Good morningI'm having trouble successfully adding the boost device to my system.I received a used device for my friend.The device has been reset and restored to factory settings.They can be physically added to my speaker system.Unfortunately, there is an error when registering the device in my SONOS account.The procedure ends with the boost being added to the S2 controller, unfortunately with a red message that it has not been assigned to my account.As a result, the device cannot be used and some controller functions are disabled.The new boost is not in the list of my devices on SONOS.The previous owner used the device with an S1 controller.What can I do in this situation?Do I need to unregister from the previous user's account and system?Or maybe it's a hardware problem?Please advise and helpRegards Tomasz

Hi there. I just got 2 Ones and a sub Mini and when I stereo pair the ones, and then add the sub mini to the system, the music only plays out of 1 of the ones and not the sub either. But if I remove it all, the sub works perfectly with 1 one. I tried resetting everything to “start over” and I have the same problem. Any recommendations? 

Are there any plans to add more than just two speakers to surround? This feels really limiting for some rooms. 

Is it possible to replace the power cable on a Play 5 Gen 2 ?  The current cable is cracked. Thanks

Since S2 exists if problems with the app on all of my devices iphone 10 - 12 iPad Air  it takes long before the app  has started up  it takes long before I can see the content (grey) of my home.  many times I can not move the volume slider so I need to kill and restart the app.this all is very frustrating. pls help. 

Recently I have noticed the volume drop on my Arc setup. It is for a few seconds only and the sound drops to barely audible (it does not cut out completely)In the last few weeks it has become increasingly more frequent in occurence. It happens either when the input is just regular TV or from a HDMI input from a n AppleTVlocal button control is disabledI dumped a diagnostic event once it happened this evening : 2071955409 Any help would be appreciated

I have a Sony STR-DH190 receiver that I have connected to a turntable and two passive speakers. I also own a Sonos Era 100 and a Sonos Arc. I’m trying to connect my receiver to my Sonos speakers so that I can play music through both my passive speakers and through my Sonos speakers simultaneously.The Sonos Port is a bit too expensive for me, so I’m looking into a used Connect Gen2. I’ve seen that there is a 75ms delay, but the speakers are in different rooms so I think that will be fine. I just want to confirm that I’d be able to both play music through the Connect into the receiver (to go into my passives) AND connect to my Sonos speakers simultaneously, so that all three rooms would be play together. Hoping this would also allow me to play my records and have them connect to every room as well.

I have inherited a couple on Sonos Ones (A100) and want to use them for casual listening in study and kitchen but link them to my proper hifi in the living room which I use for serious music listening. I understand that I need a Connect but they are discontinued so I’m looking to get one second hand but there seem to be a number of different models.I need one that is compatible with the Sonos Ones (A100 version) and preferably without an amp built in as I have a better quality amp already. Does anybody know which model number I should be looking for?

I manually created a station based on a song in the Sonos app Apple Music section  If I say, Hey Sonos, I don’t like this song It replaces what is playing with something else  If I say  Hey Sonos, like this song  It says I will play more songs like this on Apple Music  Is that specifically tailored songs altering the playlist of the station based on that song  Or more generally 

Is it possible to migrate compatible Sonos units one by one from Sonos 1 to Sonos 2 systems?  Most of the incompatible units I have are in hard to reach places and so would be much easier if could keave the Sonos 1 system as is and gradually move the compatible  units one by one to new Sonos 2 system (which I have in one room). Thanks for any suggestions. 

I have seen a lot posted on this but never an answer that works.  I have two speakers in different rooms that I would like to group.The group function in settings is greyed out if you only have two rooms so that is not an optionI can group the speakers by pulling up the system and hitting the little square with an arrow next to the room I want to pair.  However, I have to do that everytime I use the system.  I listen to albums, so every time one side of an album finishes, the speakers disconnect.  I flip the record, start the record, and then have to go into the app again to connect the rooms. This is annoying. How can I group the two speakers so I do not have to constantly go into the app and reconnect them every time a side of an album finishes?

