Beam Gen 2 with LG C1 and Firestick 4k Max. Firestick is plugged into TV and the Beam Gen 2 is connected to the TV eArc port. Everything set to passthrough. I think all is set up correctly as some streams are fine. The problem I have is the Beam (according to the App) is detecting some streams as DD+ even though I’m pretty sure they are Atmos. Any suggestions?

Hi there,I’m after a bit of help. I’ve got 2 questions -I’ve just set up the beam (gem 2) with my 2022 LG G2 TV via HDMI ARC etc, It doesn’t play in conjunction with the tv speakers, is this normal? I’ve followed all the instructions and it looks like it plays through the tv or the sound bar. If this is possible, does anyone have any suggestions?    if the hdmi is running from the hdmi arc input, is there a splitter that can be used in order to run one hdmi cable into a PS4 and another into the Sonos beam? Will this reduce the sound quality? Appreciate if one could be recommended.Thanks in advanceAsh 

Pretty much the title. I am based in Norway, my account profile is set to Norway and my AppleID is setup for Norway. None the less, no Apple Music is listed in the Add Services and Voice. My setup is a Beam (Gen1), 2 Symfoniks, a Play1 and a Play3.The iOS app has been uninstalled and re-installed after a reboot of the phone. I  am trying to link my sonos one with google or alexa and can not get it to work.Below is the latest message I  am getting.  Please can someone tell me where on the sonos app I find the “more" button or the settings button….. I have two systems on two different networks in the same house and I can’t seem to merge them on to one network?anyone run into this problem?

Lpcm sound is considerably quieter than Dolby Digital plus 5.1 or other modes, annoying Is that normal or not?Or maybe work in progress?Is lpcm the best option for my setup , gaming on ps5?Thanks everyone for helping in advancePeace Dawid

Is there any way I can switch off notification sounds in Era 100, i.e. of a succsessful bluetooth connection? It’s really irritating (and for some reason it triggers my dog). I know if the connection was sucessful anyway - I can see it on my app and there the light is indicating it. 

setting a pair of Ones and Sub to the lowest volume via the app (1) is still too loud. any way to set lower?

How can I turn off a Sonos audio message about voice control?  Whenever I pause and then unpause my Era 100 speakers, I get a Sonos audio message about using voice control; and I want to delete that or turn it off.  After hearing the message several dozen times, I’m ready to delete it

Hi, i have an older LG tv. No HDMI ARC on this one.  I have an OREI HDA 912 set up. Have my tv receiver connected to HDMI IN. I have HDMI OUT connected to the tv. I have an optical cable plugged into the Beam and OREI.   I can get picture, but no audio.  That said I have had audio before, using another audio extractor and it worked consistently. That set up was using an amazon firestick instead of the tv receiver.  Since exchanging the firestick for the tv receiver i have had audio working using both the old extractor and the new OREI i just got. However i loose the audio eventually. For example, turned the tv off last night, beam audio was fine.  This morning i have no audio. I have no idea how to test for audio and can’t seem to reverse engineer the set up that produces audio. last night was the first time i used the OREI. It didnt work at first but i slowly changed from TV to Bitsream to LPCM. I gave up after a while and left it on bitstream and it magically started to work several

Greetings all… This topic may have been covered, but i haven’t been able to find a clear answer. I have an Onkyo receiver connecting to a Samsung TV. I have multiple HDMI sources (Firestick, Sony Blu-ray DVD and DirecTv) connecting to the receiver. I understand I cannot connect any wired speakers to the receiver, I would like to use it as a AV switch.What would be the best way to connect these devices together? 

The only thing I can find for searching for atmos content is to manually scroll through every atmos recording ever made.   I can't find a way to search for atmos recordings from for a specific composer or artist.   Have I missed something or is this just the state of things? 

i am getting millisecond audio dropouts/disturbance when my sony x900h is on playthrough set to auto. happens with whatever i am playing. streaming or cable or 4 k player. when i turn pass through to off play perfect. no dropouts.  i have a sony x900h. and attached to tv with optical cable to playbase and a sub and two ones.  attached to tv thru hdmi are a apple 4k tv a optimum cable box nintendo switch and a 4k blu ray player  changed optical cable and hdmi cables. please help. thank u

I'm just trying to listen to music.   Suddenly Sonos is making me reauthorize all of my accounts.   Every time I try to search for something I have to reauthorize another account.   Is this what I'm paying for when I buy a Sonos product? 

Hello all. So I am new to the whole ‘soundbar’ game. I recently went to Best Buy to get their advice on what kind of soundbar and receiver to get for what I was trying to do, and they recommended getting a Denon receiver (AVR-S650H) and Sonos Arc soundbar. My goal was to have the soundbar connected to the TV and also to the receiver (because we use the receiver to play the radio through, and when we turn on the radio on the receiver, we’re wanting the radio to play through the soundbar). So, I have successfully connected the Arc soundbar to my TV (which I did via the HDMI Arc cable) to play the TV’s sound through it (and there have been no issues with this). But I am also wanting to connect the soundbar to my Denon AVR-S650H receiver (again, to have the radio come through the soundbar), but I am having difficulty on how to do this. How can I connect the Arc soundbar to the radio receiver without disconnecting it from my TV? Thank you

I strongly object when wanting to listen to a newscast at the top of the hour, to miss the headlines etc. because a long commercial is heard.  I do not accept this. Further the application (at lleast on iPhone) has no parameter to switch this off. I admit I no longer use Sonos or less and less because of this. I would like complete explanations. Regards 

I just bought a one sl and already had four Play:1,’s.  I want to stream from airplay to all five speakers, I thought I could do that.  So far airplay on my iPhone only recognizes one sl not all of them

hello, everyone! i just bought my very 1st Sonos, Beam (Gen 2) last year. everythings went well except my TV’s remote can’t control the volume, so i always using the app to turn up/down the volume. i’m using Sony Bravia VU3 with RF remote and i’m kind of tired with this problem. can anyone help me here? maybe another device could solve this? oh, and i already tried to setup my remote via app thousands of time and never succeed.

I’ve downloaded a 12 hour white noise playlist on Spotify, every night I notice that it gets about 3 hours in and then just stops playing. I know the songs are not corrupt because if I play the playlist on another device, it plays all the way through. I changed broadband providers (not because of this issue) and issue still happens. I have good internet connection so wouldn’t have thought this was why. System updated.  Why does it happen?! I always wake up to the silence! 

I have two One SL’s running on wireless.  Both connected to the same router and on the 2.4ghz channel.  The cast button within the Pandora app has disappeared.  Pandora within the Sonos app still works.  Downloaded Spotify and it casts to either device.  The cast button appears and is functional if I power down either One SL.  I’ve rebooted everything and did factory resets on both units.

I needed to delete and reinstall the Sonos app cuz that’s the only way to get it to update. Deleting it was easy but when I went to the Apple app store, I can’t find the app. What am I missing??Marc

I have purchased the Era 300 but sonos won't let me set it up up due to an update required on the system. It says my play 5 is incompatible I think it's missed some updates as I have had it switched off for six months. I can't remove update the play five I get error 30. I have tried updating with network cable still not working I'm stuch help would be much appreciated.
