the S1 app is looking for a music service).  The only music we can play is from Sonos Radio.We want to add Amazon Music (U.K.) to the S1 app and, if possible, BBC Sounds - but the main source of our music is via Amazon Music. Why is the S1 app not finding any music services.  Are we missing something?Many thanks in advance for any advice offered.  

Random one, when trying to listen to the Defected Radio Show on Mixcloud via the S2 app I always get an error 'Unable to play XYZ - the connection to Mixcloud was lost'. While other shows on the same app, listening the exact same way, work fine.Any idea why this might happen for this particular show?Cheers 👍

one by one my Sonos Play 1 speakers have been dropping off my network and then simply refusing to reconnect.  They are all older models but have always worked flawlessly.   It dawned on me that the problems started when I switched from one mesh network (Plum Pod) to a newer (faster) TP Link Deco system.   in reading through the materials here, I’m a bit confused about a couple of things;Is it possible to get my Sonos speakers all working together on this mesh system?  some things I’m reading make it sound like I need to disable the mesh capabilities, which is not an option as I need it for coverage around my house. Would sacrificing one of the speakers as a hard-wired unit (to create a separate Sonos network fix the problem?  I’ve read that this won’t work if there are multiple wireless routers in a mesh network (which is my configuration) would adding a Boost solve the issue? What other options are there?  My Play 5 is still working (though it frequently drops and reconnects while pla

I just purchased a SONOS MOVE 2 and finished the set up.   I initially was able to group with my ARC and SUB,     I then played music from a streaming service an later listened to a book using blue tooth. I can no longer group the MOVE 2 to the ARC and SUB grouping.   I receive an” Unable to group, try again later.”  I verified that I do not have the MOVE connected to blue tooth and it is still connected to WIFI.what should I try?  

If I use era 100 for rear spakers are they mono or do they still work in stereo 

We got a new modem and now we can't connect with our Sonos any help would be awesome 

Every other day, some of my speakers disappear from the app. It’s not always the same speakers, and checking with two phones might sometimes show different parts of the Sonos system on each phone. The speakers usually reappear after a while (or after power cycling them). But strangely, even when my phone is not showing any speakers at all (yes, this also does happen), I can always see the whole system in the controller on my Windows PC or my Mac. Apparently, the speakers are connected the whole time, for the following reasons:Windows and Mac controllers can always see and control them. I can ping the “missing” speakers from any device on the network. My access points report uninterrupted connectivity to the speakers with great connection quality. I have many Sonos products including the Move and the Move ring charger.  Just noticed the lights blinking red while sitting in the charger. Tried to plug it in and gives me the orange blinking I'm charging lights.The app says, "battery depleted." Please help!I'm afraid this thing is dead.

I’ve been playing SiriusXM on my Sonos speakers for many years with no problems.  Worked great.  Now just over the past few days I keep getting disconnected from SiriusXM.  Every couple of hours I am told “Unable to play the selected item.”  If I try to browse SiriusXM I am told “Unable to browse music.”  The only way around this I find is to remove my SXM account and then go thru the process of adding my SXM account back in.  A lot of unnecessary work.  Is there a fix to this?   This is in the S2 app version 15.9  Thank you.  - Arnie
