Hi.I've had this Sonos 1 Alexa brand new for 4 years without any problems, until recently.Firstly...I couldn’t get it to stay on, and wouldn't answer my instructions.I Googled for help, and e]eventually managed to factory reset it.But now in the app it states “select your product” then when “searching for nearby products” it will not find it.I’ve tried closer to it, still not recognised, (still searching I guess.)Has it broken down completely, or can I try something else please?any help gratefully received.Thank you.Bob

In the last week, I noticed that my Sonos music library is incomplete and missing items on the PC app. I re-scan the drive and it all reappears only to disappear after the next overnight scanning. I re-scan and all the items reappear etc. Also, on my iPhone on “My Sonos” main page for the mobile app I can see many items but when I pick them, I get a message similar to “items not available” etc though I don’t have the proper language as I just completed a re-scan.. All my speakers are Sonos Moves though that would have nothing to with these issues..

Here's the rephrased scenario:Here's the situation: The Sonos Amp is configured to my WiFi and is functioning smoothly. I'm curious whether the Sonos Amp relies on my phone to continue playing music, especially if I've selected continuous streamers or radio stations that should play uninterrupted.

I require a female optical receptor/converter to the HDMI/Arc input on my sonos soundbar.  Is such a device available?

Hi,Does anybody know what happened to the Sonos Certified Refurbished page for the Irish market? The hdmi cable from my sound bar needs to be much longer to go through the wall to hide wiring and the one supplied is to short. Will any hdmi cable work?

We have been using an old Mac to stream music to speakers via Sonos Port.We have bookmarks in Google Chrome for our favorite stations/programs - but the Mac is so old it needs to be put out to pasture.I have a Samsun Tablet that’s just sitting around - so I thought I would just replace the Mac with the Tablet.Is there a downside?

Hi,Have tried to find an answer to this online, but maybe I’m not using the right search terms. Anyway…I have a Sonos Amp, with a turntable as Line In (powered by a phono amp). It works fine, but I miss the true vinyl sound. So I was thinking - I have my previous amp still. Can I set up a system so that I can play CD and Turntable through the old amp as previously, but connect the Sonos Amp to aux (?) in that amp to stream music to the system. Many thanks in advance for your help! Mark

I have older generation connect running wired speakers to my patio and line in to my TV. Worked perfectly for 5 years or more. Within last year or so the sound starts to fade to barely a whisper no matter volume setting. Neither TV or speakers will work when this happens. I can unplug power to connect for few seconds and once the room is back online it will function perfectly for various amounts of tme before it fades again. I thought it might be connect going out so I bought replacement and that seemed to work but unfortunately that was short-lived. Have been on phone with customer support. We tried a few things but communication was difficult. I asked for elevation and was cut off while waiting.  Anyone with similar issue and possible solution?I also have another connect device with a similar configuration for another room and it still works.

Why does my Sonos speaker (normal sized one - one I believe. ) no longer work when I play Spotify. As soon as adverts start it turns off all music and I cannot hear adverts or music. Also Spotify alarms no longer work I used to wake up daily to a playlist and no I just hear a horrible chime and get earache or it ignores all alarms set.The other issues I won’t go in eg. Connecting multiple speakers on sonos app. Ever since sonos 2 app came along it doesn’t work. Some speakers have to be one the s1 app (black icon) and some on the s2 app (gold icon). Can’t get on s2 app due to old speakers and new speakers.  Reported  via Spotify and Sonos and still no solution 18 months later  

I have a Buffalo Linkshare 4TB drive.  Sonos V1 accepted the drive and loaded all the files into the music library with no issue.  When I try to set up Sonos V2 to access it for the music library, I get an error about 5-10 minutes into it that the drive is no longer available.    V1 has no issues indexing it, but V2 seems to throw this error.  Help, please!

As title says I have been using a FireStick 4k getting atmos from all streaming services just fine. I recently upgraded to the max and now sonos app only displays dolby digital plus 5.1. My tv identifies the stream as atmos going out to arc but sonos does not. This is an older non earc tv is the atmos signal sent differently (aka like appletv) over the 4k max vs the normal 4k stick?

haven't had my music library indexed on SONOS for a few years,  decided to get rid of iTunes match and download my catalogue onto a hard drive and run it from that.  I have loads of records that aren't on streaming platforms so wanted them available on my system. All music is download now on the hard drive, tested it and works, and I have added the hard drive to the Sonos controller no issue. However when I try and index the files it shows the wheel thinking about indexing then it disappears pretty much immediately.  The files are M4A files which are apprently supported, as per the SONOS website. Any ideas as to why nothing is appearing and the indexing doesn’t do anything?    

 What is the correct way to connect this system. Sonos ARC, era 100's, sub and just purchased the Sonos port to seemless connect my Denon AVR? As it stands the ARC is connected to the arc output on the Sony TV (has earc) The port is line out to line in on the AVR I don't have any wired speakers as of yet but the system will allow wireless because Denon makes a whole  line of wireless. Looking for my next move in hopes to have the AVR power and amplify the system? Thanks for the help hopefully it's right here in front of me and I'm having a brain fart.  

Hello everyone,I need help before installing a home cinema. I have a sonos Amp connected to two speakers sonance by wire and i want to intal a sonos sub by Wifi. But i think there will be a sound delay between the sound of the speakers connected by wire and the subwoofer (or others speakers potentially) connected by wifi.Can you help me please. Sorry if my english is bad, i’m french Victor

Not all of my Spotify playlists are appearing in Sonos. Saw older inquiries and suggestions, such as deleting Spotify from my Sonos and reinstalling. This hasn’t helped.  please help 🎶

Hi,I've got an arc under the TV, and two IKEA Symfonisk connected as rear surround.Now I'd like to use my Connect:AMP to be seen as a Sub (click connect sub) in my S2 system, and use the amp to drive my passive subwoofer.Any idea if this is possible? I know that I can create two groups, one as I have it today and one with the connect:amp, and then group them together. But, that isn't really what I want as then I lose the option of Sonos sending the right frequence range to the Connect:amp (being a sub). 

I’m using the Beam Gen 2 as a surround sound system with Sinfoniks. I’m considering adding a Roam to listen to the TV sound in another room using the group function. Is this possible?

i have a restaurant - here’s my set up:Six Samsung TVsSix Beam G2Comcast business modem/wifi one guest wifione private wifiSonos 2 app on ipad that has current OS and connected to private wifiNeed to use the sonos app for background music when the tv sound isn’t on, but the picture is - like on a soccer gamei have had no issue setting up the beams set up on wifi private on the first try, naming them, connecting back to tvs, grouping them.  however, going back onto the app - once it’s been closed  or ipad has gone to sleep, some or all cannot be found, the spotify app from sonos doesn’t see any or all etc. i have tried factory resetting all of them then connect the first one to ethernet in order to use sonosnet, except the sonos setup app won’t connect to set up that way. I have reset them all multiple times and they all get connected but don’t stay connected. So it must be my comcast modem with wifi built into it right? calling comcast didn’t help as they said they don’t help with this

Hi,I have a setup Projector Optoma ZK400 + Era 300 + PS5.There’s no TV or PC in the setup.PS5 cannot be connected to Era300.How can i play the sound of the PS5 in Era300?
