Hello! I recently purchased a used play 5 (gen 1) to use with my current play 1. I was able to setup the play 5 on the S1 controller without issue. I have downgraded my current play 1 to be compatible with the S1 controller but I keep getting ‘product not found’ in the S1 controller app. The play 1 is blinking green, any ideas why the controller cannot find this product?

On MacOS 13.1, running on an M1 MacBook Pro.Consistent error message when trying to update the MacOS Sonos app (on prompt in app). Only solution is to uninstall and reinstall.Very frustrating!Any ideas how to stop this happening?

My Arc volume while watching  tv suddenly needs to be turned up a lot on my television in order to hear it. When I play music from it and the surround speakers it plays at normal volume. Any suggestions on how to fix the volume while watching the television

I am experiencing a problem with TuneIn on iOS. When I select a TuneIn station, the Sonos plays whatever station that was last playing not what I select. For example, if I am currently playing Station X, and then select Station Y, the Sonos continues to play X and not Y, though the display shows Station Y. I have to select the station I want again and then it plays. Weird, I know. Any thoughts? Thanks.

i cant see spotfy  in my sonos app anymore, what to do?

Hello everyone,We are interested in purchasing the amp/in ceiling speaker set, plus an additional ceiling speaker set (total of 4 speakers + amp). How does the hook up work for this? Do we need to also purchase a sound bar as well?  For reference, our living room is 27’x19’ and we are looking do a surround sound setup. Thank you in advance.

My beam has an alarm with a radio station playing every weekday at 6am. I’m sure that I set up the alarm using my iphone a long time ago but I’m unable to determine which app or platform I set it up with and so I can’t turn it off. I’ve checked the Sonos app, google assistant, Alexa, Siri, the radio station app and I’ve turned off every alarm I could find on my iphone but it still plays the same radio station every weekday at 6am.I don’t think it’s an issue with Sonos but I’m wondering if it’s possible to determine the source of the alarm through a diagnostic or by other means.  

When trying to add music folder to SONOS desktop app I receive the following message-The computer “DESKTOP - (COMPUTER NUMBER)” is not responding.I previously had the folder loaded but the desktop app displayed a similar message when I tried to play music. I can play music through sonos from the amazon music app on my mobile without any problemsI’ve looked at various solutions but I am unable to resolve this.I am running a PC with Windows 10, I have Bitdefender security operating. The Bitdefender firewall protection rules allow sonos.exe & sonoslibraryservice.exe.

Is anyone able to have their favorites, identified in the new Sirius XM app (now listed under the library section), appear in the Sonos app? Looks like they need to update the interface between Sonos and Sirius XM to reflect the new structure. The sonos app currently lists what I had tagged as favorites in the old Sirius XM app but there is no way to list them any longer in the sirius XM app or edit them.

Hi, I have a question regarding my play 5 gen 1. After moving the play speaker cannot connect with the new wifi. The white led keeps flashing, also incase of the reset (mute button + power cord plugging in ). After this I connected it successfully with a ethernet cable to my network, after about 20 seconds of test playing Spotify it lost the ethernet connection. Now, trying to reconnect, the ethernet lights on the rear stay off. I already tried several cables but no luck. Did anyone have this same problem (and hopefully solution :-)) ? the reset nor wifi still doesn't work either, only the white flashing led...

I run a series of speakers, 3 x Play:3 and a couple of Sonos 1’s and also have a Roam which I am struggling with.I normally use an iPhone 6s with S2 version 15.  I can’t update this as S2 version 16 won’t work on iOS version 15.I also have an iPhone 13 running iOS 16 and it is now running S2 version 16.I foolishly tried to connect my Roam to a hotel network last week and have discovered the hard way that this is not a good thing to try - I don’t like using the Roam as a bluetooth speaker and wanted to stream direct.My iPhone 13 now says, when I try to re-establish the Roam on the network by adding it, that I have to upgrade.As my speakers are showing “SONOS OS: S2” and “Version: 15.11” I assume it wants me to update the speakers to 16.If I do this will my iPhone 6s running S2 version 15 then not be able to control my various speakers?

