When turning on tv there is no sound coming of out the beam. I have to connect the HDMI cable from BEAM to a non-arc port on TV and wait 10 sec. Then connect back to ARC connection to get BEAM sound to work.and get the tv to rekocnice the input.Does anyone have a solution for this. Is seems it could be the that the beam is not recognized by the arc port in TV.

I have had a Sonos Arc and LG G3 tv for several months with no issues. This week the Arc stopped playing tv content. It seems this happened right after a tv update but I can’t say for certain. But when I try to see the tv up through Sonos app it says HDMI Arc not detected. This is extremely frustrating. I have tried factory resetting both tv and soundbar to no avail

Sonos Ray appears in Control Centre AirPlay list but NOT in HomeKit app.  Tried adding using ‘other’ options and though a Speaker icon appears - assume it IS the Ray - message indicating HomeKit cannot connect, ensure iPad is on network?

Hi. I have a not uncommon problem in that my 2nd Generation Beam and Samsung TV frequently don't want to talk to each other. The problem seems to be related to the EArc capabilities of the TV, as if I disable that, they play together nicely. As a workaround I've borrowed a 1 In / 2 Out HDMI splitter from work. My intention being to feed my media system (Vero 4k+) into the switch, with one output feeding the TV for the vision and the other the Beam. However, on trying this I get no sound at all from the beam. The app shows nothing on the beam's input (I've made sure it's an allowed format being used, deliberately dropping to 2 ch stereo for the test). Swapping the splitters 2 outputs around makes no difference. I assumed the splitter was somehow blocking the audio, but, with the splitter still in circuit feeding the tv but reconnecting the beam so it's fed as normal from the EArc/Arc output I get the media systems audio as normal from the beam. Ok, so I know I probably missed a thread on here somewhere, but I’ll tell my issue anyways.  Brand new Sonos Arc, have a 75” Samsung 4K TV (QN75Q70AAFXZA), and the newest Apple 4K TV. I’m using the HDFury Arcana with brand new 8k HDMI cables. Apple TV to input on Arcana, HDMI eARC out to Arc soundbar, and other HDMI output to eARC HDMI input on TV. Everything works fine, I get Dolby 5.1, I’m ok with the black screen when content is switching, but not getting Dolby Atmos when watching 6 Underground on Netflix, I have the UltraHD subscription. What am I missing? I have majority of Arcana settings on Auto as well, confused as to what to set to other settings. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I have new access for my Wi-Fi and need to change how Sonos finds it

Hi all,I currently have 2x sonos 5s, 2x sonos ones and a sub in my living room. I can only use them to play music at the moment because they are connected to a soundbar or amp. Is it possible to get a Beam gen2 and then connect all the speakers to the tv? So basically the Beam would need to act as a center speaker. I have a fairly large living area (10m x 5m with 4m+ ceilings) so only a beam (or even arc) with 2 rears wouldn’t do the trick. 

We have a new covered deck which 4 flush ceiling speakers were installed. The electrician ran a wire from each speaker to the basement where the Sonos Amp is located. Can I put two speakers on each Sonos banana clip or do I need 2 Sonos Amp to run all 4 since they each have their own wires leading to the basement? 

Alexa and Amazon music had been working on my system but now it has stopped working. Alexa will acknowledge the request and confirm the song choice but the song will not play. As a work around I tried to use Sonos voice assistant instead and Amazon music isn’t available as a music service in the Sonos app. Also another issue is that my Sonos move isn’t showing in the Sonos app, only my Beam and surrounds (Sonos one so x 2). The app is very poor and extremely slow for what was once a quality product.

I see others have had this problem, too, but comments have been blocked for some reason. Maybe because there's no solution yet? But every time I open the Sonos app if I have music playing the volume shoots up to 100%. I don't touch any buttons or sliders or anything, it does it all on its own.

Can I connect an external turntable to my Beam(Gen 2)?

