Good day

Hi guys,
I have a “problem”

Have Beoplay A9 (5th GEN) and Sonos Port connected to it via ( RCA to USB-C A9 G5 does only have USB-C (dongle included))
However I can not get the get the volume “up and down” to work correctly.
I can pick line in on A9, but I can not control volume through Sonos app The volume is stuck at predefined level and I need to open up the B&O app to change the Volume!
Is there a workaround?

With hope of help

No I don’t believe there is. The only devices I’ve seen where volume can be controlled between connected products, is where the connected device downstream has the ‘Works with Sonos” logo and services built-in. I don’t think B&O are onboard with that partnership.

One option is to simply fix the volume level on the Port and just use the B&O App (as you mention), or vice versa and use the Sonos App.

 Check “Line out levels”.
