I have several Sonos one speakers and 2 Era 100s.  They were all working fine.  I get a message that the Era speakers need an update and when I started the update I got Error Code 30.  I called support and they say that the Era speakers will not communicate with my Spectrum router.  But they used to work on this router until the update.  I’m about ready to return the speakers.  Any ideas on how to get them to work?

Sonos every couple of weeks loses the network.  Finds the devices then ask to reboot my home router.  My Home router is working NO reason to reboot.  I off/on speaker for 5 sec.  So then app find multiple systems. “let’s confirm”.  Find my Qty 2 era 100’s with Mac address. So far so good right?   I have to rejoin the same network.   “connecting’ takes minutes.”then time out.  I do this 2 -3 times and it connects eventually.  Speakers are in the same room as the router.   Other devices in different rooms and floors are connected and stay connected.   What is the deal with the Sonos Network?

Every day for the past few months, the first time I ask Alexa a question that she has to go to the internet for, she responds “Sorry, something went wrong”. Hola,Os escribo para ver si me podéis echar una mano.Primero os cuento lo que tengo:TV Lg C2 AppleTv 4k 2023 Sonos arc con sub mas dos One conectados al puerto eArc de la Tv.El motivo por el que os escribo es que en algunas ocasiones al reproducir desde el AppleTv contenido en multicanal PCM 5.1 o 7.1 no se reproduce la pista de audio principal por la Arc y se reproduce por los One, para que se reproduzca correctamente tengo que salir de la reproducciones y volver a entrar varias ocasiones hasta que se reproduce correctamente.Por mas que he tocado la confirmación de la Tv y del AppleTv no he conseguido que deje de hacerlo y solo cuando configuro la Tv en modo transferencias parece que no lo hace pero no se reproducen todos los sonidos como cuando está en automático. Todas las configuraciones de la Tv los tengo en Automático y Bitstream.La gente de Sonos estuvo analizando los logs de diagnóstico y no encontraron nada.Desde la Tv desconozco si se comporta de esta manera ya que siempre us

I have a couple of Play 5’s in my media room.  I want to add a soundbar and send the sound from the TV to the sound bar through the HDMI Arc cable.    question, can the play 5’s be wirelessly grouped with the soundbar (such as the Arc) so sound will automatically come from all three speakers 

Hi everyone !i finally bite the bullet and got a sonos sound system. I ordered beam gen 2 first and in my 18 sq meter living room i was a tad underwhelmed. I read so much about it and also checked it myself in department store and i was waowed but… at home it felt a bjt underwhelming. Clarity was amazing but almost i can say it was rich enough. I got sub mini and that was a game changer. Dverything elevated! Sound was fuller and richer. I can genuinely hear the difference and felt what everyone was saying (sub mini will help beam to offload the low frequencies). anyway, after my long winded entrance….lets talk about surrounds. Era 100 s were next to order. They havent arrived yet but i am already regretting a bit my purchase since i feel like it wont be that different for a surround speaker compared to sonos one. I know there is an extra tweeter and mid woofer bigger etc. But… i wondered if i am gonna be still ok with a second hand cheaper sonos one for rear. thoughts? Anyone tried bot

We are a bar/cafe. We have 2 Sonos Ones mounted high up (we need a ladder to reach them if that's useful to know) from which we play Spotify through our wifi connection, from an iPad mounted to the bar.We now want to set up a (preferably Audio Technica) turntable to play vinyl records. It's important that we're able to switch between the turntable and Spotify seamlessly and we want to avoid the cost/clutter of wires. Is there any way to connect a turntable, wirelessly, to our existing Sonos setup? I’ve read that we can use a Sonos Port or a Sonos Roam but I want to make sure its easy to switch between Spotify and Vinyl.Thank you for your help.

I’ve a reasonable Sonos system consisting of various One’s Move, Playbase, Sub etc. I quite often do a full group play around the house while doing stuff. It’s not that often though I sit in from of my Mac and listen to music on one individual Beam. I had been aware though with YouTube that the sound of definitely around 70/30 to the left in pan. Made more aware of it this evening while listening to some actual music.  I’ve tried various sources, Mac via hardwired HDMI through a CALDigit TB3 Hub (normal setup)Tried airplay from my Mac, iPhone, iPad but all with the same pan issue. I do however have a second Beam connected to a TV in one of the bedrooms. Quick swap out and the issue persists.Double checked the stereo on the Playbase and that’s perfectly down the middle.  Any advice please?

Long but narrow room 17ft x9ft my seating position is 6ft away from sound bar and TV, my sofa is up against the wall so rears would be about 7or 8 inches behind me.So my set up Will be the arc and gen 3 sub and I'm thinking of getting the era 100's as rear suround, will the sound bar drown the rears out or will I still achieve suround sound. 

