I have Sonos on my outdoor patio, but not inside. I bought a Sonos Move and Sub Mini to bring the outdoor sounds inside, when necessary. However, I would like to be able to play JUST the Sonos Move and Sub Mini INDOOR, but I don’t get the option to “assign” the Sub Mini to the Sonos Move. Is there a sub that WILL pair with the Move, so that only those speakers are playing inside, and not have music playing on the patio at the same time?

In my lounge, I have an old turntable connected to a Technics amp as well as a pair of passive speakers. In the same room, I have a Playbar and two Play Ones connected by optical and WiFi system to the TV for a ‘cinema setup.’I want to get a better turntable and speakers so I’m wondering what the best way of doing this would be:A new turntable connected directly through line in to two Era 100 speakers (I think 300s would be overkill for a 18 foot x 10 foot lounge?) which would replace the Play Ones. Saving space would be desirable. A new turntable connected by BT to two Era 100s (could they act as TV speakers as well? Would I still need the Playbar?) A new turntable, keep the amp but replace the speakers with better ones. Lots of other ways of doing this but my priorities are improving sound and using less space.I would be grateful for any input (so to speak!)

I have a Samsung 4K 60hz TV WITH Arc HDMI port out which is connected to my Sonos Beam Gen 2. My Xbox series X is connected to another HDMI port on my TV. my wireless Astro A50 headphones connects to the Xbox via USB but also needs optic cable connection to the Beam. But Beam Gen 2 has no headphone or optic cable or any additional OUT port.  Can I use an Arc supported HDMI splitter of some kind between the TV and the 1) optic cable to headphones base, and 2) HDMI to Beam2?if so, what kind of splitter and cables are recommended? Any specific model recommendations? 

Ok so my setup has several network SONOS AMPs and speakers throughout the house. i also have Samsung TVs I’d like to have the TV’s playing the videos Spotify delivers while audio is provided by the Amps. I’m I just too far ahead in terms of what’s possible?

Hi! I have a speaker at work logged into work email and uses bosses accounts. Now I have one at home and I can’t log out of the other email and use mine. It tells me to use the work email. I want to be able to log into my personal account and use my personal streaming services and record player at home. Any advice on what I’m doing wrong?

I have read some discussions of this, but I am confused. I understand that when you set up Amp with wired speakers as back surround speakers that you cannot access line-in for a turntable. I’m trying to figure out if there is a work around for that. Like setting up 2 different rooms (even though they are in the same room) and somehow toggling between the set-up that I want for movies using my wired back speakers (which is most of the time) and the set-up needed to listen to a turntable.

Can I downgrade a sub Gen 3 to the S1 app

I have dropped my Sonos ERA 300 to the floor and the back cover has fractured, I want to know two things, are there any tool or program that I can try to know if this hit cause problems of the sound? and do you know sopport service in latin america?

I have tried every setting in the Samsung s95b audio and sonos app and Apple TV and still cannot get the audio to sync! I got the arc from Costco so wondering if it’s a hardware issue or the default/included hdmi cable that’s the issue?  HELP ME

The app no longer finds my playbase and I’m therefore unable to complete a reset which means the playbase is now non-functional. I’ve followed the instructions on the app and reset my router with no effect. The playbase is connected to the TV via a fibre optic cable and the TV is hard wired to the router. Any ideas?

I want to be able to use Airplay through my Sonos system (Beam, Port, 3-One SL’s).  The Sonos app is updated on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, but when I try to access Apple Music I get a message saying that Apple Music needs to be reauthorized.  However, when I try to log in, I get a message saying that there was problem and I should try again.  I have, multiple times, but keep getting the same message.  I’ve seen several messages in the forum, some saying that the issue was with the Sonos app but that it had been fixed.  However, I am unable to get my system to work.

I love my Sonos setup (Arc, One SLs and Sub gen3) for  my home cinema. Recently, I started listening to music again. Most of my playlists are from the 90s and early 2000s. I soon realized that my Sonos 5.1.2 setup isn’t right for music, something wasn’t there which wasn’t giving me that nostalgic feeling. I missed my 1000W Sony Hifi system. I did some experimenting to understand what’s wrong with my Sonos setup and I came to a conclusion that music to me sounds best in Stereo Mode and Sonos setup lacks that stereo separation and clarity. So, whenever I listen to music I do the following: I go in my Sonos app>system>surround sound and turn the music playback to “full” and set the music level to max (+15). This puts my Sonos One SLs in a Stereo pair like mode. I also turn off the sub so that the woofer of One SL become active and I get a stereo bass. I have a Sonos 2 system consisting of 6 Connect:Amps, a Sonos Move and a Playbar + Sub.  The Connect:Amps are in a Sanus rack, connected to my Netgear Orbi Router via an 8-port Netgear bridge. I have 2 Orbi Satellites.  My music is stored locally on my MacBook Pro (running Sonoma 14.1.2) hard drive and the MacBook is connected to the network via my Wifi network.  I have a 1Gigabit Xfinity service and my Wifi signai is very strong (e.g 450Mbps Bandwidth speedtest).  My Sonos system tells me it is up-to-dateWhen I play my music my Sonos sound will frequently drop out for 5-7 seconds before starting up again.  It happens whether I am streaming my own music from my MacBook or using a streaming service like Spotify...although perhaps it is more frequent when I am streaming my own music.  Bringing up the Sonos 2 app on my iPhone and adjusting the music volume will frequently cause the music to stop playing for a little while.  We bought the house in 2018, shortly after it was built.  I do no

