When will Sonos release the update for Inverted Era 300 tuning?

Prior to purchasing Sonos products I was using Apple Airport Express to wirelessly connect to compact stereos around the house.  Is it possible to connect to the Airport Express with the Sonos app?

Ever since the last S1 software update, I’ve been unable to add a 1,400 track playlist to the queue.It was usually ok before that, it now fails every single time.It times out after 10 seconds.Short playlists are ok.I’ve rebooted the router and all the speakers.I’ve got a Play5 connected directly to a Bridge via ethernet, even on its own it fails.I can play on Spotify and then use Sonos speakers, but I can’t set that up as an alarm.

I have a Beam 2 and 2 Era 100 speakers. As far as I know the Beam creates a 5 ghz network to connect with the Eras to form a surround system. But we, the users do not have any control over the settings of this network. And as I know the Beam do changes in it based on something.And this is causing many, many problems at home, because I have a 5 ghz wi-fi network for all my devices and very often the Beam is causing interference with my wi-fi. In many cases as soon the beam starts working when I’m watching something or listening to music my wi-fi speed drops from 200-300 mbits up/down to under 60 megabits and sometimes even to 5-7mbits. Seconds after I unplug the Beam 2 and it’s network disappears my wi-fi stars working normally again. So my conclusion is that it’s the Beam that causes the problems. And that was verified multiple times. And because I don’t have any control over Beam’s network and because it changes it there is nothing I can do. There is no point of doing any changes in m

My ARC is having an issue when it is connected to the TV it automatically starts turning the volume down to mute. However, it doens’t stop, it keeps lowering. It’s as if someone has a remote and is constantly pressing the volume down button. Curiously, it does not turn itself down if I just play music through it. Only when it is connected to the TV, we also don’t have a remote for the TV and only use an Apple remote. I have tried the following.Cleaned the physically volume buttons. Removed Apple TV and connected it directly through the television. (Still occurrs)Replaced the HDMI cableReset the television. Removed the ARC from the TV and played the TV though the inbuilt speakers (Dosen’t turn itself down)I don’t want to reset the ARC just yet in case someone can pull some diagnostics data out. 

Hi, when I connect Sonos arc with a couple of years old Samsung tv, tv says a device supporting atmos connected. however, from there on the source basically changes between tv speakers and arc in about two seconds intervals. Sound never comes out from arc but tc speaker instead. So no output even for a a few second when the settings says source is Sonos arc. Using Sonos supplied cable and tested million times if the eARC connections are loose. They seem not to be loose, also have tried with three different HDMI cables. Also done all cables and equipment off for 10 minutes but no cure. What should I do next. Sonon Arc works properly when using with my another (tiny) Samsung tv so Arc itself is no faulty. Could the eARC port in the television be faulty?

The battery of my Roam when not in used, drop dead after one day, is it normal

I own 10 or more Sonos products.  Love the sound.  But…There is nothing more frustrating than trying to get one to connect.  I just spent 45 minutes trying to get my “Roam” to connect via wifi.  Once I got that going I was asked to reauthorize my Sirius XM account… which then proceeded to gray out all channels.  2 hours later I’m still without a working speaker after deleting Sirius, closing the app, re-adding it, deleting the app, reinstalling the app, deleting it from my laptop and phone, and so on.  I was on with customer service but then my Sirius username & PW was getting kicked back in the Sonos app (and it was the correct credentials, I signed in to the Sirius app directly with the same info) so they said it was user error.   Any suggestions?  Return all of it?Why is this so hard? My 10 year son can get his $14 blue tooth speaker in 10 seconds or less.  I’m thousands of dollars in and nothing today...

I have now new LG TV Oled65c2 which comes with new Bluetooth remote MR22GN (no IR support) and connected it to old Sonos Playbar via optical cable, sa it was expected that there is no volume control available on Sonos from that tv and its remote.So I have decided to make upgrade and going to buy Sonos Arc and connect it to tv via HDMI eArc, but before doing that I would like to be sure that it will allow me to control volume of soundbar without any additional remote just through Hdmi Arc connection. Maybe this is trivial question but I want to be 100% sure 

Hello, After adding a device, I have one particular zone that keeps dropping out of the group. I saw on this forum, splitting one group into multiple may help. It did not. Not even after 5 minutes of playing music. I’ve tried different playlist, resetting the device, redownloading the app, changing the line outputs, connecting to a ethernet cable versus wirelessly to an access point. is it possible this device is defective or bad?

Hi!I have a recurring issue with our Sonos Roam.It is populated with lots of episodes of a children’s series.The idea is, that our daughter just can press play when she wants to listen to it.The Roam is connected to power all the time.Battery saver and WiFi Power save is on, but this does not make a difference.What happens is as follows:Every few days the Roam shows up as „not connected“ in the iPhone app. As such, I cannot control it from the app anymore.Pressing play just plays a click sound and the left LED flashes white twice. It does not start playing and does not wake up (i.e. still not connected in the app).When pressing the button on the back, it plays a two note chime, still nothing happens.The only thing that helps is holding the button on the back until the turning off chime plays - waiting a few seconds and then turn the Roam on again by pressing the button again shortly.I made a short video, that shows the behavior:Any idea or help is much appreciated! 

