Equipment: Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub, 2x Era 300’s, Roku Ultra, LG TV. Connections: Roku Ultra to LG TV; HDMI Arc from LG TV to Sonos Arc Soundbar. All 4 Sonos speakers are working together when playing music thru Sonos via Sonos S2. With TV running, sound is coming thru the Sonos Arc. I am able to control volume and play/pause of the whole system from the Sonos Era’s. But no sound is coming from the sub or the Era’s.When playing music thru Sonos all is happily working.  The Roku is new. When I was using an Apple TV Gen 1, all was working together. 

So I have a stereo pair of Era 300s used for music listening. I have them on the either side of my TV facing the couch. Recently I found out that my TV can send stereo signal via Bluetooth to the speakers, which works flawlessly and sounds pretty decent after the initial pairing. However, during subsequent watching, there are cut-outs intermittently  . I’ve gone through the support route but all I got was the generic recommendation to disconnect and reconnect the pairing, which also does not always resolve the problem from my experience. And frankly, I just don’t want to do it every time I want to watch TV.Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found a fix? Thanks in advance!

Hello, ive got 4x Sono One SL’s from a good friend, and my question is:Can i use all 4 without anything else to make surround sound for my tv setup? do i need something else to use all 4 as surround ? or only 1 extra bar and 2 one sl’s can i use 2x or 4x sl’S with another bar? got a teufel cinedeck atm, can i pair those ? i want to make the best usage for the 4 one sl’s ive got and i dont know how i can use them as best, i only want 1 setup for 1 tv, so i want to use all 4 if possible and try a good setup :) 

Hi,I just setup a new system in our holiday home, with a Sonos Amp in the living room and two Sonos Ones in the bedroom.Originally the Amp was connected via cable and the Ones via WiFi, but it seems that is making issues with our Unifi switch/access point. Initially I could not even add the Amp to the system, but after I switched it to WiFi that worked.But now the Amp disappears from the network after 30-60 minutes of it coming online. So initially when I start the Amp I see it in the Sonos app, but at some point it disappears and is also not reachable anymore on network level (ping). I tried to switch it back to cable instead of WiFi but the problem is exactly the same.Could that be again an issue with Unifi? Unifi recommends having all Sonos devices either wired or wireless, but in my case this issue also occurs with all devices being wireless.Any ideas on how to debug/solve this?Regards, Robert

I recently got a Pro-ject debut carbon Sonos edition and i am trying to connect it to Era 300. i followed all the instructions, connected the RCA cable to the Pro-ject provided RCA-Aux adapter and then to the AUX to USB-C adapter provided by Sonos. I can hear the music but the volume is very low and there is a constant static, its a humming sound. The volume of the static noise increases when I increase the volume. I redid the RCA connections, havent connected the ground to anything as instructed. Is there something i can do to fix or could this just be a fault in-built pre-amp?

Hopefully this forum can help improve the uselessness of my Sonos products. I have an Era 100 (recent) and Sonos Play (had a couple of years), and constantly annoyed at the app trying to load and find my system. Then go through the hassle of it finding my system as well as a neighbours. Once selecting my system and it’s working, Alexa and hey Sonos don’t work. Occasionally Alexa does, but mostly not. All I get is Sonos is having trouble connecting to your music provider. Oddly, the Sonos one Alexa works reasonably well, but sometimes plays something completely different to what you asked her to.  I have the S2 app  it didn’t notice any difference is ease of operation. Not impressed by the sound quality either, hoped the Era 100 would be better but apparently not.  Any help troubleshooting would be welcome.

I have 5 Sonos play 1 speakers, each installed for a different room in the house using the Sonos app. Initially, I connected each speaker to the modem with a cable and after introducing all the speakers, ensuring their functionality and sound playback, and assigning them to their respective rooms, I switched them to Wi-Fi mode and connected them to the network. Each of them works correctly. However, the issue is that I can't see all of them simultaneously in the Sonos app. When all the speakers are connected to power, only one of them is active in the app, and I can use it. If I unplug it, another speaker designated for a different room becomes active, but the rest remain inactive. I suspect the problem lies in the way I set them up because I had only one network cable. As a result, I installed each of them separately in the app and couldn't figure out if all of them are active when connected with the cable or not. This is my 2nd Sonos Move (first one was sent back under warranty) that won't turn on. I can't believe that these speakers are this bad where I've had two in a row stop working after less than a month  I've tried all the factory reset nonsense and it doesn't work Does anyone have a different fix or possible cause of this? The speakers have been kept inside and not exposed to water.

Hi,I recently bought a couple of Sonos-speakers, having heard a lot of positive things about the brand. I connected them to my YouTube Music-account and everything worked flawlessly, until this weekend.Suddenly I only get a message that says “Unable to browse music” when trying to open my start page or hitlists. I try to google a bit, and after trying to both delete/add account and reauthorize without success I decide to contact Sonos support.Sonos support tells me to try the same old reset this and that, and proceeds to say that there is nothing wrong on their part, I have to contact Google because the issue stems from my account.Google tells me that they don’t have anything to do with the Sonos-app, so I have to contact Sonos support.So what am I supposed to do?? Am I the only one with this problem concerning YouTube Music?

