Good day, I have the following SONOS setup in my flat (65m2):2 Five, 1 Sub - Living room 2 One - Kitchen 2 Play:1 - Bedroom 1 Play:1 - BathroomConnected via Sonos Boost (Boost is connected directly to a UDM Pro Port, same default VLAN), all stereo pairs except in the bathroom. All updated to the latest version 16.1. Normally all speakers play together / all rooms are selected to play the same music.I have the following  issue:Very often (but not always), when I start playing music from the mobile app (android 14, tried on a Pixel, Samsung and Xiaomi device), only 1 speaker would start play in the stereo pairs (always the same speaker, the right one) when various rooms are selected to play. The other speaker in the stereo pair does not play music (no matter if streaming or local). In order to get the second speaker in the stereo pairs to play, in need to unselect all rooms (let only one room play), as soon as I unselect the rooms, the room that is remaining active for playing music cuts

The Sonos App bombs every time I try to connect. When I go and use the Spotify App it finds it immediately with no trouble and connects. I have seen related issues but no one is answering about any fixes. It Is An App issue not a Network issue. I would hope this is addressed in an upcoming update. The Sonos One works fine with Spotify, but not with the Sonos App. Please fix this. Great Speaker poor App.

hi all, i have a sonos system, sub gen 3, 8 x play 1’s, arc  which i have had for years all working fine no probs. i also have a technics 1210 turntable ( old skool ) which i want to connect to my system. someone told me i need a speaker with an aux input, so i went and purchased a era 100,connected the rca leads to rca-3.5mm jack convertor, then the 3.5mm jack to usb-c to plug into the era 100,that did not work, and then i was told i would need a preamp between the turntable and the speaker, i then took the speaker back, but want to connect my turntable to my sonos system. do i need to purchase the sonos amp?it will not be connected to anything else; ie: wired speakers or another amp. i just want my turntable to be able to work with my existing sonos speakers.  thanks in advance.

Hi All, before I was getting pop pop pop feedback on my Era100’s when adjusting the volume on the soft touch control. I noticed its now gone. How to I turn this on again?

As far as I am informed it is still not possible to use two era 300’ s as a stereo pair when listening to music when these two era 300’s are setup in a surround setting together with an arc and a sub gen 3.If you want to use them as stereo pair,  everything needs to be installed from the start?And if I want to switch back to home cinema setup, I need to install them once more? Why is it not possible to switch between cinema setup and stereo setup in the Sonos appIt would be great when I can youse the 2 Era 300’s for listening to music or cinema with a simple press of a button. Will there be an update to let this work in the future ??  

Recently got a new home wifi (T-Mobile home) and I’ve gotten all of my Sonos speakers to work with it.  All except my Move.  It won’t find the new network and the app (iPhone and MacBook) can “see” it but they believe it’s “powered off” even while the Move is on and sitting on the charging ring.  I can’t get it to turn to reset mode and can’t even get my system to delete it so that I can re-add it.  Thanks for any help! 

No suxess Connecting Ray to Mac mini (3,5 out) by audio optical to Ray. Any help please? How it is possible? I have adapter to modify from analog to digital but not receiving. Ray is working by Air Play nicely. Audio opical has a red light inside, signal is ok.

Hello everyone, My current set up: Sonos Arc SL, Apple TV (latest gen) and an LG OLED65CXPUA. I also have the latest HDMI cables. Issue: TV will turn off randomly at times, most notably when watching YouTube TV. Sometimes it will make a buzzing noise and the TV turn itself off and at times it will take a couple minutes to come on. Other instances it will come back on in 30 seconds. I have tried everything under the sun to try and fix this issue. Turned off CEC, turned off EARC, switched HDMI cables and even ports, power cycle, etc. I’ve come across other TV such as Sony and Samsung having similar issues even without an Apple TV. Was there a recent update that broke something with the connection with other devices? This makes watching anything almost unbearable.  I would say within an hour of watching TV the does its little reset at least twice and as much as 4 times. If anybody has a solution or a possible way to roll back a certain update please let me know. Thanks.

I recently purchased a pair of Era 100’s, which I’ve been very happy with, but a few of the services I add to the Sonos App do not play. I have no issues with Spotify, Plex, Audacy, etc but I received an “Access Denied” error with SXM and “Unable to Play” with YTMusic. Some of my troubleshooting steps:deleted both services and re-added Re-authorized both services Rebooted Sonos system and my router Changed my DNS Tried to play via Windows and another deviceEach troubleshooting attempt ends with the same error. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. HelloI am a Sonos ARC user, which I only use with the TV.I am interested in complementing the equipment with a pair of ERA 300 with the intention of integrating them with the ARC with the double intention of adding surround speakers for home theater, but, above all, to listen to music in stereo. In my humble opinion, ARC as a stand-alone speaker, does not seem to me to stand out to listen to music. I think it lacks spatiality.The problem is that, after having asked to technical support, they tell me that I can configure the pair of ERA 300 as surround speakers of the ARC or as a pair of independent stereo speakers, but not have both configurations defined at the same time. The solution they propose is to configure the ERA as surrounds of the ARC and listen to music with this configuration.The question I would like to ask is if anyone has integrated a pair of ERA 300 with an ARC, and what results do they offer when playing music. I have not yet tried to listen to music with Dolby Atmos

