I have recently purchased two Roams to replace two aging UE Megaboom speakers.  The Roams are great while on my WiFi but I didn’t know that you cannot pair two roams to Bluetooth.  My ten year old Megabooms would allow “daisy chain” pairing so you could play them in stereo on Bluetooth.  I was shocked that this is not available on the Sonos.  Please let me know if there is a work around.

I just bought 2 Sonos play:5 gen:1 and I wanna use it as stereo for my tv setup.  but i don’t know how ….😅

Hi question: My living room size is 10'6"x8'10". It opens up in a kitchen (8'8"x9'8") and dining (7'3"x7'1") area. There are no walls between the living, dining and kitchen. Which set-up I should go for? 1) Ultimate Immersive Set with Arc or 2) Immersive Set with Beam? Or anything else? I will use it to watch TV (movies/sports) and music. Thanks in advance. 

Only one of my speakers works at a time now.I have had seven or eight Sonos speakers for ten years or more but now they do not work (all have been upgraded to Sonos 2).I am very technical and three days on I have tried all the obvious solutions, eg resetting each device, rebooting everything, reconfiguring subnet, removing mesh network, but it seems that these speakers are just expensive bricks now. Anyone else experienced this or have any ideas ?A mate suggested that Sonos cannot cope with the two wavebands on WiFi and this was the problem. The only causality I by have is that I switched from iPhone to Pixel and that's when my problems started.This is mad....

what is the function of TV Autoplay and why would i want to choose it or not?

I am planning to install Sonos system in our basement. I have a media room which is 325 sqft (18’x18’) and open basement which is roughly 1300 sqft. my questions- should I put an Arc, 2-Era 300 and 1 sub (gen3) in media room. Is that a lot or less? Media room will have 85” tv and we usually don’t watch movies too loud.and for the main open area is Arc, 2-Era 300 and 1 sub (gen3) enough or do I need more.And say I want to play just plain music in both media room and open basement. Can I connect both to play same music?is there better option for me than stated above. All suggestions welcome.Sorry for so many questions. A newbie here!  

My two Era 100 speakers are suddenly not pairing up...each plays some different and trying to group them isn’t working...please help!

I have seen similar questions but still no satisfactory answer;  My setup is quite simple -Macbook Air M1 2020 running OS 14.1.1Sonos Play:3 and Play:1All Music on a single iTunes library //MacBook-Air-???/MusicOften when I go to play I receive a message “//MacBook…  is no longer available.  The device At first I thought this happened if the machine went into sleep mode when Sonos was playing but it just seems to happened regularly and randomly.  Often if I want to update the library.The problem started only after upgrading to the MacBook Air.  Never used to happen on my old machines.The only solution each time is to delete the library path and re-add the library.Can someone please help.  Driving me mad

I have had drop problems with KPIG (subscription radio station) for several years. I finally figured out a solution. I sign in on my KPIG browser app and then go to Sound output on my Mac Mini. There I choose a Sonos AirPlay speaker. Next, I go to my Sonos app and Play Everywhere. I can listen to KPIG 24/7 without a drop. 

My Sonos move was purchased new in the Summer of 2022.  It has worked until about 2 weeks ago when the battery light (lower light behind the grill of the speaker) starting flashing orange.  The Move is 99% docked on the charging station, so I thought the power may have been an issue.  I tried a different outlet, but no change.  I tried a direct line C cable, but no change. I read information that perhaps the battery may be dying (or dead) so I ordered a new one from Sonos.  I installed the new battery (good documentation on the packaging, by the way.  Simple install) but no change. I’ve tried the “hold power button down for 30 seconds while off the dock”, “hold the (infinity symbol) button down while the Move is off the charger then while holding it down install on charger” to “reboot”, but no luck.  Whether I’m using the new battery or old battery, the Move is dead.  I’m not getting any response no matter what buttons I push or for short or long periods of pressing.  At this point, I

Beam gen2 quick start guide says need to connect to tv and ensure tv is on before start add to system in app. Can I add a beam to system without the tv connection to Android Sonos app?