I bought today an ARC SL (connected to my Sony Bravia TV) and one ERA 300.Both are connected to my personal wifi.I would like to get the TV sound on the (alone) ERA 300 (located in the kitchen) but did not find how to proceed.Any help welcome.Cheers 

Our system will play most radio stations perfectly well. All day long, no problem. Except for Sonos Cruise Control … which drops the conenction about every 30 minutes. It goes quiet for about 10 seconds then re-connects and carries on - until the next time. it will do this all day long, day after day. But only on this one channel. Does anyone have any ideas? (yes, I know its probably easier just to listen to something else, but the Mrs seems to prefer Cruise Control to anything else) 

I have a two ones, a beam gen 1 and a move gen 1. would adding a connect gen 2 improve my sound quality? 

Any advice on this? I'm trying a+d then using code 33919 but my remote is not connecting to Ray. I can use my Sonos app to control volume but I need this to work with my remote so anyone can use the remote to control volume. Any help here? 

Hi, Since last update, 16.1, sonos voice control not working. Before when micro button is on (green) I have white light on speaker, but not now. « Hey sonos, play …etc), simply no respond.  Anyone have same issue?   

My setup:LG 65” OLED (OLED65C3AUA.AUS) Sonos Arc SL  No other devices plugged in to TV  HDMI plugged in to port 2 in TV (e-arc/arc port)  Audio output: “HDMI Arc” with so sound options available (all greyed out on TV)My problem: Sound will stop working after 20-30 minutes. Absoutely no input change, volume change, or app change. Sound goes from working perfectly to being silent. Very frustrating. I unplug/re-plug the power and the HDMI several times and then it works again. What I’ve tried: I bought a new, high-quality HDMI cable and the problem persists, so I am back to the Sonos-included cable. When the sound goes off, the Arc is still on, and the sound still works on the Arc (when I physcially presst he volume buttons in makes the thumping sound) and the led turns on. I have updated the firmware on both the TV and the Sonos, and I have checked the plug connections a million times. Anyways, this is a brand new tv and this is extremely frustrating. Please help. Thanks

Hello,My sonos roam won't turn on or charge since yesterday, it was working perfectly paired with my sonos one, it stopped working so i try to charge it and nothing happen since, i used every usb C cord i have ?Holding the power button for 5, 10, 12, 30 seconds won’t do nothing, the orange LED is not working too.Don’t know what to do ????Merry christmas, i’m afraid that only half of my family will listen to my christmas playlist.Best,  Simon

I am using the Sonos APP, how can I adjust the sound (bass and treble)?? 

Hi. I have just purchased an era 300 to add to an existing Sonos 1 in our lounge. How can I get these so that they are permanently grouped and always come on in sync, either on the alarm or when I ask Alexa. It worked fine when I had two Sonos 1s paired but recognise I can’t do a stereo pair with the different products but i do still want to group them so they play together. 

Hello. Please help. What I want to accomplish is twofold: 1. Group all 4 speakers (2 next to TV and 2 in the back for surround), hopefully giving stereo/surround effect, and allow master volume to be consistently managed by TV remote. As of right now, my TV remote only controls the volume for my Sonos Arc and the two Era 100’s surround in the back of the room. I have to turn the volume of the Era 100’s (that are next to the TV) up and down in the app2. Stream music, using Airplay at moment as I get used to setting up system, without compromising TV volume control when I switch back to TV. 

I currently have a the large Gen 1 sub, a set sound bar, and a set of surrounds. I also have several bookshelf speaker though my home. I do have at least 1 Gen 3 product, the Era 100. I am wanting to add a sub mini to my system to place in another room. I know that you can add a second sub to a home theatre set up. That is not my goal. I just want more bass in another area of my home when I play something on all of speakers. Is this possible? Further more if I one day add another theater set up to my bedroom will I be all to the second sub for that?

Should I set my audio on the tcl 635 tv to passthrough or auto?  Auto gives me multichannel pcm and passthrough gives me Dolby digital 5.1. I get atmos when atmos is offered from Disney plus.  kinda underwhelmed by the arc. My beam 1 seems much punchier trying to nail down these settings for the arc.  Got a mini sub to go along but haven’t installed yet. Room is smaller 14X20