Woke up today, Sonos app completely reset, no favorites, no music subscriptions; will not let me add services to rebuild the account, error message: “Sorry this feature is unavailable at this time”. Signed out and signed back into the account, nothing worked. Anyone else experience this?

When I open up my sonos app (android) i can’t add SiriusXM and the only music services showing are Last.fm and TuneIn.  I don’t even see the standard sonos music (such at Cocktail hour etc.)  We are unable to play any music!  I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, signed into my account, etc.  My husband is also unable to access anything to play on the sonos app (IOS).  Right now all we have is a very expensive TV Soundbar.

Is there a way I can turn off my Sonos music that is playing after I left and no longer on the same WiFi of the system I’m trying to turn off?

I have a new Denon CEOL RCD-N12.  I want to play the audio from the CD and radio issued by this little receiver over my Sonos Group (1xBeam, 2xSonos One SL’s and a Sonos Subwoofer + a new Sonos Port). I’ve tested the new Denon with wired speakers and headphones.  I can hear audio on both.  I disconnected the wired speakers and the headphones.  To hear the music from the Denon on my Sonos set up, I purchased the Port. So far, it does not work.  Here is what I did:I grouped all the Sonos equipment. I connected the Denon and Port as follows; Denon’s “Audio Out” RCA  to Port’s “Line-In” RCA On the Sonos App the Port’s Line-Out Level is set to ‘Fixed’. I spent about 90mins with Sonos support and sent them a diagnostic report.  They concluded that the Port was working just fine but was seeing no input from anything.  So, what am I doing wrong?  Is what I am hoping to do even feasible? I have not tested the ‘Audio Out’ RCA on the Denon as I dunno how to - I have no other sources I could use

How do I connect a second rear speaker

My Sonos (S2) uses Pandora for the alarm. Today woke up to beeping instead of music and Sonos says that the source is missing when I go to settings. I don’t see Pandora in the list of my services or available services. Did Pandora just get dropped?

I have a pair of Sonos 1 speakers (set up as a stereo pair), Move and a Roam speaker. All of the  speakers were working perfectly but now none of them will play music directly from Apple music. The speakers respond to the command (ex. they say now playing xxx song from Apple music but then they don’t play anything, it is just silent). They do respond to other voice commands (ex. they will tell me the weather forecast or time if I ask). The speakers work fine when I play music from my phone and connect to them through airplay but not directly. I am not sure why they stopped doing this but any advice?  Thanks

Anyone know why every single update I have to run twice we because of a a fail/try again error, and then the second time fails, shows a disconnected sub (using arc, sub and 300 surrounds), but then when checking the app, the latest update is there and appears everything is working. These are the screens I get for the first and second fail.  

I have an Arc for my living room tv and a beam for my bedroom tv.  I have the Amazon Alexa voice turned on for the beam to give commands.  However, when I am watching tv in the living room the sound from the arc pauses for a few seconds any time someone is asking the beam anything.  I do not see any settings in the Sonos app regarding the Arc for this to occur.  This will happen even if the bedroom door is closed and out of audio range of the arc.  Seems like they are connected in some way but cannot figure out why or how.  Any suggestions?

I’ve been experiencing an issue recently with my Sonos speakers, whereby when I switch to a new song, some speakers continue to play the older song, some play the newer one, some silent.  I have 2 Sonos S2, Sonos Move.I have a Netgear Orbi (802.11.ac) router.Everything here is in one room; the farthest from the router an S2 is may be about 20 ft.  So that is not an issue.My “controller” is an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.1.2; my Macbook Pro 16” (Intel) is where I do a lot of my work and control Sonos.  The Sonos code on MacOS is:Version: 15.10Sonos OS:  S2Build: 76246300 Up until recently, things have worked just fine.I can’t imagine what the problem is, as bandwidth or signal should not be an issue with the relatively low proximity of the router.  So unless someone is aiming a signal jamming device (LOL) at me, I’m at a loss as to why this is happening (yes all my Sonos speakers are on the local WIFI network).I restarted the app on MacOS, no effect.The problem manifests intermittently.
