I set my Left Play 1 (wireless) on top of my Sub (wireless).  They are part of my home entertainment system that also includes a Right Play 1 (wireless) and Playbar (ethernet).  The Left Play 1 and Sub sitting together will work for a short period of time and then they go offline / not connected in the app.  In the past, I had alot of separation between the two and they worked fine.  Also, the Right Play 1 and Playbar stay online without issue.   Therefore, I have to assume that because I have the Left Play 1 sitting on top of the Sub, they are too close together and causing them to go offline. I really like the Left Play 1 sitting on the Sub in my new smaller space.  Is there a solution to keep them from interfering with one another?   Or do I need to move them further apart and if so, how much distance is required?  (Note, I’m not able to ethernet either one in my current set up, both would have to stay wireless).Thanks for any advice! 

Hi everyone,  I am finishing up the last details to open a gym. I have seen similar topic but would still like your feedback. The gym comprises:- A small reception / coffee bar which is 14 m2- A weight lifting area which is 150 m2- A spinning area which is 35 m2- A multi funcional room which is 65 m2- A corridor leading to the changing room which is 25m2Both spinning an multi functional would have their own system as we need to equip the instructors with mics.However the weight lifting, reception and corridor should have the same content with different sound level. I hoped that the Sonos ERA 100 or 300 would create their own network to connect together and that would have been my first choice but it seems like they are not compatible with the Wired Sonos setup. What would you recommend in that case? Note, the gym is located in A small town in south America with unreliable internet… Best regards, Pierre 

Hi there, Can ceiling speakers be used as main speakers as well as surround speakers? I’ve got a new extension and I’m hoping to get an arc, sub, amp and 4 x ceiling speakers.2 of the ceiling speakers I’d use pas surrojnd but the other 2 I’d like at the back of the extension and to use as additional sound to what’s coming from the arc.  Is this possible or can they only be used as surround speakers?  

I have two Sonos 5 speakers (gen2) paired in my living room.  When I connected them, the app said I have a very strong wifi signal.  Sometimes when I look for them on my iPhone (S2 controller), all other rooms are available but the living room just doesn’t exist.  I will then look at my iPad (sitting directly next to my iPhone) and my living room is there and available.Later on, the living room will just “reappear” on my iPhone.  Also, those speakers are up on a high shelf so it is very inconvenient to unplug and reconnect them as a solution.

Hi - I just moved into a house that has 8 zones of speakers (not sure what brand) and Elan wall switches in each room/zone.  I want to start adding sonos amps to each set of speakers (maybe 2 sets of speakers to a zone) in some cases.I would like to have the option to control the volume in a zone with a wall switch as well as the app.  Will the Lutron Pico Smart Remote  work with a Sonos amp connected to non-sonos ceiling speakers?If so, can I just connect the speaker wires in the existing wall plates to each other and replace the wall receptacle with something to hold the Lutron?

Hello all, I am new to this and I have recently discovered the Sonos Radio app. After playing around with it, i have discovered that there do not seem to be any Italian radio stations listed under Browse Radio > Locations > Europe > Italy…Whilst there are many cities listed not one of them displays a radio station.Please, am I doing anything wrong?Thanks for any help.

Hi everyone!I would like to ask a question regarding the setup of the SONOS arc + 2 eras 300 + sub. I have connected such system together with a Lg OLED EVO and it works great. However, I used to have a Panasonic system that had two standing boxes (now substituted with the eras 300). The difference between the older Panasonic system and this new SONOS system is that the voice of the people speaking on the TV can just be heard from the SONOS ARC in the front, instead of being heard from the eras 300 too. From the eras 300 I can just hear the music of the films, so the soundtrack. In the other system I use to hear everything from the stranding boxes I had.So my question is wether it is possibile to change such thing in the way that the voice is hearable from each era 300 too.Thank you

I have multiple Sonos speakers including Arc Home Theatre Setup, Move, 2 x One’s plus a Roam unit.I live in a reasonably remote area and get power outages around once per month. All Sonos equipment  powers up again with no issues communicating with each other or Amazon Alexa devices, Apple Music, Netgear Orbi router etc. - except that is the Roam speaker. Everytime I have to Reset from scratch. Once done it works fine until the next power Anyone else having this issue ? Thanks

I have a Sonos Arc, Gen 3 Sub, & two SL Ones hooked up to my Samsung QN90B TV.  I can see my settings are correct and Dolby Atmos is turned on.  When I play Amazon movies or shows that have Dolby Atmos I can only see Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1 in my Sonos app.  I spent over 2 hours with Samsung and they told me that my settings are correct and that Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1 is just a name coming from the TV and that if my Dolby Atmos is on and I am using the HDMI eArc port, the sound is in Dolby Atmos.  Is this correct?  

I have a Playbar + Sub mini + 2 Play 1’s. I am not in the market for the Arc yet, but thinking of replacing the Play 1s with the Era 100. Would this make a substantial difference given my current system? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have a sonos arc and a subwoofer that I wanted to move to another wireless network in my network. Same hardware, same access point same firewall same switch just a new wireless network. To make sure I had the password correct I connected my cell phone and it connected OK and then I moved six Alexa devices and nine other devices to this network without a hitch. I go to change the Wi-Fi network on my Sonos and six times. I’ve tried six times I get an error that it cannot connect to the network. What’s even pissing me off? Moore is now I can’t go back to the original network because it says that it can’t connect to it either. I hoping somebody here can give me some insight without a flood of misdirection because this is the stupidest bunch of bull I’ve ever seen. I’ve even tried moving my cell phone to the same network that I’m trying to add the Sonos to and that also didn’t work. Hi guys, I would just like to know how/if I can pair Move 2. I am planning to get one and add it to my existing setup (Era300 +Sub gen3). I would like to use it with my existing setup when at home but still take it with me when I go around with my camper van. What options do I have? Can I set it as a stereo pair? 