I have a Sonos system that I bought a long time ago, but I Play 1, sub, bar and boost that I have enjoy using for a long time. My dad's friend gave me his old Play 3 that he haven't used for awhile. I tried to reset the Play 3 and add to my system but the Sonos app keeps giving me a warning that the app can't connect to the Play 3 and to contact customer service.I looked up YouTube videos and read that I need to factory reset the speaker than add it. I tried the methods by unplugging, holding down the "mute" button and then plug it back in and wait till the Led turns Amber then green.Well, the speaker LED turns Amber than flash white and the mute button flashes green. I never see the LED flash green. I also tried holding down the volume up + mute button and all I get is the Amber LED and a flashing white LED and flashing Green mute button. Still can't add the Play 3 to my system.Any suggestions? 

Hello, If all the speakers are connected in multiroom mode (TV & music), is it possible to play music on just one of them from time to time without disconnecting everything?When I watch TV, sound is played by the speakers, can I playl separately music on the one in the kitchen without disconnecting the multiform settings ? thanks for your help

just hot a sky glass tv, The sound plays ok through the Sonos system but I cannot control the volume, a quick Google seems to show this is a common issue. Just wondering if anyone has found a solution?The soundbar is connected to the tv via HDMI-arc 

My Sonic Beam occasionally cuts out, I have to power off by socket and restart.

I have an Arc and two Three for rear surrounds.Plan on add a Sub later on. I read on a non Sonos forum that it may be possible to add 2 5’s as left and right speaker at the front. Is this correct? Steve

I’m so frustrated to even be writing this, I’ve probably spent 40+ hours troubleshooting my Sonos Move speaker which I got several years ago. Of course, the problems are presented when trying to get the speaker to connect to other Sonos speakers-- the entire point of owning multiple Sonos items :) It’s not my network, the app is updated, the speaker is updated, and I’ve factory reset it maybe 10 times now, since that’s the default fix that every Sonos Customer Service representative suggests. If only resetting the speaker would magically fix its fatal connectivity flaw! After giving up on Wifi connectivity, I plugged one of my Sonos One speakers into an ethernet cord to my modem to create their own special Sonos network. The Sonos One and Sonos SL stay constantly connected now, but the Move speaker drops from the app multiple times a day and becomes unusable. Then I’ll come home later and it’s magically back under available speakers in my app. Funny, right? It’s really unfortunate to p

Sonos beam2 registered in Spain and English language was selected but emails are all sent in spanish.  How do I receive my emails in English?

Hi, I am able to play songs through spotify on my sonos that are in playlists or if i search. If I try and play songs from my library in the ‘songs’ folder they will not play. I receive a (701) error. I have tried rebooting router, rebooting my sonos beam, removing spotify service and adding back to sonos app. The problem still remains. This issue did not always exist. Any help would be appreciated, thank you

OK Until I bought a second Beam, a Gen 2, mid-March 2024 I never had this happen. I always had Alexa active on my Beam G1 and I put it on the G2 as well. To be honest I can’t remember if the Alexa Sonos Skill was always enabled before I bought the Beam G2 and added Alexa to it. Up until now I was able to ask my echo speaker to play a stream such as a radio Station, IHeart or other skill that streams audio; and it would play it on the same device I was talking to. Now it sends it to Sonos automatically. Can I turn this off? Most of the time I like it; would like it better as part of a command only not as a default. Thanks

How do I direct my sonos app. to find my music folder on my Samsung phone?

I’ve recently bought a Samsung S90c tv which has been great. I have a Sonos Arc that is connected to eArc, set to pass-through. I stream through my AppleTV box. Everything works great until I watch something has Dolby Atmos available, which I then get no sound on. Netflix, AppleTV, Disney etc. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you everyone 

Bought my Arc, Sub Gen3 and 2 ERA100’s new in December ‘23. Set them up and have had zero trouble since then. Until now.While streaming shows the Alexa voice randomly interrupts. When this happens the green LED in the center of the ARC comes on, the sounds drops down and Alex’s voice is heard either asking a question or making a statement as if someone said the Alexa wake word. This started about 2 weeks ago. Some times it is once every 10mins or so but then sometimes it is rapid fire, one after the other. There are only two people in a single family house and neither of us say anything nor touch or phones when it happens. Your assistance is appreciated. 

After updating to Ventura 13.2.1, the Sonos Controller Application tries to update, but fails repeatedly. Is this a known issue? If so, what is the solution?

Please click here to see a list of more topics around the same subject. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and have no problems using AirPlay on any of our Sonos speakers (we have 4 rooms with systems), but my husband is trying to use his iPhone 15 Pro Max to use AirPlay and receives the error that AirPlay cannot connect to any of the rooms. He can use the Sonos app to play Apple Music, just not AirPlay.  Any suggestions on what our problem might be?Thanks