I have been struggling to restore my Music Library located on a WD Home Cloud to my SONOS system since WD issued the notice that the support was changing last August in an email.I have followed the instructions supplied in the two associated links, Answers 34991 & 50881 to the letter.The basic configuration of my system is as follows:Internet router with WD Home Cloud plugged into 1 port, and SONOS Connect plugged into 2nd port. and 5 various speakers connected via wifiFollowed the instructions for IOS products, using Mac (IOS Sonoma 14.2.1), iPhone (IOS 16.6.1), iPad (IOS 17.2)Using the SONOS App S2 (Version 15.11)I have even altered my Folder structure on the drive to reflect the instructions that have been given as follows:smb://WD Drive/Media Files/My Music/I created a local user as instructed for example, Localuser with a password LocalPW01But after every alteration or change to settings, I am unable to add to the S2 app my music library.The WD Home Cloud drive I can access on

hello everybody, when I try to start a podcast with TuneIn, the system only play a phrase telling “this is TuneIn”, then nothing is reproduced. Last saturday everything worked properly.This issue is with both services TuneIn and TuneIn new.What’s wrong with my system?thank you in advance

I’ve learned my lesson.  Don’t update multiple devices and software on the same day.  Don’t be an early adopter.I can’t determine where the issue is, the Sonos App, or my AppleTV.Updated AppleTV to TvOS17.2.Updated Sonos to 15.11.I have a Sony x950h.  Arc, Sub Gen3, two OneSL’s, all connected via eARC HDMI.Everything was working great, after these updates, everything went haywire. Volume control via the Apple TV Remote stopped working.AppleTV no longer detects Audio System via eARC (only lists TV Speakers as an option)Sonos app cannot recognize any remotes. Strangely, with all these issues, I am still getting sound out of the Arc, 5.1 and Atmos.  I just can’t control the volume with any remotes.  I have tried resetting the Apple TV Remote (by holding Down Volume and TV button), I have also tried to relearn the remote on the Apple TV.  While trying these options, I attempted to teach the Sonos App a different remote, and no remotes are being recognized.  I have tried a Firestick remote,

Today my Sonos is refusing to load any playlist I created on Amazon Music Unlimited that has more than 100 songs. I’ve reset router, cable modem, all speakers/amps, controller, deleted and reactivated the amazon account. All apps and Sonos controller are up to date. I verified my amazon account is active and still at the unlimited level, which it is. What is really odd is I can load any playlist, no matter what size, if it was created by amazon. I just can’t load my playlists, unless they have 100 or less songs. I contacted Sonos support and was told amazon limits playlist to 100 songs on Sonos, although only my personal playlist are not working if over 100 songs. I contacted amazon and they said they do not limit playlist songs to 100 on Sonos.I really don’t want to switch from amazon, I have been happy for a couple of years with their unlimited service.Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions?The attached pictures shows what I see when I try to load a playlist with over 100 songs

The SiriusXM app no longer has categories, stations are just listed in numerical order. What happened?

Hello everyone,as you can read in this topic two of my 4 Sonos Play 1 are defective. Even at low volume, the woofers start to pop. I was about to start unscrewing and replacing them, then I read here that they will probably be replaced. Is this still the case? Thank you very much.

Hi we are making our kitchen bigger and want to install Sonos cealing speakers and need to know cealing placement and how many to install it’s outlined in red it would be just for music.  And then the room outlined in blue is a bar room wanted seperate amp and speakers for that one also and would would like same advice.  Thank you for any help it’s appreciated.   

I am looking at purchasing a Beam or Arc for my TV. There are times when I need to listen with Bluetooth headphones in another room while people are watching the TV (e.g. news). But my TV doesn't support simultaneous output to both Bluetooth and Arc or Optical.Is it possible to output audio to my Beam or Arc and connect Bluetooth headphones to it?

I am very new to REAL audio, and with all honesty, if I had not been able to shop at the base exchange, I may never have even found them.  After I went home, thought about it, and did a little research, I decided to purchase the Move 2.  I was shocked by the clarity and little bit of boom this speaker could give. I looked at my TCL (nothing wrong with them, but it was a Black Friday deal), sound bar, and sub I used to listen to music and decided I am tired of distorted jams…. I needed more…  (put on sunglasses)Papa Roach, Pink Floyd, Garth Brooks, 2 Pac, Bone Thugs and Harmony Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Kenny G on and on…  I listen to it all, and I like to listen to it loud, and now that I work from home, I do not have to wear the awesome but annoying at times headphones I always did… But I did what I always do: get excited and started looking and ordered two items from Sonos and thought I may have made a mistake…  Or my own justification to buy even more and have an awesome surround

The only way to reset the sound is to unplug Arc and TV, or as I do as my 75 in is mounted high on the wall, I go to the circuit breaker and turn on/off.i contacted both Sonos and Samsung. Sonos last week said their software worked fine and I should contact Samsung. Samsung admitted last week that there is a glitch, put me on hold and went into my tv and fixed it. It happened again yesterday so I went to Samsung. He suggested that he would reset the tv (like a brand new tv!!) I said yes only to find out that I had to reinstall all apps, sound bar etc. I was PEEVED! Plus afterward the eArc still did not work.I poured myself a scotch, went down to the fuse box and turn the circuit on and off. Arrived upstairs and the eArc worked.Then early this morning, I turned the system on and kept hitting the lower volume button so as not to wake my wife. Sure enough the sound went to TV Output.I phoned Sonos and guess what, this morning he admitted THAT THEY KNOW THERE IS THIS GLITCH.I am back up an

Hi there,I have 7 pre existing ceiling speakers spread out through my upstairs floor. 2 in a screened room. 2 in kitchen. 2 in living room. 1 in master bathroom. Each are has wall mounted volume control with all 7 speakers feeding to a receiver in the living room. I’m interested in connecting through Sonos but unsure what unit or units I would need to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