In my home office, I have a zone with two Play 3 and a Sub. What happens every now and then is that the left speaker goes silent for a while, and then comes back some 15-20 seconds later, and then a minute later or so there is another dropout. Once this has started to happening, it keeps on going this way.I have tried to unplug all three players in the zone and plug them back in, but I am not sure that helps. But unplugging all players that I have (one zone with two Sonos Five, one zone with two Play One SL, one zone with two Play1 and finally a Port) and plugging all back removes the problem for a while but then it comes back after some weeks. Possibly the periods it works are getting shorter. This time it started to appear after one week since I plugged in all players.I have note noticed dropouts in other zones, but this zone is also the one where I most often play music.Anyone recognise the problem? Could it be that the Play3 is getting old and tired and it’s time for a replacement?

I’ve created a user “Sonos” with a share called “music” that has my old MP3 library. I’d like to get the Sonos working with it, because we lose internet annoying often (at which point streaming services go offline). I’m trying to follow these instructions: https://support.sonos.com/en/article/use-a-nas-drive-with-sonos Whenever I go to add the library, I get the “unable to add music share to your music library (900)” error. When I try to search for solutions, everything is about the old S1 app requiring SMB1-- but I’m on S2, so I don’t think that’s my issue.  Help?

Hi everybody,I appreciate any input and help!Can I safely connect both Sonance SGS 8.1 Garden series and a pair of VPXT6 speakers to a Sonos Amp? I also have a Sonance SR 2-125. Would it be a better option to connect both Sonance SGS 8.1 Garden series and a pair of Sonance VPXT6 to SR 2-125 Amp and then to a Sonos Amp for streaming ( I already have the Sonos Amp, so I thought I can use it instead of spending money on a Sonos Port for streaming)?

“the associated service account was not found in your Sonos system" - between yesterday and today, my services disappeared and I can’t add any services.  All of my services have vanished (Pandora, Apple, Amazon, SiriusXM).  I’ve deleted/re-installed apps on my iOS and MacOS devices--no change.  I’ve reset my password--no change.  The apps can see my system, but I can’t play anything (the only app that appears is TuneIn and it doesn’t play “Unable to play the Radio station” Any other ideas?

I am buying a FRAME TV with the One Connect box that connects to the Frame TV. I am also buying a Sonos Amp to connect via wire to 2 pairs of Sonance In-Ceiling speakers. Do I need to connect the AMP via HDMI to the One Connect box or can I use Wifi, understanding I may need to sync the sound with the TV due to the latency caused by the WifI. I simply do not want to have to put the amp in the in-wall box behind the tv, rather have near the router. Will this setup work? Are there any pitfalls?

I currently have 2 X ERA 300, ARC and SUB.  What would be the best way to add a turntable to this and what would my limitations be?

It’s been working fine for over a year and a half and now it is silent and the app tells me it’s not recognised, i can get audio by turning pass through off in my TV (LG A1 OLED) settings but don’t want to have to do that every time as this makes my other devices play in pcm instead of atmos. it’s a Sonos arc with Play 1s as rears and a sub mini.   

I have an Arc/Sub/One/One SL setup.  Because their is no bluetooth function in Sonos Arc to stream, I use my laptop to play music and stream to my Roku which is the only way to connect.  I want full stereo coming from the speakers I paid for and not ambient.  Since the signal is coming from Roku/TV and not some Apple/Google device, Sonos thinks it’s a tv signal when it really is a music signal and I want full stereo in my two One’s which are my rear surrounds.  It’s been quite difficult to play my flac files and such, but this is the perfect work around with a Roku until I purchase a NAS.  If you know how to force a music or tv playback let me know!  This should be an option.  What about live music shows for a party and you are stuck with a weak ambient signal coming out of your surrounds when you really need full playback in stereo?  I know Sonos just wants you to buy more speakers but I’m not putting multiple sets of speakers in the same room, except maybe another sub!  Don’t get me

Hi everyone, I recently purchased the Sonos error 300. I have been looking and reading at a lot in the forums that are suggesting to put the rear speakers at ear level. I was hoping to save some square footage and potentially mount them higher on the rear wall about 5-6 feet from the back of my couch and invert them, but I had questions about this affecting the sound quality of the home theater.  I'll attach some photos for some advice. I did ask a Sonos tech support directly, and I save the screenshot here, but it seems that the sound quality should not be affected. Thoughts?  

I am getting a Hisense class U7 tomorrow.  It has 2  2.1 HDMI ports.  I also got an 4 port 8k switch.  I will be using all 8k cables.  Just want to make sure I run a cable from the earc on the TV to the Sonos arc. Then run another cable from the other 2.1 hdmi port on the tv to  the output on the switch.  Finally run 8k cables from the switch inputs to the Apple TV, PS5, and Xbox Series X.  Appreciate anyone’s advice.