My current WiFi router is several years old but was powerful when I got it, and I’m wondering if a new router might actually make my Sonos less stable.The old/existing router is graded like this: 2.4 GHz 800 Mbps, 5GHz: 1,733Mbps. Since Sonos speakers use 2.4, will updating to this router make my Sonos less stable? The router I’m thinking of buying is graded as: 6 GHz: 2402 Mbps, 5 GHz: 2402 Mbps, 2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps?The old one offers: a/b/g/n/ac and the new one: ax/n/b/g + ax/ac/n/a (+ax 6 GHz).Why upgrade? The old router is perhaps five or six years old, and designed for Asia and Europe, not the USA. Its 5.G channels are 36-48 only, not channels like 165 and 136 that are best in my apartment. I have had constant channel interference issues with my 7 Sonos speakers, where they often disconnect from each other. I have changed channels on my router between 1,6,11 on 2.4 GHz and tried wired to router and not wired.  Thoughts welcome thank you. 

New ROAM speaker fully charged on SONOS charging pad and the bottom light continues to blink orange slowly (stops when I remove from charging base). I don’t remember the Previous Roam speaker I had doing this…is this an “issue” or just an indication of being on the charging base?

What will be the Best EQ setting for Sonos 7.2.4 system ( Version 16.0 ). Default setting is flat on treble, trying to get better balance between TREBLE and BASS. Current EQ :Bass : -1Treble : +4Loudness : ONTrueplay : ONSub : +1Surround : 0Height : +4Volume Limit : OFFNight Sound : OFFSpeech Enhancement : OFF With above setting DOBLY ATMOS content sounds ok but everything else is not good.  

Can someone tell me why the Sonos Arc  deactivates the templink on LG TVs when plugged into the HDMI Arc, as long as this happens bluetooth is not enabled on the LG TV??  If I use another brand center speaker using the HDMI Arc on the television I do not have this problem???? 

The queue displays fewer songs then the original spotify playlist. Let's say that the playlist has 300 songs, but looking at the queue, it says there are ony 200.

I have an LG C2 OLED TV, capable of both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. I have a Sonos system connected through eARC composed of an Arc Soundbar, current gen Sub, and 2 Era 300s set up as surrounds. What I believe to be the relevant settings for my TV regarding sound are Digital Sound Output set to Pass Through, HDMI Input Audio Format set to Bitstream, and eARC Support enabled. My HDMI eARC port is HDMI 2, I have a Fire Cube Gen 3 in HDMI 3 and a PS5 in HDMI 1, but I believe the functionality of the different ports is the same, except for the eARC port, of course. I have also tested the Fire Cube in HDMI 1, and the same behavior described below occurs. On the Fire Cube, when performing the Audio and Video Diagnostic function, which displays information about the TV’s capabilities, Audio Capabilities show a “Yes” for MAT, Atmos, DD+, DD, and PCM Audio. I have (3) Sonos one speakers, (1) Sonos Play:1, and a Sonos Beam in my basement where we mainly watch our movies. For reference the basement is 30’x35’. I used to only have the (2) Sonos one speakers and had them set up as surround for the beam with them in the back corners of the room. I recently acquired the other Sonos one and Play:1 speakers from my father and trying to figure the best way to configure the setup for optimal sound. If I cannot setup the play:1 as a stereo pair with the other one I received from my father (for free) should I ditch it and go purchase another Sonos one for optimal sound setup? Really wanting an immersed surround sound for movies and watching sporting events. Thanks.

How would I play my Chirp audiobooks from iPhone to Sonos? (I only saw an answer regarding non-Apple products.)

I have a Samsung TV connected to a Sonos Arc over HDMI arc connection.  When I pause the TV and then resume playing the volume drops to a low setting and I need to turn it back up each time. Anyone experience this issue and if it's a Sonos or Samsung issue? 

I am resetting up a pair of Sonos One Speakers. I have reset them and they are connected to my wifi network. However, my phone does not show them in Bluetooth mode. What am I doing wrong

I have successfully connected Spotify, BBC Sounds, Audible and other services to my Nilfisk Sonos speaker. However when attempting to connect Apple Music I repeatedly get an error message after inputting the Apple password when prompted. I want to be able to play my Apple music library songs BUT am not a paid subscriber to Apple Music - is this why?  

My Sonos PLay:3 gen 1 keeps failing the update process.  The speaker has been reset multiple times, deleted and reinstalled S2 app, connected directly to my router with ethernet cable and nothing works.    Update keeps failing no matter what I do.  I’ve bought and added other gen 1 Play:3 speakers to my S2 system, but this one will not update.    Any ideas or thoughts?
