My Sonos Arc is connected via HDMI eARC to Sony Bravia XR X90J.I have noticed a random cracking/popping/clicking sound in my Sonos Arc while playing audio or sequences with heavy bass. This does not always happen. For example, while playing STRANGER THINGS Season 4 on Netflix with Dolby Atmos, I notice no issue despite the show's excessive bass. On the other hand, playing CLASS, especially the Episode 6 pre-credit intro scene, the cracking/clicking/popping sound is so loud. I noticed similar sounds while playing YOUNG SHELDON season 6 on prime video. The cracking/clicking/popping sound fades away if I reduce the bass to -10. If I increase the bass to +8, the sound gets louder.I have tried restarting the unit, removing the HDMI cable, re-attaching it and restarting the TV itself, etc. Sometimes doing this makes things go back to normal, but it does not always work. Also, it's not a long-term solution. Need a permanent fix for this. I need to know if it's a hardware issue so I can get it

I have a 5.1 system with 3 in ceiling channels R-Center-Left architectural and 2 book shelf surrounds. The current amp is a Sony DA4ES from back in 2000. I also have a set of patio outdoor speakers.  I would like to update and gain wireless functionality and still have all the current functions. Suggestions on how to convert?

Hello, I moved and am trying to setup my SL, it will not connect and keeps showing an error message. I have already tried: resetting to factory mode, restarted my SONOS app, unplugged and plugged back in and turned my wifi off and on.

Hello! I got Sonos Roam 2 months ago. I connected it to my Sonos system at home, integrated with Google home and Google assistant. Worked just fine. Now I took it with myself for Easter family reunion. I wanted to listen to music via Bluetooth but the speaker cannot switch to Bluetooth at all. When pressing the powet bottom for 2 seconds I get the chime but the led is still white, also my phone, nor anyones phone nor even PC, finds it. I thought that maybe I somehow factory reset it, but when trying to connect it to my app via wifi It gets connected by after that it says I need to register it, and to do so I must factory reset it. I tried holding power for 15 secs, keeping away from charger and turning off and on. Nothing helps. How do I make it switch to Bluetooth? Sawpel

Himy system for home theater is curently a playbar grouped with two sonos one used as surroundscan i replace the playbar with an ERA300 that will be connected to my tv by optical, and still use the two ONEs as surrounds as they are now? thanks

I’m looking to buy a bluetooth turntable with built-in pre-amp. I’m looking for a lower-cost solution than buying the Sonos Amp (for now), and I have a 3-part question: 1) I realize that I need to connect the turntable to a Sonos speaker with a line-in port. I’m thinking of buying an Era100 for this. But I want to make sure that I would also be able to pipe the music from the turntable throughout the whole house by grouping the Era100 with my other speakers. Can someone confirm that’s possible? 2) I have a Roam speaker. If I instead connected the turntable via Bluetooth to the Roam (instead of buying an Era100), could I also group the Roam with the other speakers in the house so I can hear the music in other rooms? 3) I have the Arc + Sub in our media room. Could I also group those into the speaker set where I’m playing music from the turntable, or is that not possible or practical? As you can probably tell, one of my priorities is to be able to easily listen to vinyl anywhere around t

I have updated my wifi and managed to get three of four SONOS speakers connected. The Play:5 will not connect to the new network.I have tried a factory reset, then adding it as a new product. My SONOS app recognizes the product and it appears as though it will successfully connect, but it will not connect to the “Play:5’s temporary network:SONOS-Awb… I get this error; “Your mobile device couldn’t connect to your Play:5.I have tried other mobile devices, with no luck. I also have tried using an ethernet cable, and it is undiscoverable.I have tried choosing the temporary wifi SONOS network within my wifi settings on my phone, with no luck (connected momentarily, then nothing). I have changed the network settings in the app. Still nothing.

Hi, I have a Sonos roam with a Submini and I would like to pair as rear speaker 2 Sonos Era300. It will be an overkill? Thank you.

