Check your music source is in stereo, that the cable has a stereo jack into your Five, and that the jack is fully inserted into the socket.

Yes, you should be able to get stereo from any Line-In source.
Check your music source is in stereo, that the cable has a stereo jack into your Five, and that the jack is fully inserted into the socket.

I couldnt see the forest for all the trees …
Next time maybe I should start with checking the connections especially the one that goes into the TT preamp … before I start solving complex software isues and so on :-):-)