I’d like to get a speaker that I can use to play music and that also connects to our projector for movie night. It’s worth noting that the projector is the primary TV in the home. It’d be tricky to put a soundbar in the front of the room, as it wouldn’t be anywhere near the projector. However, we could trivially use a line-in to connect the projector to an Era 300 (or other speaker) on a nearby table. My thought is that the speaker will lend itself well enough for both TV/movies and music - we’d simply connect the line to watch a movie.Is this notion ill-conceived? I would also consider a Play5, though I suspect that the 300 is better suited for this dual purpose. I’m also unsure about how well this would work if we expanded down the line - for example if we paired two Era 300s and/or maybe a sub later, all using the line-in from one 300 as input. After some advice: having the kitchen/dinning room extended and want to put in 4 sonace ceiling speakers. Only usury is half of the ceiling in flat the other half is pitched (approx 20degrees).so where’s the best place to install them as two will end up on the flat ceiling two the pitched. I’ve attached rough plan of the layout: black is the boundary, blue the kitchen and the yellow line is the the split between the flat and sloped roof.  I’ve tried to work out what’s the best positions but there’s a lot of conflicting advice. A couple of days ago, Tunein stopped working properly. The ads play but no music ever plays. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this problem? Thanks.

I’m facing this issue only from last few weeks. All I get is stereo pcm when watching 5.1 content. No issues with Atmos content. Samsung qn90 with Apple TV 4K, Arc, Sub, 300s. Arc is connected via hdmi eArc to my tv. Apple TV audio is set to Auto/Atmos.  Sound is not right when I change Apple TV audio to ON ( I hear voice from surround and not from Arc).

This is an ongoing issue Sonos support ticket number ********. Two rooms, one with an Arc, base and surrounds, and another room with Beam, base and surrounds. The Arc and Beam are wired directly to the router. When playing music (Apple Music, Sonos app, Pandora, local files, etc.) the Arc stops playing, then the Beam, then the player shows it’s not playing.I’ve restarted, rebooted, changed wifi channels, wired as many wifi sources or turne them off as possible.Since the last incident of the music stopping - when switching the router to channel 11 - the system worked fine for 8 days (I thought this was solved as it was the longest issue-free run in since this started happening in early January 2024) - no! today, the music stopped same symptoms as before.I’m out of options to try that I know about.Ran diagnostics within a minute or two of the music stopping - 1663922707.Any suggestions on what else to check and/or try to resolve this issue? thanks,Fred Moderator Edit: Removed Case number

Since last night, tune in will not play podcasts.  Music stations play OK. I have tried resetting router.  Unplugging everything.  Removing tune in from system and adding back .  Nothing works.  When you click on podcast link, a commercial will play and then nothing happens.

Almost all of my Mac software updates effortlessly. Sonos, on the other hand, doesn't like MacOS and never has. Thus, to update, Mac users must locate their Sonos app in the Applications folder, delete it, then go back to the Sonos website, find the download link, then download it. Once downloaded, it needs to be dragged to the Applications folder. How archaic? Is there a better way that I'm missing?

Hi team! Having real issues with my sonos setup, grateful for any advice please. I have 2 zones in my house. 1. Playbar, with 2 x play 3 surrounds 2. Amp, with sonance speakers and a gen 3 sub Neither the surrounds or sub produce any sound. The playbar and amp, ie main speakers, work fine. When I connect a surround speaker, it connects just fine in the app, but they don't produce any sound. I've tried different combinations, resetting all speakers, nothing works. The play 3s work fine in isolation, but when connected as surrounds, nothing. The sub won't work on either zone. However, after resetting, it shows in the app and does a big 'I'm here' sound, so clearly works. Help!! 

Hi everyone! I live in Chile, Could you help me with this: When I login on to the Sonos app on my iOS device and go to Sonos radio, I just see featured list and browse radio. I do not see Sonos presents or sonos stations. I have tried with updating my profile address and reset Sonos app, but without success. Is it a restriction for my region/ country ? Kind regards 

I’m traveling with my Sonos Roam and can’t get the Bluetooth function to work. I’ve had it for a few years so it’s set up on the Sonos app (on my home WiFi network) and I have used it as a Bluetooth device in the past. I’ve read every post I could find and nothing has worked. As others have mentioned, I can’t connect it to my hotel’s wifi because the login requires a room number ( not a password). Might anyone have a suggestion? I usually travel with a cheap JBL Bluetooth speaker and I’ve never had an issue .. I brought the Sonos to treat myself as I’m gong for a long stretch.  Thank you!

Sonos - I've seen the posts from a couple of year ago have sonos really still not patched the products to adapt to a new wifi router? I cant connect sub and ones to my new network.... any ideas folks?
