downgrade to get things working again

Hi All is it worth downgrading my products to S1 so I can use the old app as the new one is crap and not working

This would be an option if all of your products are compatible with S1. Most of the current products are not compatible.

Does anyone know how to get the previous app to work? The previous app displays all of our systems but the new app doesn’t. We tried work around and customer support all day today and still no resolve. If there is a way to access a different controller that might help but I have no idea how to do that? Thanks for any suggestions you have!

I’ve not found an answer anywhere - and the only app you can still get is the Sonos 1 - hence my question about downgrading to the first app - at least I know it will work!

What’s the matter with Sonos? Why can’t they leave the S2 app available to download? Are they forcing us to leave?

I agree, but they aren’t listening.  Someone said Bose is very similar, so I might look there as I can’t play the tv through my soundbar and speakers as according to the new app they don’t exist!!!!

I have side loaded the S2 app on android.

The s2 app will not allow downgrading to s1 (as of May 21).  The option to downgrade is present, but as part of the process, it checks for app updates and since there is a newer app available it prompts to install that before downgrading.

Of course, the new version 80 app does not allow downgrading.