This happens most often with Sonos but also with my music library. It just skips songs in the middle. it says it can’t read the song suddenly and then skips it. This happens if I use Sonos via my phone or my computer. And whether I go through the Sonos app or the Tidal app.Now I know some people will say I should reactivate my Tidal account. The problem is I do that and it works for a few hours but then we’re back to skipping. If the solution is every couple of hours to logout and relogin or install and uninstall apps, I’d rather get my money back for false adverting and just wire my house with speakers the way we did in the old days.  

Can a Playbase be connected to a DVD/CD player AND a TV at the same time?

Good evening, I have been setting up my new setup : 5 sonos one, 1 sub and one Sonos Beam for the Tv (with the optical port adaptor). I use the 5 speakers and the sub for spotify and everything works fine.Now, if i wanted to watch tv and have the sound on both the beam and the Sonos speakers. Is this actually even possible? How would i need to proceed? Create a new group (independant from the ones for Spotify ie 5 Sonos One and the Sub)? To do that setup does the Beam has to be connected to the TV through the optical cord or the regular Arc port? Also, how would the Sonos know they have to play the tv sound ? I did try to look for s similar question in topics and could not find what i needed - sorry if the questions was asked before. Many thanks in advance, Damien  

Hi everyone, I’m just redesigning my open plan lounge and the sofa shall be in the middle. My only options to wall mount are either offset to the left and right directly behind (but this about 2.5m) or directly to the left and right of the sofa again about 2.5m or so.is there a optimal placement out of the two? I could get stands for behind the sofa but I have 3 young children and fear them knocking them over.  my worry is if they’ll be loud enough that far away? For reference I’m running an arc and 2 x sub gen 3s also

hi, I have several Play:1 speakers and I’m thinking of buying a BEAM or RAY to connect to my TV. Will it be possible to stream my tv sound on the Play:1 devices ?

About 5 years ago this topic was dealt with (see below), but excuse my inexperience, I don’t quite understand the answer shown ie I cannot see where I have to make the change. Take pity on me, I am an S1 user. How and where on my S1 app to do I go? Many thanks.  Is there a way to add all my songs on my iphone to the queue in one step? Browse to "on this phone" then a play all. Same question for the PC controller. I find it very frustrating to have to build a playlist.iconBest answer by jgatieBrowse to the library either On This Phone or My Music Lubrary, choose Songs, choose Play All or Shuffle All.

I am wanting to set up a surround sound system in my basement. I have a sonos beam that will connect to the tv via hdmi arc. Then I have two in wall speakers (not sonos) that are above the tv to the left and right. I also have two ceiling speakers in the rear to the left and right. I also have a sony sub that I want to use. I would like all the speakers to play from my tv in sync. From what I read, I think that I will need two sonos amps, one to the front speakers, one to the rear speakers.Here are my questions:  How does the surround sound setup work with the beam? Do i choose the placement of the speakers on the app or something ? Which amp should i plug the sub into? Do i need to connect the amps to the tv via Hdmi arc and if so how would i go about doing that If not ^ and they work through internet, should I hardwire the beam and the 2 amps via ethernet? How reliable is this system vs a traditional AV receiver?

When I open the app, my Move speakers turn on (light on top of the unit comes on). How do I turn the speakers off with the app? 

Hello I have a Sonia amp which has been professionally installed . It worked for 10mins and then a red scd white flashing light has come on. After an hour with dojos support rebooting and doing what they told me it's still not working.  it's one amp and 4 speakers can anyone help me solve this. the amp has strong wifi  

Hi I'm a Sonos partner and system integrator in the uk. we have a Sonos system at a clients house that has a very high level of security on their network, we are having huge issues with latency and the app sometimes taking 2-3 seconds to respond to a comment. I was unable to attend the recent online advanced network course and am unable to find it. can you please generate a case and give me a number so that we can raise this at the integrator - dealer level.  many thanks

I took my Era 300 to a mates for the weekend for him to evaluateLike a fool I forgot to take it home but having added Play3s to my arc as home theatre I am quite enjoying music on that. I shall be recoving my Era in March That does give him time for a longer evaluationand he has downloaded the S2 App and plays through itHe reports a problem that when he increases the volume it resets back to low Anyone got a suggestion to the problem?He is on Apple music shared subscription