I know these topics are throughout the forums but I figured I’d start my own to separate from others and finally submit my own logs.I submitted my logs (ID: 873786225)My current setup consists of a mix of older S1 gear and new using both the apps S1 and S2, these are all WM1 (wireless) and none are hardwired in and all within the coverage of two Unifi APs. S1:3x Sonos Connects (ZP 90)S2:1x Play 5 (Gen 2) 1x Play 1 (Gen 1) 2x Era 100 1x Connect Amp (ZP120)Tried & Tested:I have tried hard wiring in a few of these devices and had the same issue, so I put them all back to being on wireless rather than creating a SonosNet wifi network which may clash. I have also tried static IPs via MAC in the Unifi Gateway outside of my set DHCP range, no change. Rebooted all the Sonos boxes, Gateways, any/all my networking hardware. I'm running into a bit of a snag with my Sonos setup lately. It seems like some of my speakers are playing hide and seek with the connection – they keep dropping out on me! 😅 I've gone through the usual troubleshooting routine: rebooting, checking for updates, but no luck so far. Hello, this has probably been addressed several times, but I have a question about Android. I replaced my iPad for a Galaxy Tab and it can't airplay. Is there an app that can stream music from the radio to Sonos for example? Thank you

I have a system which includes a pair of Sonos Ones and a Beam all working together in one room, and older Play3 in another room and finally a Roam and a Move in the final room. I work from home and I typically play the Roam and Move together as one to listen to during the day,I previously used Apple Music app and then selected the airplay option to connect to those two together. However they wouldnt always connect despite always showing in the list of speakers. Just says fails to connect. So I ended up switching to using the Sonos app, selecting another room (usually the play3 as only that and the Ones would appear via the app), going to apple music and starting a track. I then would press the room grouping option and wait for the move and roam to appear. Eventually they would, talking minutes. THen deselect the room i didnt want and off i go.Sometimes this would last all day, but if i a playlist ended I then go and select another via apple music (through the sonos app) it would say c

New Sonos Move 2 unboxed, managed to add to system no problem, however several settings toggles will not toggle in app. Key one being auto-true play, but also the power saving mode. Also seem to have an issue installing any voice services. Have not encountered this issue before on any products. Have tried factory reset of the Move 2 (Via the Off / On + bluetooth power cycle), and have checked the microphone switch is turned to on. App & system firmware updated to latest version, have tried both iPhone + iPad apps.

I am in the market for a home theater setup for a room I am converting into a literal theater in my house. I have looked at other products sent to me from friends but if what I am trying to accomplish could be done with Sonos/Sonance I would rather go that route as my entire home is already powered by Sonos. I have Frontier Fiber internet w/Youtube TV being installed next week. I currently have my Boost wired to my TP Link router which is connected to a very old router/modem. Once they change out the router to the new Eeros router I will connect my Boost to the new Eeros router or do I connect my TP Link router to Eeros so that I can connect my Boost to the TP Link router? Thus creating Sonosnet for the rest of my Sonos speakers. I’m hoping for a smooth transition to Frontiers new Fiber internet for my Sonos system. 

I just downloaded the Sonos Windows App an I find it so much better to useIf I use the desktop app will it play Dolby Atmos through my Arc like it does with the IOS app?Ta

Hi there - I’m currently trying to troubleshoot the following situation: I’m setting up an in-office Sonos system.  We have one shared network, and we’ve set up four Sonos Fives around the office.  I am the admin for this system, and it works fine.  Separately, I set up a single Era 300 for one specific office.  It’s assigned to a different system with a different account admin, but on the same network.If I log into my Sonos account, I only see the system that I own - the Sonos Fives - which is exactly what I want.  However, if I log into my Spotify, I can access the Era 300 and play through it.  I want to make sure that the Era 300 is not usable by anyone but the person who occupies the office/owns the system.  How do we accomplish this?