My Music Library is shared both from my wife’s Win 10 laptop and my Linux laptop (running Linux Mint 21.3), which shares my Music folder via samba.  After the SONOS update to 16.0, my system doesn’t recognize the Music folder on my Linux laptop, and I can’t re-add it to the library.  Nothing was changed on my laptop, only the SONOS software update.  I can see the Music folder on my laptop using File Manager on my wife’s laptop, so I know it’s sharing properly on our home network. I’ve added these lines to smb.conf as I’ve read in various SONOS support threads, but no joy:[global]server min protocol = NT1unix extensions = nontlm auth = yesHas anyone else experienced this issue after updating?  And has anyone found a solution?

I am getting the message of [ “Unable to play “Sonos radio” access denied ] this morning. I saw this was an issue a few years ago and it fixed itself.  Is anyone else experiencing this right now? Does anyone know how ling it takes before it is back to normal?

I had an issue with Planet Rock App premium keep cutting out. Went through support, they decided it was a Planet Rock app issue. So I canceled my premium subscription and started to listen through the TuneIn app, which never cut out.That is until I have just updated to the new TuneIn app and guess what - its now started to cut out every 4 mins or so, so just the same behaviour as the Planet Rock app had.Doesn’t cut out on iPhone or iPad. I don’t have a premium subscription on TuneIn, so it is not a authorising issue. Planet Rock is fine from Sonos Radio as well. 

Hello, I have connected my sonos Arc, sonos Sub and 1 One SL to my freebox without problem. But Impossible to connect the second One SL to my Freebox. I reset my One SL, LED is flashing green. In my app when I add product the sonos One SL is detected but a the next step , « Preparing your Sonos One SL in progress... » , there is an error : « Your mobile device was unable to connect to your Sonos One SL. Check that your Sone One SL is plugged into a power outlet. ».I did a lot of checking. the sonos one sl is in the same place as the other products. I tried to connect it via ethernet directly to my freebox. I tried by setting channel 1, 6 and 11 on my freeBox. I deactivated the 5ghz card on my freebox.... I don't know what to do anymore. If someone has an idea ?

Hi people , just wondering if anyone else is having problems with beam 2 ?Voices appear very tinny and with no mid or bass to it also they are overpowered by rears even when used on +0. I also have sub Gen 3 and it works fine.I done trupelay many times but it won't change anything. Any action in the movie's and it's blasting all the effects 2-3 times louder then voices. Really annoying and have to play with volume all the time.I updated to newest software but it was like that from last update. Any ideas what is going on and how can I fix it ?Thank you guys.

Trying to reconnect a One speaker, a new room was created although I picked the correct room to add it to. How to fix?

I am constantly having to change the volume when playing back songs in playlists created through Apple Music. Is there a way in Sonos to equalise / normalise the playback volume?

Hi everyone,First of all sorry for my english I’m french…. :) I have a problem to use my sonos arc with AirPlay. When I want to listen music with airplay from m IPhone, it askes for un password that I don’t have…I have read a lot of topics about it….I reset my sonos I don’t have my sonos set in my app homeI don’t know what I can do more…If someone have a solution ? :) 

I have an Arc, Sub & 2x One SLs that have been running just fine since I got them nearly 2 years ago. I have an LG OLED TV with eArc, and I’m running version 15.1 of the app.Recently, on some random occasions, the voice part of the audio has started to come out of the right hand surround speaker, and not out of the Arc. It’s as if the surround has been reversed - what should be out of the Arc is coming out of the right hand surround and vice versa. The left hand surround appears to be working normally, as well as the sub. It’s weird, I’m not gonna lie. If I turn the surrounds off, the Arc works normally with the sub.The problem persists whether I’m watching regular TV on Sky Q or apps on Apple TV. I’ve not done anything different to normal, it just happened but I can’t remember if it was after a channel change or after a pressed pause moment. I don’t know when the 15.1 update happened, and I don’t know the date the problem first happened, so I don’t know if it’s anything to do with

Setting up a new outdoor pool and patio speaker set up.   I want to use Sonance SGS 8.1 Garden Series or Sonance - SR1 Sonarray Outdoor Speaker system with a Sonos - Amp 250W 2.1 Amplifier.   Will this work?   Do I have to add any other devices to stream Apply Play through the Amp?   Also, if I want to expand the system can I use the Sonance SGS 4 SAT Pack Garden series and ties directly in this set up? Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to set up my Sonos Beam Gen 2 with my LG TV all day.  I can get sound from the Beam 2 but I cannot go through the Sonos App TV Setup.  Everytime I get to the test connnection, it gives me the error of Arc Mode not Connected.  However, every setting in my TV is set correctly. I have used multiple HDMI Cables, and had LG  remote into my TV to make sure I had it correct. I have reset the Sonos Beam to factory settings as well, but that didnt help either Sonos customer service couldnt help me earlier.  I spent about an hour in live chat with them…..any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know what the screw sizes for the official Sonos One stands are?Thanks a lot !