What am I doing wrong. I can not set up my roam SL. How do I connect the device to my WiFi? I don’t see the option in the app without it finding my speaker device and yet I can’t see it in my Bluetooth screen or WiFi. How do I get the speaker to connect to my home WiFi system

Can I not run both the s1 and s2 apps in my household? I’m so confused. I recently bought the Roam for on the go and it won’t let me setup. I have 7-8 sonos devices from over probably 8 years and I know some are legacy and some are not. At this point, I have to figure out how to settle all that but I want my portable roam to work soon. Do I have to erase my prior Sonos life to get this done?

Just bought an arc soundbar and trying to connect it to a Samsung Q series via hdmi arc port and system thinks the soundbar is a now tv device. Soundbar works fine as a speaker but can’t connect it to tv.  Any ideas anyone?

Hi,I have a Samsung Q70AA 65” TV and recently upgraded to ARC, Sub and ERA100 in a home theater setup. I have connected the ARC using the HDMI cable to the eARC HDMI on the TV set and ran through the normal setup process. However, now the audio is skipping out for a few seconds every few minutes which is really annoying. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,I am using Apple Music and actually I have noticed that a lot of playlists are missing in Sonos - in the native apple music app there are lot more resuts showing than in Sonos.e.g. if I search for “christmas”, then apple music gives me around 50-100 playlists as result. The same is if I search for “party”.But in Sonos i get only 10-15 as a result - this are all playlists for “christmas”: Even worse is the result on “amazon music” - there is not a playlist at all (this is the whole result page): After digging into deeper, I found out, that the result is that bad when using the “new search”. If I switch to classic, then I get this for e.g. amazon (note that the result is even longer, I just cutted it): So it seems that the new search is still missing a lot of results, or can I fix this by reindexing the search or anything else? best regardsVoodopupp

HiLooking to replace my existing Yamaha 5.1 system with an Arc.  Doing so to de-clutter the room.  I already have in-ceiling Yamaha rear speakers (wired) which I was hoping I could utilise.  From what Ive read, looks like I need to get an Arc and a Sonos Amp.  Some questions I had: Are there any known issues with using Yamaha in-ceiling rear speakers? Am I correct in assuming I need an Amp for the rears?  Any way to connect them to the soundbar directly? From a sound perspective, is it worth buying an Amp just to connect rear speakers?  Not using any other Sonos product.  Just want good surround sound. Does the Arc have google home inbuilt?  I have a dedicated good home speaker.  Was hoping  to sell the existing google home speaker and use google home via ARCAll my TV shows/Movies will be coming from a Apple TV device connected to my Samsung TV..  We mainly watch shows on Netflix and ABC iView.. Thanks

I recently had a frustrating experience with my SONOS Roam. I took it travelling, and by mistake, when trying to turn it off, I reset it. I was not on my home network and in a hotel, and there was no way to initialize it again. I looked on help forums, and they all talked about using two devices and connecting to one device and hotspotting to another. I tried this at length (and I am comfortable with troubleshooting), and NOTHING worked. The fact that I have a Bluetooth speaker that cannot be set up and used solely as a Bluetooth speaker is so frustrating.  Why not have a setting where, out of the box, you can use it on Bluetooth alone -- I am now carrying around a paperweight, and I can do nothing until I am back at home. Please HELP!

How to connect receiver that I has now to here cds, tapes radio to a Sonos port?  Do I need to connect to the place where the wired speakers are now?

I have two Era 300s, that I have just setup as a stereo pair.  When I attempt to play a record, using the line in into the right speaker, the sound keeps cutting in and out of the left speaker.  Wired connections are solid from the preamp into the right speaker, and both have “good/excellent” wifi connections.  Any ideas on solutions, or directions to existing threads on the same issue would be much appreciated!

Hi there. Can I connect the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Sonos Ed. turntable to a conventional, non Sonos amplifier? C

I have a Sonos Beam by my TV that always works and shows on the app. I have 4 Sonos One SLs that work but every few days they disappear from the app. I have tried unplugging, searching for the them when reconnecting. Restarting my router. I have followed all directions. it is now becoming so frustrating I want to throw them out. sometimes it will work and I will see “living Room, kitchen, bedroom, garage” appear so I can group together to play music. but every now and then they all disappear. Can anyone help? And yes I have tried unplugging them all together and doing individually. I have strong WiFi and never had an issue nor changed it.
