Hello guys, l have read the Sonos website compatibility list for the latest version of True play (S2) Version.  The website states that it is not compatible with  the following Ipad Pros.

Not supported

  • iPod touch (7th generation)
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd generation)
  • iPad Pro 11‑inch (3rd generation)
  • iPad Pro 11‑inch (4th generation)
  • iPad Pro 12.9-inch (4th generation)
  • iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (5th generation)
  • iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (6th generation)

But l cannot find out if true play, (the latest version) works with the first generation Ipad Pro 12.9 with ios 15. 

If someone has an old Ipad Pro generation 1 could test it for me and let me know, lt would be most appreciated.

Since the iPad Pro (1st generation) isn’t listed on the “Not Supported” list, you should be able to use it to perform Trueplay tuning.

Hello all, Just letting you all know that the latest version S2 sonos app with True play for the iPad pro fist generation does work. Thank you for all your help

When Trueplay available for

  • iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (6th generation)?

Sonos doesn’t usually announce upcoming support.
