Hi, I have a Sonos roam with a Submini and I would like to pair as rear speaker 2 Sonos Era300. It will be an overkill? Thank you.

You can only Bond (not Pair) two Era 300’s, Era 100’s or Five’s to a Sonos soundbar (Arc, Beam2, Ray) as surrounds. Your profile doesn’t show that you own a Sonos soundbar.
Furthermore, it’s questionable (per your profile) as to why you have a Sub Mini; as it cannot be used with a Roam. So are you asking for future reference in anticipation of acquiring a Sonos soundbar?
